trying to deviate from the normal formula

I like that they made the blue a lot paler

None. Well maybe if someone tortures me or threatens my family to make me quit. Otherwise never.
Reason: I chose my franchises wisely and I would never choose Star Wars because *clears throat*

STAR WARS ALWAYS WAS, CURRENTLY IS, AND ALWAYS WILL BE SHIT! THE DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY BETWEEN STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL AND THE MOST BELOVED STAR WARS EPISODE IS MINIMAL!

how was this scene approved?

Nani?! Sh-she's fast!

Social Justice and anti white propaganda.

True.
Shit Wars is an affront to the science fiction genre.
And so is Star Trek you niggers.

That's called being a fanboy, user

It really doesn't come off like she's crazy fast, which I assume was the intention?

>Heh, nothing personnel
To answer your question:
>When the franchise tries to revise its own history
>When the franchise tries to tell me how to think
>When the franchise makes obtuse self-referencing garbage that appeals to the lowest common denominator
>When the franchise starts ripping its earlier installments off unapologetically
>When the franchise makes it clear that they don't want my money anymore
So basically Star Wars

Stuff like this makes me feel justified in dropping Star Wars.

The franchise lacks a coherent story

>I'M ACTING

>how was this scene approved?
What's wrong with it

>It really doesn't come off like she's crazy fast, which I assume was the intention?
I think people will be puzzling out the intention for years to come

The movie was on a tight schedule.
Kathleen wanted the movie done as soon as possible (gotta shit out a Star Wars film every year). Rian didn’t care about quality and justed wanted the scene done quickly (which is why it is one long shot far away despite seeing all the mistakes/fight-cues).

I like how his other blade mysteriously disappeared so he couldn't gut her. Or deciding to catch her, and not stabbing her when she's on the floor.

If they were going to edit this in this manner why not at least edit the second blade prior to him grappling her?
This just makes an utterly stupid and poorly choreographed scene even more ridiculous.

>a-at least the throne room scene was cool, right?
Unironically said to me once by an apologist for this shitpile of a flick

grater israel.

Well for one. TLJ had zero good fights or action whatsoever and Rey is a boring Mary Sue.

I dont understand how the good guys are labeled a resistance and how the first order took control so easy.

>I dont understand how the good guys are labeled a resistance and how the first order took control so easy.
The answer is unironically "neither does Rey".

When the enjoyment I gain from watching the show or playing the game is outweighed by any negative feelings I have towards it, and there's no light at the end of the tunnel that could save it from eternal shittiness.

Example: Matt Smith era of Dr. Who.

Really? For all the complaints the series gets, I don't think this should be one of them. After the emperor died with no heir in a very public military defeat, sending the empire into chaos, it wouldn't be too difficult for someone to step forward and brand himself a unifier. Granted, it doesn't help that they didn't actually show or mention it at all, but it's fine from a logical point of view.

>it wouldn't be too difficult for someone to step forward and brand himself a unifier.
The republic was back in control after that.

>The movie was on a tight schedule.
This is bullshit. The film was way ahead of schedule, even the post-production work was finished months before release, and they barely ran into problems compared to every other film Disney shat out. I don't blame Rian for the story because it was written the same time as TFA and JJ constantly changed the script, but this doesn't excuse this scene which clearly wasn't thought out very well.

Dykes and Comedy spamming.
