Several of the SCPs are good and would join the superheroes ranks.

I was thinking of 2317, "the ancient giant scarlet king that is being hold back with only 7 chains (and which 6 of them are broken), that can't be contained and that eventually will devour the world".
Most of the 2XXX series are shit and everything past them needs to be purged from internet.

Those Cain and Abel guys?

Everything about SCP is lame

i guess it's too hard to identify the mary sues now. i just remember it was one of the joke ones. of an oc from deviantart
based

Is that a fucking skeksis?

How many gods and universe ending threats do they have locked up now? Have they ever actually touched on how ridiculous it is that they're somehow containing all this wanky
shit? It feels like they need to just reboot this crap and start over.

The relatively more mundane SCP are really cool, up to the twilight zone shit, we could introduce some in Hellblazer

>it was one of the joke ones
was it this one?
scp-wiki.net/decomm:scp-316-d

>How many gods
well, there's the reality bending creature that reminds me of Morgan Freeman in Bruce Almighty (343), the Crimson King I mentioned earlier, the Moth God from another dimension who believes to be the God from Abrahamic religions, the Mechanic God worshiped by the Church of the Broken God, the Flesh God worshiped by that flesh cult, whatever the fuck is 3999, probably one of the multiple Harold Holt, and who knows what else I'm missing.

Fate just makes a funnel and all the SCPs would fall into it and there'd be a portal at the end to some barren void.

Aren't they all secured, contained, and protected?

Wow, it's a non-argument!

They barely have any of the major reality-enders contained. Anyone who says they actually have everything under lock and key is a shitposter.

Even the ones they DO have "contained" are only in such a state because of literal luck.

Same for comics, honestly.

HmmmmmMMMMmmmm could be a dead member

Not if there was glass to be humped

oh look it's this reddit spacing power level asshole again

>t. Literal Redditor who fell for the "Reddit spacing" meme

The Cicada God isn't contained (they're actually debating erasing the Abrahamic faiths to stop it from mantling the Christian God), the Scarlet King or whatever is an inevitable apocalypse scenario, Yaldabaoth and Mekhane can't ever be contained, 3999 is very dead, etc.

If all of the SCPs were suddenly dumped onto the setting with zero warning, then they all fucking die. Maybe if you gave Fate or some of the other cosmics ample time to prepare thry could pull it off, but otherwise you've fucked them.

YASH could probably kill like a majority of the big Leaguers on its own if you just dropped it on them.

>believing shitty Yea Forums memes
Laughing at your life.

If you are putting them into the DC verse then the heroes win because the writers wouldn't let them lose.

Now if you dropped all the DC hero's into the SCP verse, then they just get contained because THOSE writers wouldn't let the foundation lose.

>then they just get contained because THOSE writers wouldn't let the foundation lose.
nonsense, SCP writers aren't limited by "canon" like DC writers are. Some of the best Stories on the site are the ones where the foundation loses. They'll write what's the most entertaining.

Stupid shit used to be openly mocked and subsequently destroyed. scp-wiki.net/decommissioned-scps-arc

All the super powerful world ending, reality bending, lovecraftian horrors existing in one setting would cancel each other out.

Several stories involve the Foundation losing nd everything getting fucked. The Antimemetics stuff literally has only two remaining members of the Foundation left, and one of thrm is dying and the other doesn't even know what the Foundation even is.

That was lolfoundation garbage that made Yea Forums seem palatable. Or did you actually like the overpowered self insert doctors riding 682, or the giant mass of tits?

Thought Robot beats all the big ones up because heroes always win.

Yeah but which is the cutest

Isn't decommissioning ironically why Doctors like Dr.Clef and and Dr.Kodraki went from "Experts in their fields but otherwise nothing to write home about" to "Badass scientists that can take down almost any SCP".

>Or did you actually like the overpowered self insert doctors riding 682, or the giant mass of tits?
How did my post imply that?

They started out as the latter in the early days, then have slowly shifted into the former over time as people started distancing themselves from the SI doctors.

>Or did you actually like the overpowered self insert doctors riding 682, or the giant mass of tits?
He never once implied that you fucking retard.

Attached: hurt feelings.png (899x636, 1M)

Not him, but even ignoring the early stuff like that, "decommissioning" was jsut an excuse for people on their to trash any writers they didnt like and shit on what they made before. If that's what gets your gears grinding, that's fine. But don't act like it's normal.

But the articles in that link are deviantart-tier shit. I'm not saying ALL the shit articles are on that list but they should be.

There are tons of shit articles in that list, but we had "decommissionings" for even those stories that were passable or just on the edge of decent, whilst shit like the mound o' hits got away scott-free.

If lolfoundation stuff was allowed to have become the norm, the site probably would've turned into SB.

SCP has comics, novels, animations, and a number of other things. Lobotomy doesn't, and whilst I like the game, trying to start up shitfests between it and SCP is just going to get people treating you like every other autist from Yea Forums.

What would happen to Superman if he has contact with pic related?

Most versions would probably die. Anything that fucks with the Sun tends to screw him over.

Either that, or one of the various mangas.

Mekhane is kind of containing Yaldabaoth but both have cults in real space that want to fuck the balance up.

seeing as how a bunch of ordinary people do im sure it'd work out

I dont care what anyone says, SCP Secret Laboratory is a damn fun game

The only reason why Mekhane's followers are fucking shit up is because they're retarded. So retarded in fact, that it's implied that Mekhane actually favors the Foundation over them.

They're literally a bunch of toaster-fuckers.

SCP overstayed its welcome but to answer your question yeah DC has absolute bullshit hack characters. They can just apply Decreator based tactics against the adapting crocodile dumbshit without defeating him and he'll just adapt forvever and do nothing because he will take eternity adapting.

By the time he does the universe is gone.

>The Foundation
>ordinary people

/thread

So what the fuck happened with Clef? Like actually WHAT happened and WHY?

Really depends on what you take as canon, but apparently he was once a member of the GOC and didnt want to go through with murdering the innocent child of a god (who was admittedly pretty crazy), and may or may not have gotten fucked over by a thot of some kind.

Eventually, he hopped on over to the Foundation.

what the fuck is that shitty new interface, all those extra classifications and those long footnotes?

It used to be an /x/ thing but it got invaded by Redditfags and that's the result.

It's something specific to 3812 and a number of more pataphysics-related SCPs.

I love her

Metokur pls

>pataphysics
wut

>Have they ever actually touched on how ridiculous it is that they're somehow containing all this wanky shit? It feels like they need to just reboot this crap and start over.

There is no canon. The only thing that is canon to each article is what the writer wants to take from other articles. So, when someone writes a super god-deity SCP, then they are free to believe there are no other ones, or that there are a million billion other ones.

In the SCPverse, Pataphysicsis basically the Foundation realizing they're fictional and trying to do something about it, whether by manipulating the narrative principles for their own gain, raging against the authors and occasionally bringing some to heel, or using all their knowledge to combat entities from in-universe fictional narratives that have been made real.

682 isn't really significantly dangerous here unless the heroes fuck up big time.

They couldn't kill 682. I'm pretty sure Cain and Abel are already running around the DC and Marvel universes somehow.

Not really different from later Lovecraft stuff.

The angry star thing is actually ripped directly out of one of his stories. But even aside from the Old Ones who wake up when the stars are right (which is implied in a different book to be very soon, since someone who travels 1000 years into the future through the dreamscape sees humans replaced entirely), you've got stars beating each other up, you've got Nyarlethotep just fucking with people, all kinds of giant monsters and death cults, shit from other dimensions that will eat you if it sees you, all that dreamscape nonsense, Azathoth the blind idiot king that could pretty much blink the universe out of existence if he actually had a mind to do it with, all kinds of elder gods, outer gods, old ones and great ones getting ready to crack open a cold one.

Shit's bonkers.

Attached: serveimage.png (188x450, 13K)

The current 1548 is probably less angry than the old one. The old one was just a grouchy dick for no reason.

scp-wiki.net/scp-999
scp-wiki.net/scp-131
It's the safe ones you have to worry about.

Yeah the more I think about 682 the more it pisses me off. The thing's survived every single thing in the continuity except that entire timeline death curse. But it doesn't even do anything. It's just an unkillable asshole. In a "who would win in a fight" thread, 682 wins every time, but there comes a point where you question why the fuck anyone cares enough to try given the scale of the effort.

"Hey let's try dropping a 50 megaton thermonuclear bomb on it!"
FUCKING WHY. It's a lizard. A cage works. This scenario should not even come up.

The Foundation pretty much wants to destroy it because its hatred guarantees that if it escapes, it's going to cause a massive fucking death toll. Possibly the end of the world if militaristic responses happen.

They also realize that if thry leave it alone long enough, it will just up and decide to cause a breach and wreak havoc. It only really allows itself to be contained in the acid pit because it's fairly lazy.

scp-wiki.net/scp-498

This fucking alarm clock could end the universe in under an hour, and the multiverse with 24.

It's literally in the name you twit.

how does this gal fare?

Jon, Damian and Beast Boy get a new fetish.

Sound can't travel through space. shoot it into space. problem solved.

This actually isn't really correct. There is in fact a very, VERY thin medium through which sound can travel through in space. It's just so miniscule that it typically does not matter in the majority of cases.

This isn't one of those cases, though. Due to how decibels work via exponentially building up, what 498 would be outputting would cease to be sound in any traditional sense of the term. It would become waves of raw force cascading outwards with increasing power and frequency.

By the one hour mark, it would've already become a supermassive blackhole larger than the observable universe.

Yes, apparently by placing it in a 12 by 12 room with no one else inside and only having personal that fits the description to not be turned into pinyatas, apparently.

It's a literal plot device that's only there to keep even more retarded entries in check. You're overthinking it, it's not there to be cool or make sense or even be interesting, it's there to keep faggot fucking OCs like Abel from ever being made again.

youtu.be/65JCXIaeqEM

How could they ever stop her?

NIGHTWING NO!

SCP pre-2XXX is garbage and if you like it you just like shitty creepypastas

The real question is whether Spectre will be in full big event jobber mode or on the level of his solo series. If it's the latter, then he'll help hold the line.

But could the DC Universe stop Stanley the Accountant?

This. It's easy to deal with shitty articles with awful premises- you can sorta tell yourself that every entry you hate is just a red herring planted by the Foundation. I do it. That way it's easier to swallow that somebody got their fucking fursona into the SCP wiki

Stanley can't even stop himself.

can she be a hero?

They would forget one. It's the one that isn't a sphere I think? I forget.

Who the fuck is that?

scp-811

I don't think it was a sphere. Was it contained to begin with?

>SCP is garbage and if you like it you just like shitty creepypastas
Fixed.

Probably. There's been more fucked up cases, at least.

They have already shown there are multiple universes in the SCP-verse. Not every SCP is in every universe as SCP with the same designated number correspond to completely different SCPs in each universe.

NIGHTWING YES

I wonder, how would the DC universe deal with 3125
There is probably a way they could but I can't think of anything off the top of my head

Even knowing about it is pretty much insta-death. And per one of the latest stories, it can apparently retroactively delete the very idea of you once it has consumed you.

It's basically the ALE, but with soemthing of an actual 'will' behind it.

I know it's a meme (in more ways than one) but I think that's a job for the Superman Thought Robot, since that's what they concluded would be needed to stop it, but they weren't able to pull it off.

there isn't a true "will" behind it, it's just an idea after all
it simply is such an alien and virulent idea anyone in contact with it assumes it to be sapient, at which point it acts like a conceptual mirror and looks like it actually has sapience to that person
it's true however that it's in a completely different ballpark than the ALE

SB? What are you talking about now?

According to 'Unthreaded', it merely manifesting is enough to completely fuxk the noosphere and irreversibly defile it.
It's also speculated that the only reason it can even fake sapience is because it's eaten so many complex organisms that parts of it can just mimic the behaviors convincingly enough to seem intelligent and guided. At its core though, it's really just a chaotic and disjointed meme-ecology with no guiding centre.

No, because so much of it needs insanely specific shit to not melt down the universe.

guys there is no hard canon for this shit, theres stuff that completely contradicts each other

Attached: 1556557320204.gif (360x360, 25K)

m.youtube.com/watch?v=rdR5U_1ek08

Also, some of that shit is fairly morally reprehensible. Like needing to have people eat young babies in what's likely to be the dozens to appease the Deer and keep it contained.

He technically had a DC comic about him once. But he would easily wipe the floor with 682.

>b-but his reality altering abilities
Doesn't matter. Doomguy would violently murder him out of existence with his bare hands. 682's hatred of all life doesn't even get close to Doomguy's hatred of all demons and demonic entities.

Plus, 682's powers only work against mary sue SCPs and anything trying to get an SCP entry. Since Doomguy is having none of that, 682 can't bounce back. He's really only powerful as a gatekeeper

Attached: 6500332-doomguy.png (592x795, 315K)

Just like comics then.

Doomguy has canonically gone through all the wads, and is going to kill a God in his next game. Use the Scarlet King instead.

It's contained in the acid pit because it destroys him at almost the same rate as he regens, isn't that what is says in his entry?

The Scarlet King got killed by Earth flying into him at light speed in one story.
Doomguy could tear his shit in.

I'm not sure it does. But most people run under the assumption that he only adapts as much as he needs to in order to deal with the acid, and nothing more.

Link? That sounds pretty fun.

SCP 3100

Even if the acid couldn't hold him just put him in the cell of the "little girl" SCP that kills anyone who trues to harm her. Iirc he goes completely still in her presence and refuses to attack.

Apparently, there's multiple instances of the same Devourer. The Three Moons apparently destroyed their own as well.

And going by that one 001 proposal, the Scarlet King isn't really a distinct entity as such. It's a force of ruin that incorporates all the various perceived personas and identities given to it into itself, and opposes civilization and growth, becoming stronger to tear it all down the faster it builds up.

SCP has way too much of a power gap between just weird paranormal objects and "UNKILLABLE GOD MONSTER THAT CAN KILL THE WHOLE UNIVERSE IN A NANOSECOND BUT IT CHOOSES NOT TO BECAUSE WE SACRIFICE IT SO MANY LOW-LEVEL EMPLOYEES." It has also has a shitton of origin-stories/lore for the different creatures but none of it is as interesting as the objects themselves and is just a chore to read.

Pretty much. The trannies and neckbeards who run the thing think they're going to make it rich thanks to SCP, having run the old fags off who knew it was a joke.

That's a large part of the theme of the SCP foundation, it's kind of like the original Men in Black movie where these grand universal truths and threats are just part of their workday. Yeah there are dozens of world ending threats in jail, they've got dozens of mutually exclusive religious pantheons ready to end the world, they're all the real deal, but there's nothing the foundation can do but try to keep a lid on it all.

Also the foundation has the ability to reset the universe if they should "lose" and apparently they do so pretty often. It makes a lot more sense when you realize they're basically savescumming the end of the world.

Which heroes would vote to kill the little witch girl who can make everything she believes in a reality?

I know for sure Batman and Superman would be against it. What about the rest? She is a catasthrophe waiting to happen.

>[shit that never happened]

Constantine would probably be for it. Fate too.

I'm inclined to say that the SCPs don't make a big difference in DC for this reason, DC has bullshit like Darkseid becoming part of the human consciousness and Superman singing him away, cosmic level rewriting of reality is relatively common.

There's any number of SCPs where if their containment fails even slightly for whatever reason, existence ends. Shit like the Void Singularity or 1739 are pretty good examples of this, along with the cakes and the alarm clock and 319. And then there's shit like the Starfish/3125 or Laugh Is Fun.

OP is dumping all of them onto DC Earth with zero warning. There's no way to survive something like that unless adequate forewarning is given ahead of time.

>There's any number of SCPs where if their containment fails even slightly for whatever reason, existence ends.
yeah and there are a lot of D.C. characters that operate outside of "existence" and casually fix that kind of thing regularly, to say nothing of time travel which every Tom, Dick, and Harry has in their garage.

A fair number of those characters typically don't involve themselves in messes like these for whatever reason, being fair.

I believe both Doctor Fate and The Spectre can sense high-tier cosmic threats in advance.

Fate/Nabu probably does. The Spectre is up for debate whenever the Presence has him tightly bound.

>Booster Gold's no good very bad week

Seems like something Darkseid could sense

>everything
Not how SCP works

2521 could make for a fun Plastic Man villain. He has to try and warn people about a monster he can't talk about with elaborate charades.

Speaking of SCP, I've been working on an SCP for a while. Tell me if it's shit or not.

>class: safe
>description: scp is a pair of headphones, most similar to sony earbuds. The only difference is signs of degredation in the wires. It degrades at a faster rate than normal headphones, but much like SCP914 it can have its individual parts repaired. Attempts to disassemble it have resulted in the anomalous properties dissipating until it's re-assembled. It appears to work as a sort of ship of theseus, wherein you can only replace one or two wires at a time, as it's assumed that this allows the anomalous properties to "transfer" into the replacement parts
>when left on its own, the earbuds exhibit no anomalous properties, and are functionally identicial to earbuds. It's when they're worn or plugged into any music device (with compatible headphone jack) that they begin to display unusual properties. Subjects report that whenever they listen to a soundtrack, they hear a faint whisper in the background of the music, regardless of what they're listening to. They shouldn't be able to hear it, especially from MP3s that are extremely loud, yet somehow subjects are clearly able to discern whispering. Upon repeated listening of the same track, the whispering gets louder. After a recorded 5 times, the whispering stops. Subjects afterward feel an aversion to no longer listen to the music in question. Interviews suggest that the subjects feel "embarassed" to play it again, as if they felt people mocking them. No further anomalies occur afterward

I tried to avoid mary sue bullshit, but I feel like the website would never accept it due to the new management. What do you guys think?

Is stupid how the Foundation is so scared of that little girl when they have been able to "contain" creatures of similar or higher power.

I doubt it for all of them, unless we include OP speedforce feats. There's so many worldbusters they'd overwhelm the heroes.

>SCP thread

This pleases the zoomer.

Think that already happened

Aren't 05 a bunch of eldritch horrors masquerading as humans, magicians, cyborgs and aliens?

Pretty much. They're usually benign, but sometimes they do some really weird shit.

Alright, post some top tier SCPs
> scp-wiki.net/scp-1171

>Deer
Foundation could kill it if they set their mind to it

Just have Doomsday kill the shit.

The witch girl only really has to think about it to completely fuck the universe. Sure, there's definitely stronger, but her effect is one of the more unpredictable.

Can’t she just think it back to normal?

Reminds me of another SCP that removes whatever it thinks about of existence. It doesn’t really think about the fact that it’s breathing oxygen but if it thought about it then oxygen would just stop existing

Wouldn’t it erase the fact it was breathing oxygen instead?

She could, but she has zero actual control over her abilities so they're unstable at best.

In one universe where the Foundation didn't emerge, 343 ended up teaching her how to master her powers, to the point that she basically recreated the universe and reincarnated herself without her memories to do it all over again.

>you think that's air you're breathing?

>Chess computer
>Taped basketball game timeloop
>Ronald Reagan Cut Up While Talking

Attached: 1565451936368.gif (192x192, 1.55M)

This is what I'm talking about. There's 343 and other reality benders that are in good terms with the Foundation and that could the little witch to control her powers.

The multiple copies of Harold Holt that were returned to life by different methods is one of my favorites:
scp-wiki.net/scp-3477

>>Ronald Reagan Cut Up While Talking

I remember when this used to be up there with the likes of 173 and 049 as some real creepy shit
Now it's long been forgotten and no one does anything with it anymore

Well yes, but that's using resources they could honestly be using for any number of other things.

They do all this shit to make the Deer think it's contained when really it's not
And higher up officials wanted to cut the budget on doing these things which would likely upset the Deer and it'll realize it's not contained anymore

unless the scientist who came up with the idea just likes young babies being eaten, wouldn't surprise me

I don't think so the Ethics committee isn't a joke like it used to be if it wasn't absolutely necessary but done out of sick enjoyment they'd have gotten pumped full of amnestics and put on class D duty
Besides the article makes it clear the scientist did everything to make the ritual as humane as he could

Also killing things that you barely understand is just asking for trouble. Who knows what would happen if they tried killing it

Wait which one gives them the ability to reset the universe? 2000 only recreates mankind and changes the earth, nothing beyond

I'm not proud of this but I have a SCP OC
He's a regular guy who turned out to be a type green (reality warper) used his powers to find more about the universe, got scared shitless and began stacking passive defences like a madman
Now he hangs out in his pocket dimension and tries to net get attention to himself although he sometimes goes out to do superhero work

i think it would be more like how burns in the simpson is alive because all his illness try to enter at the same time so they get stuck in the door and non get to enter
the SCP univers has a lot of does "uncontained by the fundation, but the natural order keep it at bay" things

Terrible

Yup, that's what self inserts are for!

>all his illness try to enter at the same time so they get stuck in the door and non get to enter
that was just an allegory
its more, he has both a disease that causes deadly fevers and a disease that causes deadly heat loss that are canceling each other out, a disease causing too many white blood cells to be produced thats cancelling out one that causes too few to be produced, etc etc
they're already through the door
I realize this doesn't matter, I'm just overthinking things as warm-up excercises

i know dude
our organism work in the same way really, we are in a constante balance between signals and bla bla bla
i do study medicine, no need to get technical whit a simpson example

>no 294 everything you want coffee machine
>no 914 to do interesting experiments with
>no 999 to pet and play with
What's the point to go on?

I like it, its rare to see someone write a safe one

just simple objects without stry are kind of boring

There's at least one universal reset button, but god help me if I can recall the name.

The Scarlet King was basically Barbatos and they did fine.

yeah

We haven't mentioned the Guardians of the Universe, and containing inexplicable threats through unethical cosmic bullshit seems right up their alley.

They could probably take on some of the higher threats. I remember they managed to inprjson Superboy Prime

Reality would become so irreversibly fuck that NOTHING could stop it all.

no one can resist the doorknob

>Antimemetics
There is no Antimemetics Division.

I want to fuck this thing

Waa there a Marion Wheeler, though?

Spacebattles, probably.

Imagine how weird a statement "Antimemetic spiders" sounds to someone unfamiliar to SCP

You forgot to add "skyscraper-sized"

>implying it didn't already turn into it when threads like these are posted every single month

This dude wanks more than a porn video. He’s overhyping a gimmick to get the audience invested and ignoring how Thought Robot’s power is essentially “I win”

Any trey the explainer fans here?

Nah

He could sense it maybe, but stopping all of it at once? Doubt it.

>Doesn’t understand you never underestimate Darkseid

Don't Scarlet King's and Darkseid's domains overlap?

>scp-wiki.net/scp-3333
Jeez don't remind me. Why the hell did the author decide to change the skinwalkers in a single naruto OC

Partially, but the King is closer to a force of entropy than anything else. It would see Apokalips destroyed just as it would any other civilization.

I just want to see 999 hugging Superman and him blushing

3999 is based once you get that it's a victim of Talloran

no it's not

Has anyone ever wondered what this photo actually is?

and none of them can beat 682 lol

682 is basically doomsday desu.

a dead beluga whale

682 can beat doomsday

Nah

>muh super special character is unbeatable
God I wish reddit would leave.

Yeah! Like 2800

Attached: 2800.png (396x598, 92K)

/k here, got a problem with that?

Doomsday would just start hitting 682 harder, which would prompt 682 to adapt and start hitting harder, which would cause Doomsday to adapt and start hitting harder, and so on. It's just neverending escalation, with 682 having an edge somewhat.

>muh super special character is unbeatable
Don't act like comics don't do the exact same shit.

What exactly gives 682 the edge?

What if 682 met Death?

Attached: death-vertigo.jpg (480x671, 33K)

>Don't act like comics don't do the exact same shit.
Who says I do anymore, I grew tired of that bullshit years ago.

Yeah watch as reddit fag says he can beat her, it will be funny seeing him try that shit.

It's regeneration and adaptation is simply faster, and more bullshit. Getting tossed into literal nonexistence does not kill it, and getting hit with enough sustained nuclear bombardment to vaporize the moon simply prompts it to grow to the size of Saturn and eat the solar system.

She'd probably just tell it off, and complain about its father causing trouble. Maybe try and redeem it if possible.

Death of the Endless is on the same tier as the Brothers Death, if not higher. She's well beyond 682 or anything like it.

it's got smart brain, Doomsday is dumb like Trump supporters

If everything from the SCP universe was dropped into SU Earth, would Steven be enough to redeem them all?

Attached: steven vs spinel.jpg (689x1199, 175K)

Doomsday is one of the few beings that can take on the Omega Effect. I say that gives him enough bullshit to win.

cringe

99% of them are reality-eating eldritch abominations made out of pure concentrated evil, so no.

El Hermano would kill them all.

Attached: El Hermano.jpg (1585x791, 84K)

Fair enough.

682 has the problem of being an annoying little gatekeeper who can bullshit his way from dying so everyone assumes he can tank anything
But then people forget he's been driven near death repeatedly by a statue, a crying humanoid, a little korean girl, and hid in the corner from a little rabbit
The only reason those didn't outright kill him is because we can't have the gatekeeper who isn't even good at his job get reasonably ganked

as it that would stop him

1) Intelligent
2) Its not even in the physical world, the lizard is a shadow of its true being like a reflection of the moon on the surface of water this is the source of its adaptive regeneration

>driven near death repeatedly by a statue
173 in the pre-universe singlehandedly massacred like a third of the Leviathans that 682 originates from. It's fucking bullshit.

>a crying humanoid
096 never won. Fighting 682 outright caused it to have something akin to a mental breakdown, to the point it refuses to fight it again. And 682 regenerated rather easily from that fight.

>a little korean girl
[Citation needed]

>and hid in the corner from a little rabbit
Probably the only case with no real explanation behind it, beyond that rabbit being capable of eating anything. Point.

Yeah I hate that lizard too protection against Mary sues my ass, he's a Mary sue!

For me, it's SCP-1733.

doc savage of course

One of the termination attempt logs including being ruined by 2599 before it ordered her to stop, which she has to obey.

325 robins died that day

basically froppy with toxic powers

That test log was mostly her fucking about with it. It doesn't seem to indicate that 682 was in any real threat of being harmed. It's like how 999 tried to make it happy which caused it immense discomfort and temporarily drove it insane.

I love how future 999 has potential to incapacitate 682 by putting him in a permanent state of euphoria

well, in one canon the Foundation accidentally killed Death
with all the horrifying consequences you'd imagine and a few novel ones

John Constantine could do it. And laugh while he does

Why doesn't the foundation just rape 682?

Attached: hmmm.jpg (600x497, 23K)

It's funny Death have them worst immorality possible, technical immorality, as a last fuck you
It's hilarious

yeh that canon ranges from "dark humor" to "fucking depressing"
would also be interesting if the Foundation managed to repeat that little fuckup within the DC universe

Give me the TLDR on some of these abominations, I'm up for a laugh.

If I remember right things got so bad they gave in and gave their advanced tech to general public so they wouldnt have suffer anymore

There's actual a recent Series V article where an instance of the Foundation deals in a similar situation with Death, but they don't jump the gun and immediately try to terminate it, thereby ensuring an End of Death scenario didn't in that universe whislt they tried to figure out how to give everyone complete and benign immortality.

not exactly, it's that the canon goes on so far into the future things like brain transplants and full body cyborgs become non-anomalous
they also do have an object in containment that can kill people, but as the concept of dying has become anomalous, it's kept in a lockbox never to be used
only major breach of protocol they had was when they set up a psychic radio channel capable of broadcasting directly to the ever increasing mass of debodied brains spread around the planet

For me, it's SCP 1790

Eh serie 3 still got some goodies

Also, the article itself is basically a pun. They had a pulp fiction contest, and the guy decided to take it to its logical conclusion.

Anyway, I'm going to go and have some orange juice.

Which tale???

It's actually mentioned in the collapsible explaining the characters, with "173/the Koitern". Haven't read throuch all the tales there to see if they actually go into detail about the massacre.

Superman's Fortress of Solitude would do an equal or better job containing the majority of SCPs than the SCP foundation. Superman robots far outperform smart humans. You generally need someone like Lex Luthor to expose them as not-Superman.
As to the super-SCPs most could reasonably be dealt with by a combination of Green Lanterns and New Gods. For example Boom Tubing someone to the end of time, the big bang or some desolate already eaten multiverse is very efficient removal (they dumped doomsday in one of those for a while until someone used another boom tube to get him back).

>The Foundation
>humans
Maybe the rank and file, but once you start approaching shit like the higher ups, 'human' gets very flexible. And the O5's themselves are thoroughly eldritch.

>posting 2721

Exit the premises

How eldritch we talking here? Squid men, Superman (star child superbeing), Guardians of the Universe (run an army of star children), New Gods (conceptual beings), Monitors (godlike jobbers), Morrison Monitors who operate the Orrery (the multiverse is microscopic to them and just as meaningful)?

All of the above to varying degrees depending on the instance. And the Founder/Administrator is even more alien.

Oooh. I can just hear the crying

Reality warpers, magicians, cyborg supermen, not!Eve, aliens, robots, A.I., whatever the fuck O5 - 13 is
There's a full list of them somewhere I'll see if I can find it

Here it is scp-wiki.net/o5-command-dossier
There's no canon version of the council but these are the possibilities

Not everything can be solved with rape, Gordon.

In some cases, EVERY version of the O5's is canon.

He got wrecked by the foundation colony dropping all of earth on him

SCP is the definition of wasted potential.
A cool idea ruined by idiot zoomers.
Most of the SCP's were deviantart tier OC donuts made by edgy 14 year olds that wanted to make an super OP creature that fucked everything up, and couldn't be stopped.
SCP 682 was a good example of this. The author just kept adding bs powers to one up all the other SCP's so that eventually it coul be basically unstoppable.

I have no idea why they havent erased them from the SCP canon yet.

That's just coward talk.

Are you retarded

You do realize that all of them are varying degrees of anomalous, right? In one case, 3 doesn't even have a proper human body and is an intelligent machine, and 13 is literally an eldritch abomination that the other O5's themselves don't often interact with.

The authors of 3333 actually reverted it back what was before the fire fox shit a few months ago because people thought it sucked.

They had to change it because the original was pulled. They didn't change anything else about the article, either.

This fight caused them both heavy damage
Shy Guy just always turns into a bitch after fight regardless of who he goes up against anyway

But again, it’s just another example of 682 somehow being capable of overriding something or brute forcing it with no meaningful pay off other then “And then he used the SCP against the foundation and killed everyone”

Any sauce on that? As far as I know it's an old-ass image of unknown origin, and I can't find anything about anyone asking them to take it down.

It's stupid as hell because exposing it to other SCPs dramatically increases the chance of a containment breach for both 682 and the SCP they test. The foundation should have figured out that nothing was going to work after it shrugged off reality warping shit. Just leave it in the damn tank.

I'm fairly certain that 3812 is disgusting degrees of overkill.

I mean, the Council could probably kill him without even realizing it.

or
>This entity is created by another, more powerful entity that would be upset if it were destroyed

End of Death is one of the more interesting things the website's ever done.

That's literally what you fucking said

They probably wouldnt try it with Death of the Endless though, considering she's not a petty vindictive cunt. Along with the fact that she's kind of integral for the whole multiverse.

She's above everything in SCP anyway.

Definitely not "everything", but many things. The Brothers Death are about even with her, amongst others.

Anyone else have any SCPs that are actually on the site right now? I have two. They both received lukewarm reception.

Attached: a1a.png (1430x806, 1.9M)

I actually liked clef's stuff. but i really like religious eschatology.

Anyone else hate almost every 001-proposal? I hate how almost all of them are over-written and have this compulsive need to be a novella about some thing in SCP canon that everyone was perfectly okay with not knowing.

This is why moved to make my own fiction at home instead of reading shit perverts write online

>never is mentioned this dragon bodied-squid was assigned a gender and refers itself to other
Fuchs you

Cthulhu is primarily referred to with male pronouns, but is technically genderless. Same for Nyarlathotep, who literally has avatars that are male, female, duck, bat, or whatever the hell it's feeling like that day.

Complaining about the O5s means you're the kind of retard to complain about any eldritch being in any kind of fiction.

>SCP 001
i dont like them, not even one of them
i can get pass the broken god / flesh god shenanigans going around, but when peope try to put their OC donut in the center of the story, it just falls apart, even when the OC donut is the O5 or the administrator, or the guy that found the first anomally, it just doesnt work
also i hate the fabric the most
the angel one was a nice read tho

You can ignore most of the -001 proposals if you bother to. Msot of them are pretty inconsequential, or otherwise don't impact cosmology all that much.

I think the very nature of 001 being "important" attracts the kind of writers that want their story to be "important". In the same kind of way that elections attract people who want political power. You're absolutely sure to get some cringefest shit.

001 should have just been locked forever. Totally inaccessible.

oh and that one about the sun making everyone in to a mass that wants to absorve more people was good
but the monsters just rememberm me too much of the SCP about that other dimension whit things going around trying to abosorve everyone in to a mass
i know, thats what i do, they are good reads tho

Of course I can ignore them, but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of them fucking stink. There are a few good eggs though.

Eh, you're right but it's fucking SCP eventually something or someone is gonna drag him out of his NEET hole

There's really no point in getting upset over the -001 stuff. And a few of them do lead into interesting shit, like the Factory as a whole, or Site 13. Getting mad over it is just going to sour your mood on a lot of things.

What is a SCP?

use the fundation or the GOC and let them be the onces that open it by accident, to write an article you need to make it like its a scientific study (some times, not really, but i like them that way)
so use that at your adventage, make it so that the neet was so distracted protecting himself from the cosmic horrors going around that he forget about simple things like being drown in water, just make it so that the study take time to get to that conclusion, experiment whit does defenses that he have created

something like
>test log faggot5 fire
>reaction: fire turned blue, followed by an increment in its heat to temperatures above bla bla bla

The author of that communist abortion REEEEEing at anyone criticising communism makes it extra-cringy.

Nah, it'd catapult some single particles of hydrogen really hard and that's it.

Yeah anything with the tag "gamers-against-weed" is absolutely 100% going to be cringe. Stay far away from those.

>t. doesn't know how matter or force works

What do you mean?

Enlighten me user.
What's with americans and thinking that reading a pamphlet of a XX century charlatan makes them educated?

>Enlighten me user
Anon, if you condense or focus enough mass or force into a singular point, then sooner or later, that shit will collapse into a singularly dense 'structure', which is what we most commonly deem a black hole. 498 is outputting enough energy that by all means, it certainly would collapse into one in a freakishly short amount of time, and given how space does have a medium to transmit the force it owuld be putting out, such a collapsure WILL happen once the energy requirments met.

In simply 2 hours, the damn thing is putting out more power than the Big fucking Bang ever could. And even using the post trying to brush it off as "catapulting some hydrogen particles lel", that would STILL destroy everything. Stray particles are fucking everywhere in space, and at those speeds and with such force, they'd essentially vaporize anything in their path using this immense downplay of the raw threat.

The medium is so thin that the clock could even not be able to "touch" any particle. What then?

>gamers-against-weed
This has to be a joke.

The clock functions on a scale that gives no shits about how thin the medium is. Decibels scale logarithimically, not linearly. In a few minutes, it's eclipsing the power output of whole stars and blackholes. In an hour, it's moved well beyond the force of the original Big Bang. In two, it's something capable of obliterating countless universes millions of times over, and so on.

The medium means absolutely nothing here in how thin it may be.

Really its SCPs like this that would destroy everything. Everyone is too busy dealing with the big cosmic stuff or obvious threats that the SCPs that need to be constantly watched would get out of control.
Like the clock or the cakes or some idiot flipping the bag of potatoes that lead to the potato dimension.

>hume level detectors indicate anomalous activity in [INSERT NAME HERE]
>no matter how much they search agents can't find anything
>no reality warping is detected despite abnormal hume levels
>reality anchors don't do anything but don't break either
>eventually hume levels stabilise
>gets declassified
>suddenly counterconceptual division informs foundation what not even they know what is going on and what SCP [INSERT NUMBER HERE] is at the center of strange activity
>cue foundation asking what the fuck is counterconceptual division
>implications that foundation has investigated this phenomenon before but information has been deleted and memories wiped before
>an agent shows up claiming to be a sole survivor of expedition into a pocket dimension
>no records or memories of them
>pocket dimension is an endless expanse of forests surrounding a cabin
>space and time is warped nothing is right
>a humanoid entity can be seen through cabin's window constantly spasming at high speed in its chair making it appear as a blur
This is what I came up with on a spot based on this concept, these events wouldn't necessarily happen in this order
The gist of it is what the guy didn't like what he saw after he peeked behind the veil, locked himself in pocket dimension and went mad from isolation and paranoia. Space and time isn't right in pocket dimension so decades of isolation withpu having something to ground himself on started to erode his sense of self and understanding of how the world is supposed to work

Anomalous thing

They changed the image

They had too

I know

Professor X can put 682 in condition of eternal sleep.

You don't get it. There are unfothamably large spaces of an actual vacuum out there. It's not a "ultramegathin medium", it's an actual lack of medium.
Throwing the clock into one of great voids between galaxy groups would solve the problem.

No, YOU don't get it. That clock, if it is allowed to keep going, will quickly be putting out enough energy for large-scale pair production independent of any medium around it. It will shine like a star, then a quasar, then like the Big Bang. The mass of the energy would cause an event horizon to form and expand outwards at the speed of light. Exponential growth can produce silly results if not constrained by physics, but the clock is explicitly not.

>Throwing the clock into one of great voids between galaxy groups would solve the problem.
At a hydrogen atom per cubic meter, it won't be long before one touches the clock. You're also ignoring virtual particles. Though they average to zero, high-energy environments (like a spinning black hole or the clock) can turn them into "real" particles that carry energy.

You just need to become Irish to deal with the potatoes. Which may be a fate worse than death in and of itself.

We're talking about the DC Universe, you cretin.

New image looks fine imo. Now what that one fuck did to 049 is simply unforgivable.

scp-wiki.net/scp-4812

Also, any of the above three would be hell to deal with.

IIRC the author wanted to change it himself. Which is fair.

I like that deer god thing or whatever. The foundation regularly performs a ritual to keep it contained.

Except the ritual does nothing, it only works because the god believes it works, giving it's seal real power.

The author can want his original article to be changed since honestly there were problems with the first one but don't change what was an unnerving creepy plague doctor with some quirky scientist with autistic outbursts when no one understood what he meant by "the plague" and "the cure" and being intentionally vague whenever he was asked about it

It's heavily implied that 682 isn't alive in the way we understand what life is.

Look at how they massacred my boy. Here's the original, for your viewing pleasure.

Attached: goodnight sweet doc.png (738x1649, 231K)
