You watched a dark fairy tale of sorts. I thought that the whole idea of it was supposed to how a true, predatory alien would exist on Earth. It's like ScarJo's character hardly regards humans as sentient. True, she lets the one deformed guy go free, but I always took that to the same level of pity that a human has when helping a struggling insect. There was also a lot to analyze about sex and gender. I liked it a lot, although it was a weird one to watch.
