Previews for ASM #30 and AC: Miles Morales #2
Absolute Carnage previews
We return to Issue 24...
And that's the end of the first preview.
Now for the second preview.
Oh look his hair is back.
CARNAGED
Look, he's even happier than before!
So the obvious hint is to some version of Harry tying into BND.
Feels too obvious though. Norman has harassed a lot of people by now.
And that's the end of the second preview.
This is definitely a part of Peter that mephisto took.
god the buck teeth look so horrible
Symbiote Miles is a thing?
Only in Absolute Carnage. It’s not affecting his main series.
Don't be stupid, Mjfag.
It's fucking Harry. He's always been the only possible candidate.
Mad at "Pete" for dragging good people into "it".
Doesn't like killing, but will do it
Knows Mysterio, speaks firsthand about events from the early days of Lee/Ditko after Pete hits college
Changed his name after he got back to Harry Lyman
Straczynski's original version of the OMD was Peter calling Harry when Harry was on drugs and talking him out of it
Character's been dead and come back.
Norman's serum apparently prevents death, but Harry modified the dose he took in some way.
Harry was originally going to have come back at the end of the Clone Saga as "Gaunt", a sickly looking figure, but Harras shot it down
Mysterio faked Harry's death in the BND retcon explaining his return
Harry and MJ are still close
I'm glad Nick Spencer is in this thread to tell us exactly what's going to happen.
>It's the Harry who died in the 90s.
Why would Harry call his father Norman?
It's fucking Gwen and they're retconning it to rape.
GAAAAAAY!
fuck, this is it, isn't it?
>Why would Harry call his father Norman?
Maybe because he nolonger considers him to be his dad since he disowned him, and is still a piece of shit
I see your point but I dislike it since it kind of ruins the redemptive ending Spectacular #200 went out with.
I mean the sheer strength of DeMatteis's writing and Sal Buscema's art only just stop BND from wrecking it anyway.
But I still don't like the idea that Harry went to hell after all that.
There's actually some mini, possibly non-canon comic where someone goes to the Marvel afterlife, and Harry's working as the Elavator Operator between heaven and hell, which is an apt metaphor for his moral leanings.
It would be like Spencer to remember that Harry and Gwen where friends since at least their teens, and therefore Gwen would have been around Norman at least a few times.
Have MJ and Harry even had a scene together since his return?
He sofa surfed with her for a bit after the American Son fallout I think.
Everyone remembers the love triangle from the Raimi trilogy but they've been pretty good friends since came back from his first Goblin trip.
Honestly I loved her relationship with him in his goblin years, how he clearly still had feelings for her and she loved him as a friend and didn't know how to handle his decent into madness
Never got the sense of there being any romance between them. Harry was a devoted familyman, which made his fall all the more tragic.
Harry, Peter and MJ do all feel like adult friends looking back at their yester years.
