How come every comedian that had a career before 2016 all turn out to be literal nazis?

I miss when everyone wasn't so crazy fucking obsessed with politics, why can't we have monologues with smoking monkey's again, how about memes? Stories about people in Florida. Why do we need a 20-30 minute speech about how bad Trump is or SNL Cold Open?

Why is it their responsibility? Why do they want to get reliable viewships so bad but cap out at a certain 5 million viewer level?
