he really does not fucking care about old films. he will watch every movie from 2018 but not a single film from 70s, let alone films that are older. he fucking struggles with movies even from the 90s

It's clear he doesn't have an ounce of formal education. A buddy of mine took a film class and he watched all types of older movies.

older films have already been discussed a billion times by professional critics. you just have to read old magazine issues instead of watching jewtube videos. there's probably a business in converting old written reviews into videos if you had the resources.

i tried to watch his long "critique" of Oldboy, but i coudlnt handle 5 minutes
he compares how their intros are different, the japanese oldboy starting with a character introduction and american oldboy starting with a titlescreen
he just rambles about how good the japs intro is and then shows the title screen from the american one and goes "WOOOOW THIS IS SO BAAAAAD"
i coudlnt take it anymore after that, comparing 5 minutes of one to movie to 1 frame of another really says a lot about his mental capacity
