there are threads about it almost every day

nothing else needs to be said about a movie that is universally accepted as good

i too like the bank shootout scene

ill be your friend buddy

Kino but deniro's character seemed a bit flat

what's there to discuss/ as you said, it;s kino

I know what they're lookin at
You wanna know what they're lookin at?

>There will never be a heist film as good as Heat
Feels bad man.

How has there not been a film with a shootout anywhere close to being as good and raw as the heist shootout?

there are plenty of heat threads here you fucking piece of shit newfaggot

>watch HEAT
>want more heist films and watch others including The Score but they're not as good
>wait another year
>repeat

The Way of the Gun gets close but still not quite as good.

A good shootout is an art form unto itself and no one bothers to record proper on set audio for firearms anymore, everyone just does it in post with the same generic catalog of gun sounds.

I feel like i've spent half my life googling "Movies like Heat" on a yearly basis only to be disappointed.

and scores huge bonus points for the intro scene

>why don't we talk about this?

It's not capeshit, nerdshit or an anime adaption. You don't honestly expect the brainlets on this board to talk about it do you?

You'd think good heist films would be all over the place, but they really aren't. It's weird.

>search suggests Ocean's 11
>"nevermind"

Hollywood is full of soi boiz, women, and sub 80 iq shitskins. None of them know anything about guns let alone the intricacies of a gun fight.

He's a stoic man tired of modern life.

Man he just couldn't resist going after Wayngrow in the end, such a shame. He was home free.

So you just watched Heat and want to talk about how awesome it is? No, loser. Jim Gaffigan wrote a joke about people like you.

This was the last great movie featuring Al Pacino, from here it was all downhill
Devil's advocate and Insider were ok, but nothing special
De'Niro had Ronin to look forward to, but fuck me that man has done some trash since

Insomnia with Al Pacino is breddy good if you haven't seen it or haven't seen it in a while. Imo best Christopher Nolan movie.

That's just deniro having no range like always

Because it belongs to /k/

No it's not silly.
But yes sometimes it is mentioned on here that's true.

For it's age, it's talked about all the time here. Still one of, if not the, best shootout sequence of all time.

The Town is pretty cool

No
Some came close, but no.

Too busy thinking about that BBV

I can't think of a single shootout scene that surpasses it, yeah.

Why didn't he just bring Danny Trejo to a hospital instead of shooting him. That was some cold shit. The mark of a true psychopath. It was good that the guy played by Pacine shot him in the end.

Trejo said "I'm not gonna make it man, I can't feel anything"

he was pretty much on death's door. Then he begged DeNiro not to leave him like that. Professional courtesy.

I think it can be assumed that these are the kind of guys that don't want to live life as vegetables or spend their lives in jail.

Tell me.

Us. They're looking at us. Congratulations gentlemen, we just got made.

It is, and it inspired GTA V in a lot of ways, so it was a double win. There's some great music throughout the film too.

Shit

He was completely fucked and they had killed his wife.

That came out 24 years ago, Jim.
