Do orcs have restaurants that have menus? Are they really that advanced?
Do orcs have restaurants that have menus? Are they really that advanced?
Cafeterias have menus.
isengard was more "advanced" than anywhere else from a realistic modern standpoint
i don't think it's crazy to think they had some sort of feeding/drinking hole with a selection
The words the orcs say are translated from their language to english, here the translator inserted an idiom to make the jubilation of the orcs at the return of meat to their diet more apparent.
fucking atlus
This, Lord of the Rings is, canonically, a translation of a translation, written by a Hobbit. Orcs don't have menus or restaurants, but Hobbits do.
Why did Peter Jackson go from that to those cgi abominations in The Hobbit?
Gandalf say:
>It's 10 o' clock in the morning on October 24th if you want to know
How does middle earth have October and how does Gandalf know about it.
October was named after Octavian, Roman Emperor.
>October was named after Octavian, Roman Emperor.
It was named because it was the eighth month of the year.
How did people at that time know that it was the eight month of the year? Why not the seventh? Or ninth month?
They looked at the calendar, retard.
There was a bar in Hobbiton so makes some sense
Remember that part where they tried to eat Boggo but he led them straight into a trap?
Progress.
Huh.
That was sauronman's own personal storage. The orcs probably ate shit unless they could capture an animal or manflesh.
At one point Gimli say's that his axe is embedded in an Uruk's nervous system. How does a dwarf know what a nervous system is?
"No parent should have to bury a child" I'm pretty sure children died all the time in Middle Earth.
This image legit makes me sad.
Doesn't make it any less true.
>I haven't seen that face in years
In short, yes. I'm sure that kitchens at every point in time would have choices not that it was written down anywhere.
i'd be pretty nervous too if i had an axe inside me haha
*No pear ent should have to berry their child.
Idk why he brought up ents at his kid’s funeral
Delicious.
More importantly, what IS the menu of the Chateau Isengard Bistro like?
Do they require reservations?
Kek
more like
>eat your hamburgers Apollo
Yes you idiot, they where an army and when an army marches they have to eat food, and they don't just grab food randomly. They have a prepared menu that is carefully rationed.
>they don't just grab food randomly
it's called foraging and they had to do it constantly before food preservatives were invented
And then an army cook would create a menu out of those ingredients. If they could find meat then meat would be on the menu. Therefore there is no problem with the line
>or at a meal
The second definition, dummy
What was the Orcs tipping policy?
English wasn't spoken in Middle Earth. Every word you read has been translated into English by Tolkien. Same for the movies. Idioms are translated into English as well.
