How do you think Dune will turn out?

7/10 at least if they recast Sting.

This casting is proof they only plan to adapt the first book, which could completely miss the point of the saga. Duncan Idaho becomes way more complex than what Momoa could pull off.

Fuck that noise. There should be NO stunt casting of previous Dune actors. This needs to be an all-new version.

But he really is a lovely Feyd.

I haven't read the books and know very little about the franchise, but Denis has proved himself to be a great director and did fine with 2049 but Eric Roth is such a safe screen writer who writes a lot of sappy oscar bait, and the other credited writer wrote for Prometheus and Doctor Strange. That may be indication they're going for a more simple and be more generally appealing to audiences, considering 2049 was so mediocre performing.

we'll see, I'm sceptical but denis is great and hasn't done anything bad yet.

Sting should be in it.

I wonder what Momoa will look like with short hair and clean-shaven face.

>he comes back with metal eyes
woah...how could he handle such a complex character

How can Sting play a teenage character? Or do you mean cast him as another character?

Why does everyone stop posting whenever I post in a thread? ;_;
