I want to continue the AU of Pearl being the one who had a kid with Greg...

I want to continue the AU of Pearl being the one who had a kid with Greg, and Rose turning into a manipulative abuser like she always was. Last thread was fucking kino
None of the work is mine but I will be reposting in chronological order

>Greg veers into the underground scene early in his music career
>Develops a taste for more sophisticated genres
>Joins with an indie band called "The Satin Transit"
>After a tense discussion with Rose, Pearl does the unthinkable and defies her diamond; sneaking out into the autumn evening to get some air.
>She finds herself walking aimlessly onto the campus of a local art school, changing her form to that of a slender english education student in a dark green sweater, black jeans, and hightop sneakers. A pair of circular rimed glasses and a messy bun complete her disguise.
>Pearl quickly settles on the name "Persephone," as she follows the somber sound of a local band to a small gazebo out by the soccer fields.
>She's mesmerized by the soft, words of the dashing lead; the lyrics envoking feelings of detachment from one's surroundings, a home abandoned, friends lost to time- lonliness.
>Pearl doesn't notice the tears welling in her eyes until the handsome singer wraps up a final, weeping ballad and approaches her.
>"Miss?" He inquires with a soft smile, pulling a hankerchief from the pocket of his leather jacket and handing it to her. "Everything alright?"
>Pearl sniffed and graciously accepted the offered square of cloth, raising her glasses and drying the errant tears.
>"That... that was simply beautiful." His smile grew into a gracious beam- her heart felt on the verge of melting.
>"Well, thank you very much, miss, uh..."
>"Persephone, though I usually go by 'Seph'."
>"Greg; pleasure to meet you, Seph." His smile held it's earnest warmth, kind eyes meeting hers as if to say 'I know your pain. I'm here for you.'
>The two stood in comfortable silence for a moment, each taking in the other.
>Finally, and thankfully as Pearl was certain she'd begun to stare at his lips, Greg spoke up.
>"Hey, if you're not busy, we were going to have a little listening party for our new album down at my friend's house. Would you, uh, wanna drop by?"

Also including some good bits about how Rose/Pink Diamonds character would be in this AU story:
>Pink Diamond was the literal definition of a child in an adult's body
>Threw tantrums all the time when she didn't get what she wanted/enough attention
>Poofed and bubbled Bismuth, a close friend and valuable ally, to the Crystal Gems
>Forgot about Spinel
>Let a baby climb up a ferris wheel when she was on earth
She'd be worse than Amethyst and probably end up putting Steven in life-threatening situations because "it seemed fun", Garnet would be working around the clock with her future vision to stop Rose from killing Steven

>Pearl found herself in the crowded living room of a small two-bedroom house just off the campus.
>Pearl usually loathed the concept of consumption, something about the organic practice just rubbed her the wrong way.
>Tonight, however, she found herself on her second red cup of an admittedly delicious human beverage that had begun to make her head swim just a touch.
>The comfortable numbness helped the slender gem-in-disguise navigate the crowd of tipsy strangers, emboldened on her search for the striking young man she'd met mere hours ago.
>Carpet beneath her feet turned to tile as Pearl slipped into the less populus kitchen.
>There, surrounded by a haze of peculiar-smelling smoke, stood Greg.
>In her inebriated state, it took a great deal of restraint not to simply rush over and throw her arms around him. He seemed so warm and welcoming and...
>Oh stars- he was looking right at her.
>Greg passed a sort of hand-rolled cigarette to a very interested looking blonde beside him and crossed the room to Pearl.
>Eyes red, smelling of smoke, and hair ever so slightly disheveled: he was gorgeous.
>To Pearl's surprise, Greg drew her into a warm embrace. "Hey, Seph! Man, I'm glad you came!"
>Pearl's words rushed to her lips in a jumbled mess. "O-Oh, I, uh, happy to, erm"
>Greg held her at arm's length as that damned smile threatened to finish her off. "Oh man, don't tell me you drank some of Vidalia's punch- that stuff is rocket fuel!"
>He broke into a fit of laughter and, oh clod, of course... it's adorable.
>"I-I'm sorry, I must look an absolute mess" Pearl made a move to shield her burning face, only to be met with one of Greg's large, calloused hands.
>"What're you talking about? Dude, you look friggin' gorgeous; I've never seen someone hold together so well after drinking that swill."
>Greg the human has shattered her. She concedes.
>She's leaning in before she even has a chance to think. She can feel the heat between their lips before he stops her.

>The hands on her shoulders snap pearl out of her trance in an instant.
>'idiot' the chorus of chiding voices in her mind flared like lit kerosene. 'Stupid, stupid, stupid little clod. He probably has a mate. And even if he didn't, what would he want with you? You can dress yourself up any way you'd like, you'll never be anything more than a pear-'
>"Just walk with me, nobody's seen yet." Greg's arm loops over her shoulders as he leads the confused gem out the back door.
>'Great, now you've gone and embarrassed him.'
>As pearl let her chin drop to her chest with despair, she noticed a distinct lack of a wool sweater. The pieces began to fall into place.
>"What... What are you...?" Greg's previous swagger had seemingly vanished along with the gem's disguise.
>And who could blame him? A perfectly normal looking girl had just turned into some sort of... human crystal? Mid-kiss.
>Pearl's eyes were fixed on the moon. It had always been a comforting presence in troubled times on this planet.
>Now, pearl wished she could simply zip herself to it's cold, pale surface and sit until this human had forgotten her- until everyone had.
>It was just another missed opportunity. Just another chance at change that she lept at too quickly and squandered.
>Who was she trying to fool? She should just run now, while he was busy leaning close and touching her cheek and...
>A white light flashed so brilliantly across her vision, pearl momentarily thought she had been struck blind.
>Her arms bound across his shoulders like a drowning sailor clinging to driftwood in a violent sea
>They were floating; she was sure of it. >Any minute she could look down and see a mile between them and the suburbs below.
>She clung a bit tighter when he finally pulled back, somewhat relieved to find they were indeed still on the back porch.
>"Alright," Greg started with a smile, his rough fingers tangling gently in her hair. "Now that we're a little better acquainted, what's your name, 'Seph?'"

Attached: 1557532766699.jpg (1438x1091, 757K)

>Even in the context of Pearl's virtually limitless years, the month spent with Greg had felt like a whirlwhind.
>The early november night on the yellow-lit back porch was still fresh in her mind. She remembered with fondness the disbelief and bewilderment that played across Greg's face as she told him of her origin: of homeworld, of gems, of the war, and of their defection.
>He was understandably flush with questions, and much of the rest of the evening was spent in his room, answering each and every one between those funny green cigarettes she was becoming increasingly fond of.
>At points, she found herself too giggly to continue or too overwhelmed by memories to properly put them to words.
>But Greg was patient, above all. They laid in his bed, tangled up with one another, simply enjoying the sounds the other made until Pearl felt ready to continue.
>She made a routine of sneaking out to see him each time Rose would be occupied for the evening with one thing or another.
>Many such "dates," as Greg called them, were spent at films or record stores or eateries (the latter took quite a bit of time for Pearl to warm up to).
>Her favorite "dates" were the practice sessions Greg's band held in the living room. It was especially pleasant when she was the only one in attendance; when it felt like Greg was singing to her and her alone.
>Each song held a special significance when his eyes were gently held on hers. Pearl often felt the urge to stand and dance with him, though refrained to keep in good favor with his bandmates.
>Their bassist, a tough-looking girl named Vidalia, greated pearl with a bump of their knuckles as she and Greg slipped in from the cold December wind.
>"Sup, Sputnik?" The young woman smiled warmly.
>"Good afternoon," Pearl returned a friendly smile, waving a gloved hand to the rest of the group who regarded her with similarly casual greetings.

>Greg and Rose have a somewhat complicated relationship
>He deeply resents Rose for her manipulative nature and her habit of constantly putting Steven in danger.
>Greg understands that this is necessary at times, as Steven is taking up his mother's role as Rose's guardian.
>Other times, however, it seems as if she's simply amused by the boy's struggles. Perhaps she derrives a sense of importance from Steven's ceaseless efforts to serve and protect her.
>This infurates Greg to no end.
>Her exploitative nature isn't limited to his son, of course.
>Rose's infatuation with Greg became more overt after his lover's passing; turning downright coercive as he continually rejected her advances.
>She would often bring Steven's safety on an upcoming mission into question until he begrudgingly agreed to some trivial date or a night in bed.
>One night in particular ended with Greg storming out into the night after Rose had taken Pearl's form in order to wrest some more passion from the widowed man.
>Steven was not oblivious to the ways the diamond manipulated his father.
>The innate subservience he felt to her, however, prevented him from speaking out; at times even pleading for his father to be more understanding of her lonliness.

Attached: 1463003343345.png (700x780, 222K)

>Garnet always steps in to protect Greg from Rose as best as she can when he inevitably invokes one of her infamous tantrums.
>Only Steven is able to talk her down each time, though Rose always gets what she wants in the end.
>She throws a particularly severe fit when Greg begins spending time with another human: a woman around his age by the name of Vidalia.
>She vents her anger to Amythest one night as Greg and Vidalia are out at a concert.
>Completely loses her cool as Amythest suggests that perhaps its natural for Greg to want to be with his own kind.
>Pink snaps a pier leg like a matchstick and she screams that he's only seeing "that lower lifeform" because she reminds him of Pearl.
>Steven, hearing his mother's name, rushes out of the house to calm his diamond before she does any serious damage.
>His presence only further upsets her, as she sees the spitting image of the deceased gem in the slender boy.
>Pink reels her hand back to strike him. Steven stands motionless before her and squeezes his eyes shut. Anything for his diamond.
>Instead of a devastating blow, two protecting arms wrap around his torso and carry him away from the chaos.
>His eyes open to see a teary-eyed Vidalia gently stroking his hair.
>Behind her, Greg is speaking to the irrate diamond.
>Her breathing seems to even after a moment and Steven's heart sinks as she leans down to kiss his father.
>Vidalia herself has began crying but does her best to maintain her composure as she leads Steven away to his father's van.
>"What did he say to her?..." he asks the tall woman, his voice straining with heartache.
>Vidalia swallows hard and forces a meek smile, sitting beside the boy on the back bumper. "Oh, you know... just that old Universe charm..."

Things got darker when Rose's physical abuse of steven became a thing as well:
>"Dad, come on, it was an accident!"
>The 16 year old's superhuman strength keeps his father from pushing past. Greg struggles in his son's grip regardless, completely blinded with rage.
>"I told her never to put hands on you!" He's shouting louder than he intends. Seeing the large bruise on Steven's neck was too much to bear. Pink had gone too far.
>Greg swiftly ducks under Steven's outstretched arm and manages to load two shells into the shotgun slung across his elbow.
>Amythest and Garnet attempt to stall him in the living room to little avail.
>It's on the back porch where Greg finds Pink: reclined on a beach chair without a care in the world.
>He trained the barrel at the gem in her belly and was fully prepared to squeeze the trigger when his son broke the gap between them.
>The three were frozen for several seconds, Garnet and Amythest looking on in horror.
>"Dad... Please..." Steven's tembling voice stole his father's willpower.
>The gun clattered loudly on the deck.
>Pink draped her arms around the boy's shoulders and kissed his cheek, her eyes locked on Greg's.
>"My hero~" She cooed, venomously.
And that's where the story ended so far, hopefully some writeanons stop in to get some discussion going

Pretty interesting. Is there a link to the other thread?

Sure, I just grabbed the main bits from that thread

Rose has less than a year before Peridots bots start showing up, sooner or later things are going to get messy for this AU

This is my most shameful erection in the past 24 hours.
>Rose enjoying how Steven feels compelled to be with her at night.
>Connie being phased out of Steven’s life when Rose notices his feelings for her.

I know it's Steven in there but god damn why is PD!Steven such a hot concept?

Probably because you have a sissy fetish of some kind
you want to make him a slut

Maybe so, I do enjoy Benfire more than I should

She went back to the Garden and told Spinel she had done a great job and they were going to play a new game now. Spinel would pretend to be this quirky new "Rose Quartz" character she had invented and to try to keep this act up as long as she could. Then Pink sent to her back to Homeworld.

Attached: be right back.jpg (1280x853, 178K)

This would give her a few years admittedly if the chaos of Rose showing up were to delay Peridot enough, but she was sending the bots to check on the cluster, so they are pretty much inevitable.
Although the movie would just be CYM

I feel like Rose is gonna convince Steven to kill Greg so she and him can be together. I also feel like it’s from a movie but I can’t remember which.

There's a lot of movies with that plot homie
but it would be a pretty nice conflict, maybe the one where steven breaks free from his pearl programming?
They could introduce Steg through that and do Independent Together in a more somber tone, and Rose ends up finding them fused and goes absolutely ballistic.

This has just turned into Pink desperately trying to delay the inevitable

>Rose making Steven beg to be even near her

Then after that fails it turns into
>Rose begging steven to be near her
Then into
>If Rose can't have her, then nobody can
Cue Rose attempting to kill Steven for disobeying and Greg for making him
The rest of the CG are torn because of this and there's ACTUAL drama in Steven Universe now

Yeah, that doesn't seem particularly out of character.

>Conflict with Homeworld avoided but the Cluster is still active and they don't even know about it
>One day Garnet starts browsing possible futures to make sure Rose and Greg don't kill each other and sees that, no matter what, at the exact same moment everything just fucking goes dark

Attached: forecast.jpg (1280x960, 235K)

>Rose ordering Steven to kill himself

>Rose molesting Steven and telling him to be grateful

Thank you for saving my drabbles, OP, that actually made my morning.
Which one would you prefer I continue first: Pre Pearl's death or post?

Never actually thought of that. I felt she would see Steven as a Diamond would see a Pearl: a means to an end. Of course, she would want to appeal to his human nature to ensure completely blind loyalty and trust. I don't think Pink's necessarily evil, perse. She's essentially a moody, lovesick, self-centered teenage girl trapped in the body of a god-emperor who believes that the ends are justified by any means because she deserves to have everything she sets her eyes on.
>writefaggotry inbound

>"Fine, I'll go make my own fun." Pink huffed angrily as she stormed out of Greg's bedroom.
>He was quite concerned now; Pink never let up so easily, yet she left without even trying to force herself on him.
>There was her usual pleading, of course. She always played cute at first, lying beside him with those big shimmering eyes, lower lip quivering, soft hands pawing at his chest.
>"Pink, I'm exhausted. Another night, okay?" It was the truth; Greg had been running ragged at the record store since six that morning. His band's reunion concert had drawn a significantly larger crowd than he could have imagined, forcing him to expand their venue: obtain street permits, move equipment, adjust audio, all on the fly.
>The soft pawing turned to a gentle grip on his nightshirt, Pink's lips pressing to his unreceptive pair.
>"But Greeeeg, I want it!" Pink whined, as if this alone should be more than enough reason to do as she says.
>His unresponsiveness only seemed to spur the needy diamond on further as Greg found himself pinned to the mattress under her surprising weight.
>He was far too weary to protest much further. As hungry kisses trailed down his neck, Greg tried once more to plead his case.
>"Pink, Stop." He surprised himself with the sheer brevity in his own voice.
>Evidently, he'd surprised Pink as well. She sat up on his hips and glared down at him, visibly considering her next move.
>If she decided to simply press on in spite of him, it wouldn't be the first time. Thus time, however, she'd clearly settled on an alternative. Sliding off his lap with a huff, Pink grabbed her cropped hoodie from his desk and made her way out of his room, spitting the venomous words over her shoulder that would soon come to haunt him.
>'She'll probably just go screw some drunk college kid.' He tried reassuring himself.
>'With any luck, she'll get obsessed with him. That 'oughta keep her off my back for at least a week or two. Maybe I could hang with steven.'
.cont

>>'With any luck, she'll get obsessed with him. That 'oughta keep her off my back for at least a week or two. Maybe I could hang with steven.'
oh boy, dis gon be gud

Attached: Anticipation.png (577x554, 740K)

Oh no. Save the boy!

Pearl wouldn't have any reason to give up her material form when making a kid like Rose did.

Save the boy for me

Attached: SinisterRose.png (580x630, 699K)

Oh fuck off. Fetish autist ruin everything.

>Steven quickly stirred awake as he felt a presence in his room.
>The lock on his bedroom door audibly clicked shut. He fumbled in the dark for his desk lamp.
>"Steven, relax; it's me~"
>The words felt like a warm blanket draped over cold shoulders- dreamlike and alluring, yet comforting and motherly.
>His mattress creaked with the added weight. Her gorgeous face was illuminated by streaks of moonlight peeking through his window and further still by his softly glowing gem.
>"G-Good evening my diamond." The boy bent his skinny torso forward in an attempt at some sort of seated bow, eliciting a beautiful giggle from Pink. "How may I be of service?...?"
>She could easily overpower the boy now and simply take what she wanted. But, of course, she could have done the same to his father. There was no sport in it; hardly any fun at all unless Steven was as "gifted" as his father. Even then, it would just be a mechanical sort of pleasure.
>No, Pink would take her time with him. He would want, no, NEED her. She would be in control, not Greg-
>She pushed the name from her mind and focused instead on Steven's soft features.
>Pink finally spoke as her fingers grazed a hairless jaw.
>"Oh, my gurdian..." Pink's words dripped with melancholy as her fingers moved to tangle in his thick hair. "You think I'm pretty, don't you...?" She feigned a delicate look of trepidation as the boy stared on in awe.
>"M-My diamond, you're the most beautiful creature on the planet- in the universe!" Steven's cheeks caught fire as Pink's thumb brushed across his lips.
>'Oh, it's almost too easy~' She fought back a cruel smirk and crept a bit closer to her prey.
>"Do... Do you really think so?" Pink's rosy lips turned up into a deceptively meek smile.
>Steven couldn't fathom why she would ever think otherwise; his diamond was perfect. No other, human or gem, could even compare.
>Most puzzling of all, she was asking him- a lowly guardian- to affirm this.

>truth is, kid
>the fic was a fetish from the start

Weird, I still imagined pudgy Steven but like Pearl shade of white, still pretty great /ss/

I figured he would sort of take on Pearl's figure and perhaps a touch of her hair, while still retaining his father's face and overall friendly demeanor

Makes sense

What would be the breaking point that could get Steven to actively defy Rose?

It may be very difficult for him, but because he’s half-human it shouldn’t be outright impossible like it is for Pearl.

post pearl's death for sure write-friend
You write Rose very well

Eh, I liked it better when it was implied he was reluctant but went along with it out of subconscious compulsion

Damn I'm terrified for him

>"Of course, my Diam-" Pink tapped his lips to silence him and rested her forehead against his vibrant gem.
>"Do me a favor, Steven. Just for tonight, I want you to call me Rose, understand?"
>Without a hint of hesitation, Steven nodded frantically.
>"Good boy~" Pink's thumb slipped away as her lips firmly took its place.
>Steven's heart pounded in his ears. He was utterly paralyzed.
>Steven had kissed before, of course. Numerious pecks exchanged with Connie and even a few sloppy makeouts had given him the gist of what to do in a kiss.
>But nothing could have prepared him for this. Pink was his mentor, of sorts; his leader to fight and die for when the time came. Even in private life, he'd never seen her in such a light.
>A big sister at times, sure. Someone to torment him one moment and show him a neat ability his gem was capable of the next.
>This was different- completely different. He knew deep within this was wrong on many fronts.
>He thought of how he was being unfaithful to Connie, remembering how she warned him of the diamond's 'red flags', as 'Rose' laid him back into his bed.
>He thought of how he was disappointing his father, sleeping with the woman he most feared around his son, as she made short work of his PJ's.
>He thought of how he was disgracing the honor of his mother's title, violating the sacred bond between Diamond and guardian, as she straddled his hips and slipped out of her favorite cropped hoodie.
>"Never been this far before, huh~?" Pink's words carried a smug satisfaction as the bare-chested gem ground her hips with astute precision against Steven's.
>He fought to keep his eyes from hers, earning a bemused snort as she guided his face by his chin.
>So much like his father the first time she'd coerced him into bed.
>Though, there was something so much more to Steven's bewildered gaze. That innocence- something between fear and overwhelming desire- it was like forbidden fruit. And she wanted a taste.

As the OP of this thread I am fucking glad I made it because I'm on the edge of my seat and I woke up just 10 minutes ago

I was sort of trying to imply that his affection and high opinion of her was derrived mostly from his innate subordination. Probably could have done a whole lot better conveying that though.
If I ever compile this into a hard fic, I'll be sure to make that a little more clear

That boy is gonna have so many issues

Now that's the good stuff

Sorry in advance for namefagging, just thought it'd help keep things organized in case anyone else wanted to contribute to the narrative.
>Greg sat up with a groan and glanced at his blaring alarm clock
>7:43am. Monday. Steven had school in 20 minutes.
>"Son of a bitch," he grumbled, throwing on some clothes.
>A dull but incessant banging had kept him from deep sleep through most of the night. It was unmistakable.
>Why the hell Pink felt the need to bring some frat boy back to the house was beyond him.
>Perhaps some vindictive attempt at making him jealous. The thought made him chuckle.
>There'd be absolute hell to pay, however, if he found she'd kept Steven up with her childish revenge plot.
>Greg knocked twice on his bedroom door, entering after a few moments of silence.
>"Huh, not here." He shut the door behind him and went to the kitchen, reasoning that he must be eating breakfast.
>Amythest stood in front of the stove, hair tied back in a loose ponytail, mixing pancake batter as he entered.
>She greeted him with a warm smile and nodded to a picturesque plate of breakfast food at his favorite spot on the island.
>"Pancakes'll be up in just a sec. Have some coffee, you look like hell."
>Greg eased into his favorite chair. He didn't even need to taste the coffee to know she'd gotten it perfect.
>Beside it was today's issue of the post and his obligations for the day jotted neatly on notebook paper that he'd merely mentioned to her in passing the day before.
>"Did steven make it to-"
>"Packed his lunch and dropped him off thirty minutes ago. Seemed pretty out of it but he said he was fine. Told the nurse to call me if he comes down." She skillfully caught an airborne flapjack in a waiting skillet.
>Son of a bitch, of course Pink kept him up; his room was right next to her's. If that spoiled brat thought she could interfere with Steven's sleep, he had another thing-
>The soft clatter of a plate beside him shook Greg from his stewing.

Fuccckkkk man you know how to end each post on a cliffhanger

Oh dear

>amethyst is a loving soccer mom
F-fuck

Is Gregthyst the Grearl ship of this AU?

What the fuck is Pink's problem?

Well, this Pink Diamond led the rebellion herself. Only, it wasn't a rebellion. She just split her court from the authority.

That's a different dynamic, different character really.

It is now baby
Imagine if you will, a toddler with a god complex, but they actually have god powers

>Rose ends up finding them fused and goes absolutely ballistic.
IT'S OVER, IS IT?

>The rest of the CG are torn because of this and there's ACTUAL drama in Steven Universe now
Honestly, this Garnet probably isn't on team Rose. Hell, Garnet hasn't been on team Rose since she learned about her deception.

>One day Garnet starts browsing possible futures to make sure Rose and Greg don't kill each other and sees that, no matter what, at the exact same moment everything just fucking goes dark
This Rose would just make the Cluster fuck the Earth even harder.

This AU is pure crack, but that's part of the fun

The idea was that she didn't want to be Rose's slave anymore and chose death by murdercock

Some drawfag needs to get on this.

>"Eat up. I saw those whiskey bottles in the trash, dude. You can't drink all your meals."
>Greg's vibrato over his coming confrontation with Pink was significantly humbled by the short purple gem. She had that way about her.
>Even by gem standards, Amythest was super-human.
>Ever since Pearl passed away and Garnet took a construction job to help pay the bills, Amythest had ambitiously taken up the mantel of homemaking.
>The house was never too shabby before, but Amythest had seemingly taken it upon herself to make each and every room something straight out of Better Homes and Gardens.
>Though Greg used to fend for Steven and himself when it came to meals, she had gently urged the two out of "her kitchen," turning simple scambled eggs and pasta dishes at odd hours into elegant feasts served thrice daily.
>Her attention to Steven steadily grew with her other feats of domestic magic, eventually turning her into a sort of defacto mother for the young hybrid.
>She organized birthday parties, patched wounds, packed lunches, attended school meetings, helped with homework (though Greg usually handled history and English), and tucked him in until he finally worked up the courage to tell her that, perhaps, thirteen was a little old to be read to sleep.
>With her management of the household came a great deal of authority. Under the Universe roof, Amythest's word was, more often than not, gospel.
>Even the notoriously difficult diamond would reluctantly back down when Amythest struck an authoritative enough tone.
>Greg's drinking habits were one of her many grievances and one that had taken precedent since beer cans had turned to liquor bottles.
>"You have a doctor's appointment at noon." Amythest noted, setting a bottle of syrup beside the steaming plate of pancakes.
>Greg cocked a brow. "I didn't schedule a doctor's appointment."
>"I'm well aware. That's why I called them."
>"You can't just... ugh, fine. But I'm not going on Prozac again."

Okay thread...

Personally, I imagine Pearl's kid being a mousey boy who's obsessed with old books and exploring spooky ruins. As an adult he'd be a professor type with a habit of running off to excavation sites. No doubt getting into trouble when some ancient gem tech malfunctions or a monster gets freed from some sunken tomb. He's not exactly a ballerina sword fighter, but he was quite the star gymnast and he's adept at judo. He uses his gem as a torch and often makes decoys to discombobulate pursuit.

Attached: 1552602924713.jpg (443x440, 23K)

Well now let me revise my previous statement
>Amethyst is a loving soccer mom that is superior to Pearl in every way
F-FUCK!!

Attached: 1568766900752.jpg (408x408, 35K)

So Dipper but cool

Yeah, with a Victorian slant. He's an expert in his own field. Where others delve into Egyptian pyramids or dig up dinosaurs, he locates gem ruins and catalogues their contents.

These are all good ideas but kinda fall apart when you remember the Gem mother doesn’t pass down personality, all of the Canon’s Steven’s traits come from having Greg as a father.

Greg is different in this AU too, as was Steven's upbringing

Eh, that's debatable.

But I imagine Pearl would date someone who shared her interests.

How is, Dipper but cool, at all like Pearl?

god damn my nigga, you know how to write a story

Attached: 830djOish3.jpg (376x302, 13K)

>Amythest busied herself at the sink scrubbing away at a particularly stubborn bit of batter in a cast iron pan.
>"Nobody's gonna force you to do anything, Greg; you're a big boy, you can make your own decisions."
>"Not my own appointments, apparently." He muttered over the rim of his Talking Heads mug.
>Amythest's shoulder's shook with a laugh as she neatly filed the last of the sparkling cutlery away in a drawer. "Be honest with yourself, man: you would have never called if I didn't."
>It was true, of course. Greg hadn't seen the therapist Pearl had set him up with in years, and stopped filling his perscriptions soon after.
>It was of little surprise that his mental health fell by the wayside shortly after Pearl's passing.
>Some days, if it weren't for Steven, he's not sure he'd be willing to hold on anymore.
>Shit, why would he? What's he really got without his son anymore?
>He could just drink until he goes to sleep. Repeat that until he doesn't wake up again. No more hangovers, at least.
>At least if he was dead, Pink might get bored and fuck off to some other God-forsaken rock.
>Let the Gempire have Earth, for all he cares. Let them destroy this whole planet.
>Fuck this planet- fuck the universe. Let a big, dark cloud strangle all life in this joke of a-
>Two stout arms wrap around his chest and, for the moment, chase away that big, dark cloud.
>"Look," Amythest rests her head on his shoulder, squeezing Greg to her chest. That girl could cure anything with those damn hugs of hers.
>"You're going to go in there and he's gonna tell you a bunch of stuff I know you don't give a fuck about. He's gonna say that you're drinking too much and that you're underweight and that you need to quit smoking- forget about it."
>Amythest hopped up and sat on the counter to meet him eye-to-eye. "I meant what I said: no one is going to make you do anything. You're going to walk in there and do whatever you want. But I want you to remember Steven."

God damn it Amethyst, stop being so wholesome and shit, why the fuck am i sweating from my eyes?

Fuck I want this Amethyst in my life

Forgot to say .cont, sorry lol

>Two stout arms wrap around his chest
for a split second I thought this was gonna be Rose and I so wanted Greg to just deck her

Rose is still in her pink diamond form (though human-sized i assume) in this AU. she does deserve to get decked though

Well, considering how she acted in life, she would have done everything to keep the charade intact.

Rose is a weird character because she seem both apathetic and empathic at the same time.
>Like Pearl saying Rose loved all life in the planet but then you see a flashback where she doesn't give a fuck about a baby climbing a ferris wheel.

What I can gather is that she was charismatic, passionate but kind of dumb and apathetic about the feelings of others. Kind of like Peridot making jokes at Amethyst expense while thinking she would have found it funny, but on a bigger scale.

Dammit now I'm hook.

What if Greg MURDERCOCKED Garnet instead?

m.fanfiction.net/s/13253213/1/Unforseen-Circumstances-by-EndGamer

Maybe because Steven kind hearten nature would fit in the body of Pink Diamond?

This doesn't sound like Rose at all, sure Pink was a spoiled brat, but Rose had a character arc before dying. She still was a pathological liar, didn't considered others feelings and was condescending to humans but she wasn't as bad as when she was known as Pink.

She was still a flawed person but not the same flawed person she was before the war.

Read
The Diamonds are just probably humoring her at the moment, she has full reign to be the horrible person she is and even more so due to the situation

I'll take this into consideration going forward, thanks for pointing that out.
I'm trying to avoid writing her as an straight villain, more just a selfish person who often hurts people when trying to get what she wants because she doesn't consider the consequences of her actions

I mean most of this stuff is golden the way it is, I would include some moments of clarity for Rose when she actually takes another person's feelings into account, from what it seems she's still an extremely insecure person and Greg is a catalyst for that insecurity which is why he's the biggest source of her tantrums.

Mom Amethyst is Best Amethyst

>I'm trying to avoid writing her as an straight villain
Uhhh, isn't she raping Steven?

*trying and failing

>The vial of little yellow happy pills rattled in the cupholder of Greg's similarly colored Datsun hatchback.
>The tattered leather interior reeked of Winston Reds, the very sort Doctor Hartman had just finished lecturing him on two hours earlier.
>Cool autumn wind blew through Greg's long brown hair as he cruised down the winding cliffside road towards Beach City high school.
>Autumn was always particularly difficult for him. He reasoned he'd just take the stupid meds through November. If he could just make it through fall, he could knock em off around the first of December and be his old self by Christmas. Simple enough.
>The Allman Brothers played boisterously off his ancient tapedeck.
>It was a mixtape someone made for him ages ago, though he couldn't remember who.
>Glancing down at his watch, he noticed he was going to be a bit early, something he dreaded when picking up his son.
>As he pulled the brightly colored car in between a pair of expensive-looking SUV's, Greg wondered if he made a mistake in declining Amythest's offer to pick Steven up for him.
>He wanted to see his son as soon as he could, of course. It was navigating the crowd of waiting parents that got under his skin.
>Unshaven, in his faded carhart jacket, ratty blue jeans, and old converse sneakers that looked more like clown shoes on his massive feet, Greg fit the description of about 20 wanted posters across the state of Maryland.
>Were it not for his lingering notoriety as some washed up musician, he likely would have left every attempt to pick up Steven in handcuffs.
>He remembered with dull envy the few times Amythest had accompanied him to the school; how easily she bullshitted with this mass of dough-eyed, pearl-clutching socialites.
>One couple had been so taken by her charms, they'd invited the two to dinner; making sure to add that they were "so inspired" by their "courage to marry across species."

>Greg remembered with mild amusement how quickly he had to lead his "wife" away from the milquetoast pair so she could burst into peals of tearful laughter.
>Now, out to the side of the chatty crowd, it occured to him how strange it was that a 4 foot tall purple girl from space blended in with these people better than some aging beatnik. Was he really that strange?
>His thoughts were interrupted by the final bell. Freshmen students spilled out from the double doors, practically arcing with youthful energy and vigor.
>Save for one lanky boy, slumped under his overloaded backpack.
>The dark-skinned girl beside him offered a hug and he reluctantly accepted, continuing on his way with no change in his expression.
>"Hey, Stevie." Greg offered a meek smile as he tussled the boy's hair.
>"Uh, hey, dad." He looked absolutely exhausted. Greg made a mental note to throw Pink off the nearest pier as soon as he could.
>The two rode home in relative silence, save for the mixtape rolling on.
>The Smiths were playing now, some somber piece Greg couldn't quite remember the name of.
>He switched to some generic sports station as the lyrics began to dredge up painful memories.

Damn Steven

I made a Steven edit for this AU to make him look less... uhh, Rosy. More so he looks like Pearl's son.

>"Amy, we're home!" Greg called into the house, hanging their Jackets on hooks by the front door.
>The purple gem gave Greg a hug and a quick smile as she heard the pills rattle in his front pocket.
>"Stevie, hon, you doin' okay?" her attention immediately snapped to the unusually stone-faced boy. Her hands went to his cheeks and forehead, feeling around for a temperature.
>"Geez, Amythest, I'm fine. Really." It was the same line he'd given her that morning and it was no more convincing than before.
>She sighed, electing, as Garnet often suggested, to 'Give the boy some space.'
>"Alright, alright, nurse Amythest has left the building. Now, who's hungry?" She clapped her hands together, her warm smile managing to lift the somewhat somber mood in the room.
>Greg and Steven sat down at the kitchen island, Amythest doling out an unbelievable spread of fruits, finger sandwiches, and home-baked snacks.
>She never ceased to utterly blow Greg away.
>Greg and Amythest talked about his visit to the doctor over the the after-school snack, asking Steven a few questions about school here and there.
>He was smiling a bit more now, sitting with two people who loved him to pieces and couldn't help but show it.
>Greg even got a few laughs out of him with a story of his mechanic somehow getting his stuck in his the trunk of his Datsun while wiring up a new brake light.
>"-See, the problem was, mitch couldn't get his fat ass-"
>"Greg, language!" Amythest chided, muffling a giggle behind her hand while Steven practically fell out of his chair.
>"Don't go saying that stuff around school, kiddo. You get me in trouble with Amy enough as is!"
>The mood around the table consistently rose and spiked further when Garnet came through the front door absolutely covered in concrete.
>"It was the driver's first- and last- day on the job." The fusion struggled to keep her tone even as the infectious laughter from around the table caught her as well. "N-Need a... Shower."

I'd even take it a step further and say that Rose really did care about the feelings of others, she was just EXTREMELY sheltered and didn't understand the impact her actions had on others. It doesn't help that, even on Earth, she was surrounded by gems who treated her like a goddess.

That's part of why she fell in love with Greg. He treated her like an equal and gave her an unfiltered view of human morality.

I like it but he’s still a little too thicc

This is absolutely perfect user, good stuff

Well remember, Greg's a bit of a unit too. Rose wasn't Pearl-thin obviously but you know, the first time we saw her not in a photo she was heavily pregnant.
Thanks!!

Oh God it's coming and it's coming hard I just know it
I'm not ready Pinkanon

She's grooming him, that basically blows her past morally bankrupt and into irredeemable evil.

I thought she had sex with him though?

Yeah, fuck this family if they don't punt Rose into space. They're already shitty for letting Rose anywhere near him while his coding is intact.

>It was after supper and Greg had settled into his recliner with a glass of whiskey drowned, at Amythest's insistence, in water.
>He swirled ice in the weak drink while absentmindedly watching a documentary on some band he'd never heard of.
>Amythest was down the hall, helping Steven with his biology homework- no doubt ready to phone the school in the morning over his textbook's insistence that gemstones are not considered sentient life.
>Garnet was on her phone watching an MMA fight intently. She'd taken a liking to the human bloodsport for whatever reason and seldom missed a big-name match.
>Pink was... who knows where? Greg couldn't be happier about that.
>Part of him, the vast majority of him in fact, hoped she'd just stay gone for good.
>But he knows, just like each and every time, she would come bursting through that door like a physical manifestation of every throbbing headache he's ever had.
>As if on cue, the door opened and closed again.
>That familiar, deceptively soft voice called out to every occupant in the house.
>"Good evening, everyone~!" Greg kept his tone as even as possible while his grip threatened to shatter the glass he held.
>"Pink. Living room. Now."
>She tossed her fittingly Pink backpack onto the couch as she entered the living room, arms folded and eyes narrowed at the one man who would DARE raise his voice to her.
>She smiled sweetly, in spite of her seething anger, her words like cyanide capsules dipped in milk chocolate.
>"What's up, daddy?"
>"Thought I told you to quit calling me that." Greg shot back as he stood.
>Pink smirked, eyes daring him to say just what she thought he would.
>To her surprise, however, his accusations were a mile off.
>Greg lowered his voice to a tense whisper, eyes narrowed "Next time you decide to go fuck some lowlife, you take it elsewhere. I don't give a damn what kind of royalty you are, Pink, you don't fuck with my son. You understand me?"

I probably completely flubbed up explaining myself.
I'm aiming to make her a more believable evil, rather than some archetypal villain.
In no way am I trying to justify her assaulting Steven, I can see how it could appear that way

Oh can’t wait for Greg to find out

im not ready user

Attached: Photo Jul 06, 1 13 37 PM.jpg (607x777, 61K)

>I'm aiming to make her a more believable evil
You're fucking succeeding, lol. Too real bro, too real.

>pearl has a kid with greg
cringe

How would they get rid of her?

Would greg convince her to let him murdercock her and turn into a baby once the consequences of her actions start catching up to her and she wants to run away for good?

Would Steven have broken through his programming by this time and have decided that even though they have no ill will to their new sibling and infact love them, that he's going to keep some distance between them and head off to college to study archeology and become the foremost expert on ancient gem ruins and technology in the world

>that he's going to keep some distance between them and head off to college to study archeology and become the foremost expert on ancient gem ruins and technology in the world
Oh no, that was my idea for Pearl's son she had with some intellectual during Victorian times. This Steven is fucked. Constant abuse in the home like this causes serious problems in adult life.

Well other victims don't have perfect alien space moms and a dad to be their for them, so he might turn out better than most

Punished Steven, a man denied his parental figure

Trust issues, yes
Extreme dislike of authority figures, yes

But even in another universe this is still Steven universe and he WILL persevere, he's not a lost cause but he probably won't start to get his life together until he moves away from beach city and starts surviving on his own

Remember it is canon only diamonds can have children like Steven so are of this doesn’t align with the in universe lore

>what is an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE
Retard

I like to think that after the war, Pink lost her fucking mind since the PTSD of witnessing millions of her friends getting corrupted. After her closest of friends decided to murdercock herself, she went fucking insane and mentally deteriorated into a child.

That's the only explanation for this version of Pink. Even her pre-war self wouldn't have been this vicious, at worst get bored and literally fuck off, but not fuck a kid to get vengeance against the guy who killed her guardian.

Attached: maxresdefault-1.jpg (1280x720, 82K)

That doesn't make sense desu because she purposefully tricked Spinel long before the war

This is the doomed timeline, in the actual show Garnet saw this as a possibility and kept Pearl from meeting Greg before Rose

Everyone is super ooc in this.

>Amythest could feel Steven's shoulder tense under her hand. As Pink's noisy greeting broke the house's relative silence.
>"I should get her bag." Steven made a move to stand but was gently held in place.
>"She's a couple thousand years old, Stevie. She can handle her own bags." The tension in his back diminished somewhat, but refused to completely disappate.
>Amythest returned his attention to the math problem at hand, trying to drown out the soft confrontation in the living room while also listening in.
>At least Garnet was home. The last thing she wanted was Greg going through another window.
>"-This isn't your kingdom, you delusional little brat!"
>Amythest pecked Steven's forehead, giving a quick "be right back" before heading for the living room.
>Pink wore a smug expression, arms folded and leaned onto her right leg.
>Greg, on the other had his teeth grit in frustration, his hard fists shaking with anger.
>Garnet stood between the two, a hand on Greg's chest and her free arm keeping Pink at bay.
>"Hey, hey, everyone relax for a second!" All eyes suddenly turned to Amythest, the family peacemaker.
>"You" she pointed to Pink and then towards the back porch "Wait outside."
>Pink scoffed, but followed the instruction. "Your boyfriend started it," she muttered under her breath.
>Greg opened his mouth to speak, but thought better of it as Amethyst snapped her fingers. "Not a word, Greg."
>Amythest finally spoke again as the back door slammed shut. "Greg, I want you to go help Steven with his homework, okay? He's got a paper due on the industrial revolution and I'm still trying to figure out how you monkeys managed to get fire."
>Greg chuckled, giving Amythest a hug and an earnest "thank you" before setting off to Steven's room.

>That doesn't make sense desu because she purposefully tricked Spinel long before the war
Oh for the love of god. Clearly she didn't plan on stranding her for 6000 years. She went to Earth and then things quickly went to hell.

What indicated that she was ever planning to come back for her?

Yeah, let's go with this one. It makes my incoherent ramblings kind of make sense

Attached: 1563890268087.png (561x524, 283K)

inb4 its revealed that Amethyst doesn't actually like being a housewife but does it because she must.

Attached: fdre.png (485x472, 151K)

What indicated her intention for Spinel to obsessively stand at attention for 6000 years? She believed in the capacity for change in everyone. She probably assumed Spinel moved on long ago. She was wrong, but there was no malice behind her inaction.

>Pink lay across the back deck railing, staring up at the moon.
>She'd laid out the simplest plan imaginable and still Greg Universe had managed to flub his part in it.
>Her moment had passed, surely. The explosive confrontation where it'd hit the drunk bastard hardest had come and gone. She wasn't sure if she'd ever get another opportunity to get even in the way she so rightfully deserved.
>The door opened and shut behind her, cutting off her train of thoughts. She already knew who was standing there.
>I'm going to ask you something," Amythest began, her voice lacking any anger. How boring. "It might piss you off, but I need you to be straight with me here."
>Pink kept her face turned towards the moon and shrugged "Shoot."
>"Pink... What is wrong with you?"
>This caught Pink a bit off guard. Didn't she want to know what Greg had gotten so upset about? Or what he should have?
>Her line of questioning earned Pink's full attention as she spun on the railing to face her.
>"What do you mean?" Pink asked, in a seldom-heard genuine voice.
>Amythest sighed and rubbed her eyes. For a hard light construct that never needed sleep, she was feeling pretty exhausted right now.
>"Why... Why can't you leave Greg alone? Why do you constantly challenge him and push his buttons and... and why do you force him to mate with you, Pink? Do you really think we don't notice? He doesn't like being with you- he doesn't like YOU! And why would he?" her voice has raised considerably, but she finds herself unable to stop. "All he does is try to make you feel welcome here! He trusts you with his own son, Pink! Steven is the only reason he's still alive! And you treat that poor kid like he's a fucking ragdoll!"
>Tears are streaming down her cheeks now. Years of patching up his cuts and scrapes, years of kissing his bruises and drying his eyes and taking him in out of the snow to warm up. Every runny nose, every high fever that she feared was the end; none of it mattered to Pink.

I want to falcon kick her right in the peach coochie.

I think this artwork was made long before we knew how truly awful Pink/Rose was, but it still fits

>She wasn't sure if she'd ever get another opportunity to get even in the way she so rightfully deserved.
You can run on for a long time.

Here’s my autistic attempt at drawing Mom Amethyst in the middle of work. The proportions are borked but I was more focused on the outfit honestly.

>Amythest glared at the emotionless face looking back at her, her mind racing.
>She wanted to shatter Pink right then and there.
>She didn't care for the fate of her so-called "Rebellion-" for fuck's sake, she'd lead it herself if she had to.
>They didn't need this psychopath and, certainly, neither did Steven.
>She prepared to summon. The odds were completely against her, but she had no choice. It was Pink or Steven. She'd go with her, if that's what it took.
>"Like father, like son." Pink said flatly.
>Amythest's hand stopped short of her weapon, teary eyes narrowed with confusion. "W-What did you say?..."
>Those rosy pink lips curled up into a fucking smile. A real, genuine smile. As if she'd told a joke and was waiting for Amythest to get it.
>"Like father, like son; Greg and Steven, I mean. Thought you'd like to know that, since you're so interested in them."
>"Pink, are you saying..." A high-pitched ringing inside her head drowned out her own words as she made sense of what she had been told.
>'No.' Her vetoed her very presence there.
>'Steven.' She wordlessly turned from the still-grinning diamond and entered the house.
>"Steven, Greg, pack bags. Now."
>Her body felt like it was moving on a track as she gathered up a few essentials.
>"Amy, what's going-"
>"Get your bags, Greg. Help Steven pack."
>He shot a glance at Pink, still smiling on the back porch, but heeded Amythest's words.
>The short gem tossed the trio's bags into the back of Greg's hatchback, telling Garnet to ensure that Pink didn't follow them.
>She directed Greg onto the highway, answering his questions sparsely, instead intently focused on Steven.
>At 15, he was old enough to know what was happening; to know that he was the reason that Amythest rushed them out of Beach city.
>"I'm sorry." He choked out, tears overflowing as his eyes watched the moon.
>"Greg, stop here." Amythest motioned to a hotel just off the highway.

Nearing the end here, but on a related note, I really want to do more stuff with Mommathest in a non-horriblyfuckingtragic setting, probably in a seperate fic. Any ideas on how to make her character make sense without the presence of pink diamond?

Additional side note: sorry if this whole thing got super goddamn dark. I took a left turn halfway through this whole thing and had no way to turn it around. I promise my stuff is usually light and fluffy and not a depraved nightmare involving rape and trauma

Attached: 1526410249240.png (1058x1414, 545K)

Eh, I like stuff with a bit of dark too it.

How about you swap the ages of Amethyst and Pearl? Pearl becomes the last Gem produced by a Kindergarten on Earth, while Amethyst dealt with being ostracized for being overcooked on Homeworld. Pearl is still obsessed with Rose because she was the first person she saw upon leaving her whole, but she knows nothing about the Pink Diamond stuff and is significantly more naive. Amethyst does know, having been the one to help Pink fake her death, but she isn’t completely tight lipped about it like Pearl was in canon.

It's okay, it's bad now but as long as Steven gets through it (and pink is eventually shattered) it'll all be good

Just have Pearl peace out for a spell, she was really shook up by Rose's death. Have her helping Greg raise Steven from a baby and she'd do some growing up emotionally. Taking care of a baby ages people, or it should lol.

It pissed me off, but in a good way.

>and pink is eventually shattered
I want Bismuth to kill her gently with a rusty breaking point.

Who would Pearl date from human history? Who could get to her like Greg got to Rose?

>Amethyst laid behind Steven on the thankfully freshly washed sheets of the hotel bed.
>She sang softly a lullaby from his infancy. She remembered the day the little eight year old looked up to her with furrowed brows and said "Momma, that song's for babies! I'm not a baby anymore!"
>It was a pivotal moment in her existence and with it came a lesson: Steven was growing up.
>She would not be able to protect him from the harsh dangers of the world forever, no matter how desperately she tried.
>Amythest swallowed back tears and buried her face in his neck.
>She remembered the day he first began calling her by her name; "a sign of respect," Garnet had told him, "for a superior."
>She could have thrown Garnet in the ocean at that very moment. But the damage was done, it could not be changed. She was no longer "Momma" to the boy she considered her own. She was Amythest.
>These were changes she had prepared for, changes she could come to accept.
>She knew of further changes coming down the line: his first love, his first heartbreak, learning to drive, graduating high school, college, marriage. And when he came to pass, eventually, she would shatter herself as well. She was ready for all of it.
>She was not ready for this.
>Steven stirred gently in his sleep, his mumbling becoming somewhat distressed.
>She was ready for this.
>Amythest drew her arms around him and squeezed as her tears stained the back of his shirt.
>He was still once again.
>His breathing slowed into its methodic pattern.
>And for a little while longer, he could be away from all of this.
>She could protect him just a bit longer.

During one of the great human wars, she intervened to save a young Austrian soldier who was running messages across a battlefield. Though she didn't feel about him as strongly as she did about Rose, she admired his passion, determination, and leadership... although she never managed to convince him to shave that silly mustache.

Fuck you, I'm writing this next

Jeez

>One day Steven comes running into the temple looking concerned, "Pearl, Peaaaarl!"
>Pearl, who was organizing the pantry which was recently raided by Amethyst replied, "What is it Steven?"
>"I heard some people on the pier discussing the diamonds and comparing them to some guy named Hitler, he sounded pretty important so I figured you'd know about it."
>Pearl freezes and drops a box of cereal on the floor, "uuuuuhhhh maybe ask Garnet about that one Steven, I'm uh, VERY BUSY, as you can see."
>Pearl starts nervously picking spilled cereal off the floor
>"Ok, I'll just wait right here until she gets back from the mission"

Joan of Arc, has a great story but it works better for Pearl if the person is female.

She's a spoiled brat has to deal with the death of the closest thing she has to a friend, with no one to talk to or console. Imagine the worst parts of Amethyst taken to their logical extreme.

I was not, though if you find them worthy of preservation, I'm incredibly flattered. This a particularly rough piece in content and presentation

If you don't plan on working on it in the future, it should be preserved so either another user or even myself can work on it in the future and make it into something more, even now you've set up a really juicy drama, and it's one that should be seen to a greater end then just this thread.

Okay, what about King Tamar? She had an elite circle of knights who kicked ass in the region during her reign. She defeated a coup attempt by her husband and rode out with her armies on a few occasions.

This is the one thing that bothers me of Pearl's character progression. For the longest time the show presented her as this renegade Pearl that fell in love with Rose, broke her shackles and became a warrior on her own volition.
But is revealed that she never stooped being a slave to Rose, even if Rose didn't want to, Pearl couldn't stop serving her.

The thing being even after all the thing that happened in the series, Pearl never got her breakthrough moment, she never broke from her role as the servant and assested herself outside or Rose's orbit, and never got to a point where she became what she was pretending to be.

Sure Rose is dead is not like she can revive her and tell her to fuck off, but something else could have happened, maybe another Diamond gives her an order and she managed to ignore by pure force of will or something as simple as grounding Steven and acting like a real mom instead of a nanny. anything would have worked really.

Attached: 1568929177694.png (780x412, 141K)

Don't know about you. But I love the idea of trap PD steven

>"Still asleep?" Greg inquired quietly as he entered the room.
>Amythest nodded, not an inch removed from her place behind Steven.
>Greg lowered himself onto the bed and touched his son's hand. His eyes met Amythest's and she knew she could dely this no longer.
>"What did she do to Steven, Amy?"
>She knew once she told him, that would be that: he wouldn't rest until Pink wss shattered or he was dead.
>Every scenerio she ran through in her mind ended with Steven fatherless. She couldn't allow that.
>"Greg, you've been doing everything I ask you to, and when I tell you this, you need to keep doing that, okay?" Amythest whispered, her eyes held pleadingly on his. "For Steven."
>Greg braced himself momentarily and gave a slow nod.
>Amythest looked back to the boy in her arms and once more pulled him close.
>Tears of anger, frustration, sorrow, and exhaustion streamed down her cheeks.
>She knew the human words for what had happened to Steven, but she had no idea how to say them. It wasn't something she had prepared herself for.
>After several false starts, Amythest finally settled on the right words.
>"She raped him, Greg..." The words hurt to say even more than she imagined they would. She pulled her baby just a bit closer and awaited the inevitable.
>Nothing. No shouting, no screams, no attempt to storm out and find Pink; nothing she had envisioned.
>Amethyst slowly opened her eyes only to find Greg holding his head in his hands.
>"Greg..."
>He straightened up, but didn't say a word, moving to kneel in front of his son's face.
>his rough hand rests on the boy's cheek, brushing a stray locke of hair with his thumb.
>the pair sat in silence, trying in vain to heal what had been broken in their boy.
>"What are you thinking?" Amythest asked quietly after several minutes of absolute silence.
>Greg held his son's hand between his and closed his eyes. "What do we do, Amy?"

GIANT FEMBOY

But user, she IS the one who danced around Pink's last order by pulling Steven into her gem. Her son was in serious pain because of her silence, she couldn't let that continue. She had been wrestling with it head on for months if not years, but she couldn't beat it until Steven gave her an opening with the phone.

>Imagine if you will Steven 17 years old and living the dream with his family.
>But something is not quite right, unknown to everyone Steven feels worried.
>He Stared as a fat little kid who has grown into a tall young man, but little by little every time Steven looks at the mirror, he notices himself looking more like Pink Diamond.
>His bear doesn't grow, he is getting slimmer every day and he is almost his dad height.
>The idea is ridiculous, he is just having a grown spur, and he is eating better these days, those are rational explanations, he isn't his mom he proved that back in homeworld.
>But the thought still lingers in the back of Steven's mind. "Just because I'm not mom doesn't mean I'm not Pink Diamond, what if my powers are making me change into her form, heck what if this is how I´m is going to look as an adult".
>For now he gets out of the bathroom, but every once in a while Steven takes a closer look at his body, at his puffy hair and the position of his gem looking very closely hopping it never changes position.

True that, Imagine Pearl every episode she is covering her mouth is a moment where she is trying to spill the beans.
That must have been agonizing, she could have fixed a bunch of shit in a moment if she could have told the truth.

Nah man, he'd be the giant faggot. I'd be a normal sized one

That'd be one tall fluffy boi.

I think he'd just be a tall skinny lad, or just normal looking. Not the neckless meatball we know and love.

Damn

...Stevonnie would be one tall glass of lass in this scenario.

Well you could give him the dbsuper buu treatment if that's how you roll.
I'll stick to the cotton candy girly one

Kinda makes sense as is; she was the most affectionate towards Steven next to pearl, and without pearl around she'd kinda have to upgrade from big sis to mom

>Kevin gets redeemed not by the talk no jutsu, neither by friendship but for the mighty power of same fetish talking with steven all day about giant women

He got a little braggy at the beginning of the movie, so yeah smug.

surprised by the amount of art of this, but pleased none the less.

Genuinely thinking Steven is going to look like Pink in the future, notice how the puffy hair is pretty much the same as his mom.

I wish dipper was real so he could read this post and get mad at it

I wish Dipper was real so I could sodomize him and murder him.

I fear boys we might need /x/ help again
Because I think evil rose just broke into our reality

We do live in worst timeline so whose to say we don't already have her here?

She could be any of us right now. She can possess anyone. She could be in your dreams tonight. She's like the Freddy Krueger of rape.

>the Freddy Krueger of rape.

didn't krueger rape some of his victims?

He was an assmad pedophile, so maybe.

Yeah but like, he wasn't dedicated to it. It was a side-gig to the dream murder.

Only the remake Freddy was a pedo, though Freddy did try to rape Lori in Freddy vs Jason.

would evil rose murder me before or after the rape?

She'd ask evil Garnet to give her future vision and do both.

how evil is evil garnet?
wait h

I don't get what all the fuss over pink Steven is about, pink's diamond form isn't that hot to begin with. Is this just gay femboy fetishists spilling out of their closets again?

Forced feminization is a fetish, yes

Evil Garnet is a war machine. No really, her entire reality is threat detection and neutralization. During the war she got locked into soothsayer battle frenzy, kinda like in Arcade Mania. The timeline death leading up to the corruption bomb basically locked her into that state. She studies any new person for anomalous timelines, if they ever act hostile, even if it's in some exceedingly unlikely little trickle of a creek, she'll punch them until they're not relevant anymore. I heard if you even so much as shitpost about her on Yea Forums she'll hunt you down and

i used to have a dumb one where i headcannoned that greg had served in some war and seen some shit, i based this off of how he talks about rose's past and the gem war, and how andy reacted when he saw him again
its retarded but i had to get it off my chest

>no gem/human war to spice up the past
feels bad man

i mean, it was just envisioning a regular war, really. i always needed some kind of reason as to why there was a surprisingly grounded and sane person in a show where everyone acts mental half the time.

i hope this thread is still here in the morning.

I miss the traumatized war vet vibes season 1 Garnet gave off

If not I'll post a new one, I just finished setting up the first pastebin
pastebin.com/jSBXhz6x

It's this >didn't understand the impact her actions had on others.
Garnet was right when she said that Rose felt real love for her gems, and real sorrow when they were hurt. The evidence is that when Rose actually understood harm was being done, she empathized, but she was often clueless about the harm she might be doing to others, especially harm that was emotional rather than physical.

The fact she had to use a loophole defeats the whole defiance through willpower idea. Kinda makes her seem like a robot without true free will, forever stuck operating by the three laws

>a manipulative abuser like she always was.

Fuck you.

cope

Take my advice and store it somewhere.
You'd better have it and not need it...

"What a shame we have no agency or brains of our own"
"Yeah, sure sucks to be a thoughtless drone but what can you do"

Isn't that just Nora?

>You, sodomizing and murdering Dipper

Yeah, good luck with that.

During, of course. She would probably suffocate you with her breasts.

One of the key themes of the show is whats done is done, rose is dead and pearl can now never become more then just her servant, because she ultimately served her faithfully forever. That's kind of neat, to be pushed by your superior to be more yourself and become your own person, but the only reason Pearl is doing it is to do exactly what PD is asking. Pretty much the entirety of Pearl becoming an independent person only happened after/because PD died, but she can't go back and challenge/defy her for any sort of poetic end.

Also it would just be pathetic of her to try to exert authority on Steven to overcome rose or for the show to imply that at all.

YOU cope with whatever warps your mind to view incompetence, lack of experience in ANYTHING and a lack of choices in a desparate situation as "manipulation and abuse".

She was no warrior. She was barely a figurehead. She may never have been designed as a world conqueror, but strictly as a mascot, given how small she was. Or perhaps her small size was an indicator of her young age: diamonds do grow, after all.

So, after much pleading and whining and many temper tantrums, her elders give their baby sister a planet to cut her teeth on; an easy, soft planet which will offer no problem at all, and show her how dull colonization is so she can go back to her games and entertain her family.
No warfare, no corrosive atmosphere, no dust storms or dangerous wildlife; just smile and wave and the specialist gems will take care of everything. She wouldn't even have to set a single foot on the planet!
Their own limitations blinded them to the obvious: the Diamond of Passion would of course grow restless and, sooner or later, want to see what her planet was like in person. Her 'special' Pearl - another consolation gift after she broke her boring original one; a special, extra-strong, extra-resilient, extra-smart Pearl which could 'wrangle' the petulant and demanding Pink - unfortunately proved TOO adaptable and accomodating.
This toxic combination resulted in the least and most vulnerable of Diamonds being exposed to what turned out to be a lethal environment; Earth indeed has no poison or acid, like Venus, or 1000-mile-an-hour dust storms that can erode a Gem to nothingness, or towering local life forms that can crush a Gem by stepping on it; but it has a venom of the mind to protect itself - beauty.
Pink Diamond was conscripted; from invader, she became protector, press-ganged into service by a rock far older and stronger than herself: Earth.

From that moment on, she had no choice: she would protect the planet at any cost.

But what could she do? (cont.)

>just got done with the greentext

Attached: 77-774627_view-samegoogleiqdbsaucenao-1489973643633-just-to-suffer-metal-gear.jpg (880x806, 164K)

(...)

She had no armies or fleets at her command. Why would she need any? There was nothing on Earth that could defy even a simple Amethyst. She must have despaired - what was she to do? She was no warrior, she was a playful clown; she barely had any warriors at her disposal with just one functional Kindergarten that had just started production.

So she tried to convince her sisters to allow her to abandon Earth altogether, but they very understandably after all her whining for a Colony to start with told her to suck it up and carry it out until completion, thinking "That's the end of that. She won't want another colony for a couple millennia after this". Now what? Pronounce she did not want to turn Earth into a colony? Yellow and Blue would just sigh, send her to her room and finish the colony themselves. Perhaps they wouldn't... but she could not risk it.

So... she had to make it look like Earth was not worth it. She had to convince them Earth was toxic and unsuitable for colonization altogether... that it did something bad to Gems. She started a rebellion, and when that wasn't enough, she abandoned her own identity... staged her own murder, not intending to EVER go back.

But that only started things. Blue and Yellow did NOT turn their back on Earth, but proved determined to finish the colony and avenge their little sister. Maybe she could have turned the tide then by revealing she was still alive, and explaining she had done all of it to protect Earth.
It is not likely, however, that Blue and Yellow would have responded to it well. It was still her first colony, so there was no reason to assume Earth was anything special... only that Pink was not suited as a colonizer, which they already believed anyway. So... she could not risk it. She would have to stick it out to the bitter end. Everything else followed from this. (cont.)

(...)

When Bismuth wanted to start using murderous tactics out of spite and hate, which would at the very least create a schism in the Rebellion, she got rid of her and covered it up. She did not shatter her, but bubbled and stored her, presumably in the hopes she could be brought back one day. But what hope is there for a Gem that wants to shatter other Gems?

She did not foresee the ends to which the Diamonds would go. Maybe she did not know White Diamond that well... she was still very young, and had no experience outside of colonizing Earth. So when the Diamonds - or perhaps just White - decided to cut their losses and simply destroy any Gems left on Earth with their attack, all she could do was protect those Gems who were with her at the time with her shield... and after that, there was nothing left to do. The Diamonds left, having been convinced Earth was a toxic and dangerous planet; and all but five Gems on Earth had been turned into rabid, ravenous monsters. Imagine those first few years. Fifty centuries later, the Crystal Gems were still dealing with gem monsters almost daily. Back then it must have been an insane nightmare. Given at last some Gems may have been Lapis-type terraformers, that might account for the different shape of Earth's continents: a maddened, corrupt gem having a tantrum.

Finally, after five thousand years, things have died down a bit... and Earth is saved... and Rose Quartz oversees her life and concludes she isn't all that great. So she finds the very best man there is and creates something better than herself.

It's a popular hypothesis to say she was leaving him all her problems. But she wasn't aware of any problems. The Diamonds were gone and would not return to what, to them, was a hellhole. She had no idea the Cluster was gestating deep in the Earth's crust.

I still think Steven was born mainly so that Pearl could finally be free.

Nah, I feel like this is leading up to Steven growing sick of her shit and telling her off, despite how he would hate to do so. Normal Steven's main thing is how he's capable of change, so it should be the same here.

Rose also needed Greg to get through that character arc. He was the one to make her see that people weren't toys to throw away, but as equals that had feelings as well. Without him she would probably fall apart and regress to her old ways.

She didn't fall apart for 5000 years, she just never progressed. Likely she'd remain the well meaning but callous revolutionary she always was

>Sugilite vs Pink
I WANT IT
I NEED IT
I HAVE TO HAVE IT

What you do, is you get Garnet, and any other gem you can find and you shatter that smug pink fuck

To be fair, she also still had Pearl with her all that time though.

holy shit i need this to happy ending or i don't know what im gonna do

Oh that's FUCKED, but I totally believe that would be something she would do.

>It's summer time, he's at a barbeque with his boy, some friends, and the crystal gems.
>he reminds himself that he's safe. He's home.
>He looks over to his son who's in the middle of berating another boy for lighting the firework that sparked the sudden episode.
>Greg calms Steven down. It was an accident, how could he have known.
>He forces a smile and asks Pearl to watch over the boys for a minute.
>Greg locks himself in the bathroom, sits on the edge of the tub, and breaks down crying.

I don't know, user... are you taking the differences in history resulting from the differences in geography on board?

Would there even be a Soviet Union?

Attached: World map 2.png (4280x2408, 253K)

I assume ideology more than geography would lead to the development of communism and, eventually, the soviets.
I thought I'd heard somewhere that Sugar said the second world war never happened in SU, but I could be completely wrong.

>The fact she had to use a loophole defeats the whole defiance through willpower idea.
Pearl's fighting style is all about dancing around things.

not the user you're taking to, just wanted to throw this out there:
the soviets could still exist even if WWII never kicks off

I don't know, Pearl kind of inspired Rose. In a way it was Pearl's ingenuity that led the rebellion. It was her decision to fight as Rose's knight as well, at least it's implied she found an outside source of inspiration there. Rose also clearly loved Pearl, she just didn't know what to do with that love.

>Pink Diamond was conscripted; from invader, she became protector, press-ganged into service by a rock far older and stronger than herself: Earth.
I liked your rant user, you've got a flair for it.

They should help Jasper curbstomp her.

>he likes Rock music because the drums drown out the ringing in his ears that sound like shells whistling through frigid morning frost.
>he didn't watch fireworks with his boy because they sound so much like the front.

>Rose used to lie next to greg at night and soothe him through his nightmares
>After she died, he would go several nights at a time without sleep; passing out at odd hours into a restless nap filled with horrible memories.
>Pearl, begrudgingly at first, offered to watch over Greg as he slept
>they grow closer over time, seeing how similar their residual pain from combat is
>she tells him stories of the rebellion, he shows her scars across his legs and torso where bullets and shrapnel ripped through him
>they comfort each other through their tears, crying together at times
>pearl steadily moves from a chair beside his bed at night to the bed itself.
>eventually, after greg falls asleep, she finds herself holding him to her body, humming songs he's taught her and gently rubbing his back

>Isn't that just Nora?
No the idea is not that Steven is born female, is the concept that whatever male or female he would ultimate grow up to become a flesh color version of PInk, not because of some gem magic stuff but simply because thats how he would look like all grown up.

Greg and Steven wear punishment well. Probably because they're developed characters already.

The climate of Asia as well as the presence of an enormous inland sea would have more than profound effects on the development of the local cultures.

For one thing, in this scenario I do not think the Horse Nations in the north of Asia could exist; and a rich cultural and commercial exchange along the coast of the Tunguska Sea (that's what Sugar herself called it), similar to that along the coast of the Black or Mediterranean seas but on a larger scale could exist.

Without the Ghana empire, and without the Congo and quite possibly the Sahara, the sociology of Africa would be completely thrown.
Due to the shorter distance and the chain of islands between them, trade may well have existed between the south of Africa and South America before any European contact. Australia would probably not have any human population due to the much larger distance between it and Sotuh Asia, so the indigenous megafauna might well have survived.

With Japan so close to the mainland, any invasion would have been greatly accomodated; in fact no cultural separation might have occurred in the first place.

Oh, but Europe and North America are virtually unchanged... Although it seems Sweden is connecting to the north of Germany, and Florida is separated from the mainland.

Oh, and the land bridge between North and South America (which is also much larger) appears to be interrupted... an enormous jungle, or grass flats dominated by huge, flightless birds of prey?

>As if any number of ordinary Gems could defeat a Diamond

Jasper never faced Rose, and good for her, because it would have been a short battle.

Attached: Conversation on a battle field.png (635x1605, 1.76M)

Well that sucks, The thing is her character arc will never be complete until she left Rose behind. It doesn't have to be a fuck you or act like a jerk to Steven. But she just needs to let it go and be selfish for once.

Attached: 1569086877431.png (700x935, 194K)

I've never been quite so thoroughly defeated with facts and logic.
Unironically, you're quite versed on this stuff, I'n impressed

Ok the real question everyone is missing is, WHO THE FUCK THIS THIS TO EARTH?

The gems showed up during caveman times, earth pretty much looked the way it looks now by then.
Sure the giant hole in Asia could be something the gems did. But what about Oceania looking all weird, South America having a chunk of Africa or Japan being a peninsula?

Something must have happened before the gems came out for something like this to happen.
