Black Panther

2018 was a bad year.

They're all pretty cancerous this year, so you may as well just choose randomly.

>watching movies
what the fuck bro i really hope you don't do this!

2018 was garbage but The Favourite was pretty good. Emma Stone shows a tit as well. Bohemian Rhapsody is pretty mediocre, but worth seeing for Malek's performance. Sort of like Heath Ledger's Dark Knight performance. Saves what is otherwise a shit film.

Malek was fine, but his performance did nothing for me except for when he was on stage. I mostly attribute that to the garbage script.

I'm also just realizing that every best picture nom has an sjw/lgbt slant.

The Favourite was definitely the best movie of the year.

Also, be aware that Malek is a fraud. They used voice mixing with a real singer to make his performance sound so good.

>they used a singer for the singing parts
holy shit I had no idea

I mean, normally for someone's role as a singer to be considered amazing they have to actually sing... Cooper actually sang in A Star Is Born for instance.

Well he isn't actually Freddie Mercury user. The Favourite should win Best Picture but it isn't black enough or criticize Trump enough.

But everyone knows that he couldn't possibly sing like Freddie Mercury

>They used voice mixing with a real singer to make his performance sound so good
he was lip synching

pretty sure at some points they used actual alternate takes from studio recordings to make it different enough but still sound like freddie

Oscar films are all shut if you are a real person and not a pretentious faggot.

Horror and Action are the best genres and none of the good Horror or Action films ever get nominated. Give me Friday the 13th or Terminator over Oscar trash any day.

who is this bitch and why do people keep posting her

Bohemian Rhapsody 4/10
Black Panther 3/10
BlacKkKlansman 6/10
The Favourite 8/10
Green Book 8/10
A Star Is Born 5/10
Roma 8/10
Vice 8/10

Pretty shit year desu

>worth watching
The Favourite is worth watching. Bohemian Rhapsody is too, but I think we'll have to wait for the rest of the band to die if we're going to get a proper movie about Queen. Rest of the movies on the list are political or obvious oscar bait shit.

>what is Gladiator

This. Look at the trash that was nominated for Best Picture in 2000 over The Matrix.

The Favourite and Blackkklansman are the only thing this year that entertained me, The Favourite the most.

The cast of the Disney capeshit movies will be handing out the awards, and BP got its nomination even thugh it didn't deserve it.

That says everything. Avoid. Disney owns this shit now.

>those movies
>trash
They’re only five slots and they’re mostly things people would actually recognize. Cider House Rules is Weinstein-bait, so I’ll give you that. The Insider is arguably Mann’s best.

The favourite, Shoplifters, Cold War, Green book were good.

The best film of this year, Burning, didn't even get nominated.

Everything else was meh

This is honestly the first time the awards have been worth watching, it's going to be such a shit show i can't wait.

Roma, cold war and The favorite. Fuck the rest.

All them movies besides The Cider house(never seen) are better than the Matrix.

Toy Story 2, Fight Club, Being John Malkovich, Magnolia, Eyes Wide Shut, The Mummy, Man on the Moon, Any Given Sunday all would have been a better pick than The Matrix too.

No they shunned ourguy Joaquin despite him putting in 3 kino performances this year.

He'll get one next year for Best Male Performance By a Villain Protagonist in a DC Movie.

Green Book >

Green Book or Roma will win, but neither is concrete at all.
This is one of the hardest years to predict of all-time along with the Oscars in 2017
