>Donde la figura de un gran guerrero habia desaparecido.

>Que era sumamente orgulloso.

I thoroughly enjoy it when shows make you feel sympathy for the most unsympathetic characters. Eustace is a miserable asshole most of the time but that specific scene makes you feel for him. You get the sense that he's the way he is because of how he's been hurt in the past. Are there any more scenes like this in other Yea Forums media?

Would post Fry's dog Seymour but nah, that's too sad

Only one I can think of is Oral's dad from Moral Oral

m.youtube.com/watch?v=pv1MLfLSV7A

I legit thought he was going to die but I guess CN wouldn't be ok with that.

youtube.com/watch?v=IDUp2sAWreQ

Greg is best.

Seymour was sad but I particularly always thought this one was harder hitting

It’s not really what’s happening, I mean who gives a flying fuck, but the music and faces make this gut-wrenching.

Arnold has a lot of sad moments. For me it's, Weighing Harold
I was a somewhat fat kid that got bullied for it so the line "But I was so worried about people thinking I was fat that I ate more and more" really hit home

This is the first Futurama episode I watched. It's been with me since.

I... I need to call my brother, anons.

>Oscar Gold
pffft, Clearly his WORST work. His best is the one where he videotapes a chimp trying to revive its dead mother for 8 hours.

that critic flashback scene from Ratatouille comes to mind

The real tear jerker is the 2nd season.

Yeah. I get it.

Bojack I suppose.

And Azula's breakdown at the end of Avatar.

I felt bad for Eustace a lot. Dude was a curmudgeon but honestly got punished way harder than he needed to.

The one where he went hunting was really rough on him. I get that he didn't need to be an ass just because his brother was mean to him, but at the beginning Eustace was borderline psychotic, reliving his shitty youth like a PTSD flashback. And the episode still ends with him being punished so they can have a "hunting is bad" message.

>when he puts the cookie on his back
That always makes me tear up bad
That and the ending to What's Opera, Doc? always get to me.

Futurama had many eps that caught me on, and i almost never tear up for a cartoon

>tfw you never that the family had a tradition for naming their firstborn Yancy
>tfw you remember that Yancy was jealous of Fry's name
>tfw you remember that Yancy broke the tradition for his son

Simon's descent into madness was the only part of adventure time I was ever interested in. Shame that bringing Betty back kinda ruined it though

Wouldn't be a proper sad Yea Forums thread without that one

youtube.com/watch?v=jWHHsdE_oQg

I don't feel much from this scene. Maybe it's the exposition filled dialogue or how monotonous Ace's voice is.

youtube.com/watch?v=IRPI3lSACFc
Maybe it's just the music being really good at setting the mood, but the heaviness of all those deaths really gets me in this scene.

The conflict of Eustace and his brother isn't even due to his brother - it's rooted in his mother. His mother is a clear narcissist (not just egotistic, but literal NPD), who, like most narcissistic parents will pit their children against each other, have a clear favorite as the 'goldenchild', a clear lesser as the 'scapegoat', and set impossible standards for others while excusing all of their own flaws. Their children aren't humans in their eyes, rather they exist only to support the parental ego.
The real weird part was when he visited her for first time, and she ridicules his masculinity, comparing him to his father via shoe size. The epsode where he cries in the rain was a clear look into Eustace as a child, and the truth of the matter is that the mean old man is essentially a broken, abused child in a shell.
Eustance was some pyschological shit.

I think the (bst) worst part of EEnE's misadventures is the ventures that COULD work out, but end up getting cut short due to circumstances outside of the Eds' control. Usually because of the Kanker Sisters.
