Look dude the problem I have with the time clause it assumes every new character has an inherent advantage over older ones.
Spinel could have "debuted" last year as some minor character before getting a movie and she probably would have still been fotm. It has nothing to do with how old she is and it everything do with her being in a movie where she was the main antagonist and had a sympathetic backstory.
