Puns.
LOTS of puns.
I watched that show in Spanish and most of the jokes didn’t make sense b/c of it.
Core 90s goth.
A very old man ghost dates a 13 year old goth girl and her parents are powerless to stop him.
Cute, though it gets boring after a while
PUNS. PUNS EVERYWHERE.
Beetlejuice
Beetlejuice
Based superior 90 cartoon that zoomers could never understand.
Lord Moldybutt
I don't remember much other than the episode where al the skeletons come out the closet.
A girl I worked with at my first job was obsessed with this show and had a ton of porn she’d drawn of the characters linked to her MySpace account no I didn’t save any of it, it was bad
Beetlejuice.
Based
What a dream.
This
Best eps in my view are centred around the Neitherworld and Not Lydia's homelife

Amazing intro, too bad most episode don't match the same mood.
I loved the Spanish dub. The guys they picked for his voice had the right tone.
BEETLEJUICE LIED! BEETLEJUICE LIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!
hot goth and weird gay boners
So he's a creeper?
Aww man
He has always been the ghost with the most.
He's a creepy old guy with an underaged bride.
The goth part sounds nice but what the hell is the second one about?
I want to stick my dick in lydias mouth and have her smear her goth lipstick on the shaft from sucking on it for so long.
Based and ghostpilled
Typical stories that have a moral learned at the end with a paranormal flare added to it.
Silly puns, typical cartoon jokes, cliche Saturday morning cartoon plots, "what we learned today is...", and A+ voice acting by Beetlejuice and Lydia.
Go in expecting a show that captures the aesthetics of the movie, but changes the plot and character dynamics entirely.
Don't forget red nails mean period blood.
Isn't she like 17 in the movie?
Puns and fart/puke/phlegm jokes.
Goth shit
She is so goth, she goes to the neitherworld.
she's like 14, but Wynona looked to be in her 20s. Which made that whole line of
"That little girl saw us" make no sense at all.
She's a little girl in the same suspension of disbelief way that Dorothy is in the Wizard of Oz. Except that makes it really weird when in Return to Oz, they cast an actual little girl.
CARTOON BAT! HE'S MY FAVORITE VILLAIN!
Why are so many people under the impression that Beetlejuice is a ghost?
He calls himself "The Ghost with the Most". The movie is about people who have died and become ghosts, with it being heavily implied he killed himself and was originally a Netherworld social worker before being a freelancing bio-exorcist. His suicide was in the original script, but cut out in the final and just implied.
Lydia isn't even that cute
Wrong
did you guys ever notice that while his name is Betelgeuse in the movie and people just pronounce it as “beetle juice”, it’s explicitly Beetlejuice in the cartoon? always thought that was kind of interesting
"Betelgeuse" is pronounced "Beetlejuice" and Beetlejuice is (implied) cursed to not be able to say his own name and can only write it down so people can repeat it. But Adam and Barbara never heard of that name despite being a rather known star (Might be the first sun we'll get to see go supernova and capture photos of within a human lifetime). So anytime they say "Betelgeuse", they mispronounced it as "Beetle Guise". So Beej changes the spelling of his name to be more straight forward and get people to actually say it correctly so they can summon him, and it stays as a trait and unique character name.
Family Guy with every homosexual themes
I wanna see the musical really bad, it looks fun.
I went to this one back in the '90s.
Lydia was eliminated from Ms. Yea Forums way too fucking early. I can't believe the Steven Universe characters lasted longer than her.
Of course not? They were on a TV budget. But yeah, this intro is 10/10 and I wish it was available in 1080p 4K.
If I win the lottery, I'm sitting down with Warner Bros. to commission the musical as a movie that looks exactly like the cartoon's theme song.
I can't believe some cultures think this kind of thing's alright!
He's a poltergeist/demon, ghost is sort of blanket term in the context of the movie
