Let’s face it, NOBODY likes Superman as a character. He’s as generic as they come. He has no special quirks or non-generic personality traits. Ever notice how Superspics can’t even defend the character? They always defend the idea of the character instead.
Superman is an outdated personification of the straight white American male’s superiority complex. It’s no wonder why All Might and Shazam are more popular nowadays.

The BRAND is known, not the character. I guarantee you more people can tell me Spider Man’s real name than Superman’s.
Also he goes dancing with Louis. Was the Smallville spelling bee champ. And prefers And Justice For All compared to Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets.
