Spider-Man beating up Firelord is probably one of the worst instances, while also being one of the oldest. Others from of the top of my head is Black Panther somehow putting Silver Surfer in an inescapable armlock, and Miles Morales one-shotting Blackheart with his Venomblast.

Only one story ever mentioned how powerful his Celestial Armor must beand that was just his fight with Viking Thor.

He can make some big booms but he doesn't have superhuman physical strength. A punch from someone with even moderate superstrength should put him out of commission. His speed and reflexes should also be slower so he really should have gotten the floor mopped with his face.
