A comic set in the Animated verse that does NOT focus on Team Prime. The appeal of TF comics (imo) is that it expands the Universe beyond Optimus v Megatron on Earth.
My own personal preference is a comic about Team Athenia roaming the galaxy fighting rogue Decepticon splinter cells.
But there's lots of other things you could take for a basis for the comic

Feel free to correct me, but the relative scarcity of aquatic transformers has been explained by Cybertron lacking in water. If true, that's fucking stupid. Hydrogen and oxygen are comically abundant, and the ease of their combination means there's water virtually everywhere.
Also, the idea that Cybertron doesn't have any proper oceans is just boring, negating opportunities for interesting undersea adventures. Fuckin lame.
