Do women really prefer The Beast to Gaston?

Beast is a dreamy bad boy they can fix.
Gaston might *seem* manly, but he's manipulative and bitchy. Those might be good traits in a woman's friend but not a lover.

Gaston did nothing wrong.

Women love getting knotted irl after all

Yes, especially white women

Of course, Beast can be changed to their whims and become who they want him to be. Gaston will forever be himself and wants to set his own path, and there's no stopping him from doing it.

This isn't even a critique, understanding women have different power fantasies is just a part of life, don't go crying about the fem version of Isekai.

>eats five dozen eggs a day
Gaston would have dropped dead or gained 100 pounds before he was 40.

yes
>Beast
>learns from his mistakes, makes an effort to improve, supports Belle's interests by giving her access to his library without trying to control it by demanding she read certain books first, falls in love with who she is as a person, their interactions are based on consent and he respects her decision to leave him when he breaks that consent
>Gaston
>constantly insults Belle to her face, belittles her interests, is only interested in her body, obnoxious braggart, loves killing, emotionally incapable of giving a shit about anyone else's feelings, wanted to lock-up her father so she'd have nobody to rely on but Gaston,

this is strictly talking about the animated version, not the live action one of course.

all things considered regarding his lifestyle, he probably has constant diarrhea and absorbs very little of what he eats

The dick size maybe

you dumbass you consume over 20 eggs a day you basically consuming anabolic chicken, gaston is consuming 12*5=60 eggs a day he is eating 3 anabolic chickens, 5COEAD is supreme diet to cultivate such immense mass

Until you drop dead of salmonella.

>Gaston will forever be himself and wants to set his own path, and there's no stopping him from doing it.
an odd way to describe lacking in traits considered so innately human that we use the word humane to refer to them

>Beast
>Locks her away in a prison
>Set an old woman out into the night to freeze to death

>Gaston
>Just kind of a dick

/thread

They're basically the same thing except that the beast is hairier.

Didn't really dig Gaston's face either. Too disproportionate. The Beast is more brutish and masculine.

The female fantasy is an animal they can barely fix enough to be thier guard dog.

Only because Belle is the ultimate romantic self-insert heroine and they agree with her le sophisticated taste. In realty they'd be sucking Gaston's cock like everyone else.

The beast is the extremely idealized version of what women want. As many said before me he needs a fix from her which is basically putting up with his shit. This is already a plus. Only she sees his true colors. That is why women marry violent men and telling themselves only they see the good in him. He is a prince so the money thing is covered, lives in a magical / interesting place while Gaston is basically just a guy who hunts and drinks and probably never allows his girl to leave the kitchen. But the biggest negative about Gaston is apparently he can't be tamed. This doesn't hold back women in real life to try to get to tame a hot guy - only to realize decades later it is futile - but here the Beast is simply a much better deal. And women always want the better deal.

The real question is do woman want the human prince or do they want him to stay Beast

Most girls I know talk about Gaston, never even mention human version Beast.

every time

“When her kiss transforms the Beast, she is furious. “You should have warned me! Here I was smitten by an exceptional being, and all of a sudden, my fiance becomes an ordinary distinguished young man!””
— the 1909 play Beauty and the Beast: Fantasy in Two Acts by Fernand Noziere, the very first published version of the story where the Beauty is disappointed when the Beast transforms into a human at the end.

She's got good taste

My sister does, but she didn't like that Beast became human again.

That's pretty funny. Was the original play a comedy?

No one liked human beast, even creators

Attached: bellefondbeast.jpg (1280x720, 150K)

I'm not a woman but I prefer Gaston. I'm not gay, but that physique and that confidence? Come on. His only problem was that the prettiest girl was a smug superior know-it-all that wanted someone she could 'fix'.

YOU JUST KNOW

Salmonella isn't some cumulative disease that comes from eating too many eggs, you dumb fuck.

Belle being a disappointed furry/monster fetishist in the end would make the ending perfect desu

It was made to convince women to marry old and/or ugly men

Definitely the Beast
Please lord I just want a hot monster boyfriend

What about shedding?

Gather that up and sell it to a weave store.

>But the biggest negative about Gaston is apparently he can't be tamed.
Based and not-simppilled.

also Beast
>kidnaps girls father
>keeps her captive

Beauty and the Beast is, strangely enough, something of a female power fantasy. Because it's fundamentally a story about a woman taming a wild and powerful beast-man, molding him into something better suited for her. She's able to heal him, fix him, make him better.

See, the strongest power fantasy is being able to change your world to better suit you. The subtler the better. Belle started off dissatisfied with her life, an outcast in the village she lives in and yearning for something more. And then she finds herself in a broken down castle and meets a beast who was once a man, damaged and broken. By fixing him, she also creates and ideal world for herself. A man perfectly suited to her tastes, who loves her and would do anything for her, and she gets to live in an environment surrounded by those who love and accept her.

I see no problem with this since BOTH gained what they wanted

>Beast
>Locks her away in a prison
He never locked Belle in a prison. she had free run of his palace except for the rose room, and she volunteered to take her father's place, he didn't demand it. He never forced her to stay, and when she ran after he flipped his shit over her breaking his one rule he didn't try to stop her.

But she had the choice to leave in the end

the screenplay was written by Linda Woolverton, it was her idea to make Belle a bookworm like herself and said Gaston was based off this dude in college who creeped on her.
the ideal of Beast she presented isn't the devotion she shows by the end, its his capacity and willingness for growth actually being demonstrated.

Like, you see it phrased all the time this dismissal of feminine power fantasies as taking a powerful man and reprogramming him fronm the ground up, but when you compare these stories the common element you see is getting a guy with basic human decency and respect who wants the same kind of relationship you do
that so many start off as rude assholes is partially a concession that "all the good men are gay or taken" since guys who were raised to be good people tend to remain in longterm relationships longer than other guys, and partly for the slow-burn catharsis when the guy is no longer a selfish asshole, which is usually accompanied by some gesture to prove he won't immediately revert to being a selfish asshole again if she turns him down anyway

redeemed user

>7ft tall BEAST with a YUGE knotted dick who’s also a prince
>just a town Chad
Like they say, there’s always someone bigger out there, and Beast is definitely bigger than Gaston. I hate this flick tbqhwy; it’s just a female power fantasy.

Men wrote these stories so that women could be their little bitches. If you prefer not Chad to an ugly man-animal creature, you're shallow. Ugly men should have access to beautiful women if their the "nice guy". The other side is in every culture, men feel less guilty looking at porn if they draw her being raped by or doing it with a snake, alien, Dragon, monster, beast.

>girl wants to tame bad boy
>bad boy is tamed and becomes human again
>girl no longer interested
It is a story as old as time

You know what? They’re both bad.

If I were Belle, I’d probably be a fuck of a lot more content to just chill in that little village and not get tangled with abusive fucks. I’d probably marry a baker or some shit. Or, fuck it, I could just marry the super old book store guy, wait for him to die, inherit his shop, and live the rest of my wife as a widow. That was one of the few outs to marriage and one of the few ways of women achieving an independent life in that time and place.

What ruins the Prince is when he's a Beast he projects a burly masculine form with a deep gutteral voice. He has the build of someone who could effortlessly bench lift a log but plays into the gentle giant aspect. If he transformed into a burly looking dude that was still significantly tall with a gruff but not guttural voice the appeal would still be there but instead he turns into a pretty boy with long girly hair and a thin frame. The appeal is just gone.

So you don't enjoy sex?

I mean it was part of the dismantling of the traditional family. She acted disgusted that he wanted five boys. This subversiveness was already being taught back then, that's why white millenials aren't marrying and having children. Compare this to Snow White...she is not empowered...She is a victim.

>Do women really prefer The Beast to Gaston?
Yes they do, when they can sense that underneath all the smelly hair, there's a blonde blue eyed male model waiting to be released from a curse.

>implying they're not getting off to the smelly hair

I didn’t say that. But, yeah I can live without it.

It’s just scary to think of 18th century French laws, where women basically didn’t have agency and were owned by either their fathers or their husbands. It’s kinda like how some men are worried about getting married in America today because divorce laws mean they get fucked out of a big chunk of their stuff, only worse. It’s not worth getting laid and then dying in childbirth (which was a very valid concern as well).

True. Not a beast but a blue eyes blonde prince who will do anything for you and who has a big library and a huge castle in a beautiful forest.

>Implying they're not getting off on his weird monster dick

This! Gaston had every right to do what he did. He was the alfa male in town, and everyone knew it. If she didn't suffer from autism she would have noticed that. Everyone (including the town men) saw him as a God. Who the hell did Belle think she was turning that Oh what a Guy down like that?

But what do you expect from a Disney princess who's into Beastialty, suffers from stockholm syndrome, and acts like a borderline feminist.

Gaston was correct when he said "Shes as crazy as the old man"
She was a loony feminist, and her ass should have been locked up in an insane asylum along side her loony old papa

Attached: 1491169340123.jpg (1314x1076, 304K)

Why do women like weird dicks so much?

all dicks are weird looking to most women

Feminists are going to ruin it for us because they're going too far. Eventually men aren't going to put up with that shit. We have had total equality since the 80s. There is no need for feminism. Now they're having incel crop ups as reactionaries to extreme feminazis.

This is definitely true. Even as a kid I was disappointed because he had a big nose and long hair.

The implication that there’s just some insane asylum just outside of town where people bribe their way into tossing women and old people they don’t like and locking them up forever is about as bad as all those boys never getting off Donkey Island in Pinocchio.

Vaginas too. All genitals are weird looking to most people.

Attached: 1465518742845.jpg (250x277, 11K)

>about as bad as all those boys never getting off Donkey Island in Pinocchio.
Those little fucks new what they were getting into and they had their fun.

Attached: 1502425896954.jpg (750x1003, 154K)

I never understood the women who married old guys for money. I mean, I love money but what about your sex drive? Do some women have a really low sex drive & don't care if the man is young and vitality?

Attached: downnnload (1).jpg (292x173, 12K)

>What is masturbate
>What is cheating

Attached: retard.jpg (478x424, 79K)

>doesn't know how to masturbate
Not like most guys know how to satisfy a woman anyway

Attached: LaughingZeusDaughters.jpg (648x670, 91K)

Yes.
But also the thing about being scared about dying of pregnancy complications. There was also no way of treating most stds back then, which can remain asymptomatic in some men but then present themselves and prove fatal for women, sometimes. And you’re not gonna convince me that Gaston wasn’t as least carrying a few diseases on him, with the way he apparently got around.

Money, power, social respect, and brains to some extent affects a woman sex drive as well, and once she gets the initial drive to fuck, it's all up to the guy being good at it.
You never wanted to fuck a lower rating girl, let's say, a 6/10 over a 8/10 because said 6/10 had something different to offer, like being a nice person to talk, maybe smarter or into some kind of kink?

Now imagine power, social position and money to impress a younger lady

>Gaston will forever be himself and wants to set his own path, and there's no stopping him from doing it.
you forgot to mention hes an asshole

>You never wanted to fuck a lower rating girl, let's say, a 6/10 over a 8/10 because said 6/10 had something different to offer, like being a nice person to talk, maybe smarter or into some kind of kink?
>implying men married women for anything more than fucking and continuing his bloodline
See that's how you end up an old man with a wife that's just waiting for you to die

The failure to understand why Gaston is unappealing Belle is one of the biggest blindspots I've seen in other men when this film comes up. Even as a kid I understood it. He's intrusive, he's boorish, he's arrogant, he's so sure of other people agreeing to what he wants that he plans only for that outcome. When he barges into Belle's house he barely listens to her, and when she asks what he knows about her dreams, he basically lists off his ideal life with her in it as the perfect domestic wife. She basically lays this out in several songs and a conversation with her father. It's like the people who defend Gaston aren't listening to what Belle says either.

>as the perfect domestic wife
It’s debatable, but I wouldn’t describe “the perfect domestic wife” as the babyfactory house slave Gaston was clearly picturing.

Right, first. Volunteering to prevent someone else being FORCED to be imprisoned is still imprisoning someone, it's just not the person you intended. The deal was still that she had to stay or her father would be jailed. And second, the concept of the golden cage exists user, it's still a prison if it's all lovely and big. As long as you aren't allowed to leave, it's prison.

And he didn't enforce the imprisonment when she ran because at that point he was borderline suicidal over how much of a fuckup he was.

I doubt anyone seriously has issues understanding why Gaston is unappealing. It's all memes and psychopaths.

it was his legal right to imprison her father, and he gave her every opportunity to back out of it

Did you forget that Gaston was also going to lock Belle and her father away in the looney bin? At least the Beast’s dungeon would’ve been quiet.

it was also her idea to take her father's place

Talking rugs don't have legal rights. Sure, a human prince could do whatever the fuck he wanted to some peasant scum who wandered onto his lands. But we're talking about a fucking monster. And it doesn't matter if he gave her the opportunity to back out, the end result would be her father being imprisoned, something that she as a nice person wouldn't allow

Was that on the books? If somebody breaks into your house in old timey france, you’re allowed to just lock them in your basement forever, no questions asked? Les Miserables and The Hunchback of Notre Dame led me to believe they at least had a thin semblance of due process, even if their legal system was a cruel joke.

Masturbation is not near as fun and its empty.

Most people are just kinda joking around about Gaston being the right choice.

Not all, sure. And maybe I’m just projecting, but me and my friends have joked about chad Gaston being the true hero of the film plenty. None of us really believe it.

Says you.

I mean he’s technically a prince right? Pretty sure he has jurisdiction over this kinda thing.

You brought up autism, beastialty, stockholm syndrome and feminism, and said Belle deserved the asylum for not going for the "alfa". No one says buzzwords like Gaston!

Attached: losing brain power.png (397x328, 132K)

Well at least two of those are perfectly applicable to Belle

>I can marry A because he has money and social status
>or I can marry B because he's hot
>hmmm....
>lol gurl, I'll just marry A and cheat on him with B!!!111!!!1
Why are women so awful?

Attached: backtothekitchen.gif (500x281, 961K)

That's actually what they were. Always full of people they couldn't cure, schizophreniacs especially. Most others had a short stint in there, or would cycle in and out.

Thank god for lobotomy though. That really emptied the beds.

Attached: SCHWARTZWALD.gif (300x225, 497K)

Gaston is the monster, not the beast.

>I can marry A because she has nobility and would secure an alliance
>or I can marry B because she's hot
>hmmm....
>>lol boy, I'll just marry A and keep as many mistresses as I want!!!111!!!1
It's almost like humans inherently hate compromise

This is literally what the french aristocracy was, and it was a contributing factor in riling up the peasants to start a revolution and getting them all guillotined.

You can't really compare heads of state to a random village roastie.

From what I have seen, yes.....and it's not even close.
A lot of girls grew up crushing hard on Beast. Can't recall ever seeing any girls saying they liked Gaston.

Most girls irl say they preferred him as a beast. He's kinda plain as a human.

>marry old guy
>hope he dies soon
>inherit all of his money
>free to nab any random chad you want for the rest of your life

It's usually why women do that.

Attached: smith-marshall-resized.jpg (1200x889, 483K)

women prefer Frollo. A bad boy who's gonna fix -you-

I'm guessing you mean autism and feminism, because reading, self seclusion, no interest in people and not wanting the traditional plan that the town has for other women.
Can't be the other two as Belle wasn't interested in the beast or his human counterpart and stockholm syndrome doesn't exist and even if we take that seriously she doesn't meet the criteria.

Stockholm syndrome is a real mental disorder. Why do you think it isn’t?

based and redpilled

>Belle learns not to judge by appearances
>Kisses the beast
>Complains about his human appearance
What a bitch.

Stockholm syndrome is not in the DSM-5, there is no official diagnosis for it, same with lima, sorry if that ruins the mind control fetish or the yandere fanfics, I guess.

It's more about Belle being a pretty princess than paying attention to beast

Yeah but some of them aren't marrying men that old. Like a 20 year old with a fifty year old might be waiting a good forty years.

Those probably just have a daddy fetish

>tale as old as time
You had one job, user.

If Gaston had slayed the beast, they'd be all over his dick instead. Ultimately it's all about which alpha comes out on top.

Attached: 1556730126925.jpg (1100x1100, 308K)

>is only interested in her body
I don't get this. Belle isn't even that hot

>prettiest girl
Belle isn't even the prettiest in her own movie.
Hell she isn't even the prettiest brunette

do you fantasize about being raped by zombies by any chance?

that never stopped rapecucks like gaston

We were all this Belle.

>Fernand Noziere
del Toro in another life.

(OP)
>7ft tall BEAST with a YUGE knotted dick who’s also a prince
>just a town Chad

Has anything ever been done with the roles reversed? The girl as the one that's bestial?

>In severe cases, the Salmonella infection may spread from the intestines to the blood stream, and then to other body sites, and can cause death, unless the person is treated promptly with antibiotics.
So it comes down to whether or not Antibiotics have been invented, and whether or not Gaston isn't too dumb or stubborn to take his medicine.

I love this

Loving this. The play has a whole chorus of characters telling Beauty ("Turquoise") that actually The Prince as a great catch, and she's just like "no, fuck off, I wanted the furry. This is false fucking advertising!"

Attached: bnb.png (1038x1764, 357K)

Deep down, all girls want the massive furry Beast. Fucker has horns and claws. You can't compete with that.

She was named "turquoise"? Kek

Real women prefer the Luke Evans version of Gaston.

Gaston wants what he can't have. It's that simple.

That pic looks like a creepier Candlejack wouldn't yo

>BelleBringsWarpstoneToAnEmpireVillage.png

This had better be the first image in a series of illustrations depicting Belle giving Beast some kind of blowjob upon his animal dick (with knot).

#WHITEGIRLSFUCKDOGS

Just followed by a pic with no Belle. Technically sfw, but I'm not going to push my luck.

Everybody says this but I keep having to deal with the same goddamn videos every fucking time. I feel like by now SOMETHING NEW should have leaked, right?!

If it's Beast without Belle, then it can go to Helle.

In a way, The Princess Bride is sort of the inverse of this, with the male and female roles changed. Not really the overall point of that story, but there was an element of that present from Wesley to Buttercup.

They tend to grow out of it before you'd find it interesting. Belle is the rare exception.

Belle is a cunt when you think about it
>townspeople are nice to her and shit
>she thinks and outright calls them all boring because they don't act like her fantasy/romantic stores/whatever she's reading
>seems she tries her best to not engage with them as much as she can
>wants more without ever actually doing anything to achieve that and just waits around for something to happen and got lucky when it did

To be fair, they do talk about her behind her back. Then again it's unclear who started it.
Belle is still a basic bitch fantasy.

But they are all boring. I mean, to a certain extent we have to pretend she's not really singing those words out loud because that'd be fucking weird, but she's not wrong. The town is so damned dull that the only thing people talk about is Gaston.

Little villages with no form of communicating with the outside world are boring. Boring can be enjoyable, but it's sure as fuck not exciting.

>wants more without ever actually doing anything to achieve that and just waits around

I’m willing to bet one of the big reasons she never just walked out of town and did something else is because she wouldn’t leave her father. I forget, but I think she even has a conversation with her dad towards the beginning of the film where he suggests she gets married and she kinda asks “but then who would take care of you?”

That, and, much like in Cinderella, the fact that it’s set in a time and place when just picking up, leaving their family, and getting a job to support themselves and start an independent life was sort of not an option for most women.

>8th century French laws, where women basically didn’t have agency and were owned by either their fathers or their husbands
Then how did Jeanne d'Arc convince a French court to get her out of the arranged marriage her father set up for her in the 1400s?

fpbp

God.

But its in DSM-4 though

>That, and, much like in Cinderella, the fact that it’s set in a time and place when just picking up, leaving their family, and getting a job to support themselves and start an independent life was sort of not an option for most women.
Satan's right. Part of Gaston's whole motivation for pursuing Belle is simply that it's the status quo of society for men like him to marry and then bone women like Belle and sire at least six or seven children (males, preferably).
