>Pi (conspiracy, mystery, paranoia, quite esoteric)
>Eyes wide shut
>The Conspiracy (if you like "found tape" sort of thing)
>Conspiracy theory (a bit cheesy but if you are into conspiracies and paranoia it can be fun)
>Truman show, obviously
>The ninth gate (again, very cheesy, but if you are into books it can be decently entertaining)
that is all I have off the top of my head
What genre would you say Cube is? i want more
I call them Budget sci-fi. I've seen coherence, triangle, the man from earth. I think you would like them
mothman prophecies
The cube movies would be fun if they weren't mostly just an excuse to kill people in inplausable gory ways. I didn't get the feeling of paranoia from some unseen force controlling me, or claustrophobia, just wondering what ridiculous death trap was going to kill me in an impossible way to please idiots.
Body count films are more fun. Even Freddy films at least don't try to take this shit seriously. Hellraiser made me wonder what the fuck was going on. The Cube movies didn't make me care.
coherence was interesting and the man from earth was really fun until it became all religion, i'll look at triangle
shitty movie genre
Escape Room, it was just in theaters and had a similar vibe
The 1992 "Fortress" was disturbing in it's own way. It has a person caught in a hell prison because he and his wife had a second child, and the prison itself is murderous where it's easy to just die. America itself is a dystopian nightmare and the environment is sort of Alien series movie environment.
Mystery I guess? Watch The Exam and Cricle.
