Reboots are garbage unless the thing being rebooted was already bad though. I prefer prequels or sequels because they flesh out the same world and build on it, they're not just 'remixing' old ideas but helping to build the same world.

I only like prequels if they’re chronologically before the main series but feature an unrelated cast so the issues feel unique and not like we know the resolution by nature of the original series existing.

I think Episode 13 may be my favorite so far, I really liked seeing the daily lives of the Endless citizens in their own homes. Gives them a lot more character and humor. Wish Galaxander wasn't gay, and Dr. Champion definetly has some sort of sickness caused by staying in the Endless for so long.

I am enjoying it and holy fuck did I underestimate Spring Break Forever, that shit was actually pretty dark. I quite like the development of Esther and Todd apart from Reggie, the two carry an episode quite well with their realist perspective. Todd's been rather stressed and I do not have high hopes about his birthday episode, fortunately Scott Pilgrim girl is there to help

Yeah things really great up for the last few episodes. Would be awesome to see some stories involving Esther and the band. It's a whole new dynamic to explore and for her to shine in.

Well Todd Forever was positively kino, the action, drama and tension was delightful and the sound and music direction was positively on point. I found myself rewinding multiple times just to get more off the moments when the sweet electrinic metal music starts to kick in. These last few episodes together are just amazing

Well that was an amazing finale, they pulled out all the stops and finished the show off with a bang. And the Endless people powering up was a welcome bonus, suprised that they were actually going for an explicit kill though, but Reggie made a great call. Everyone got their development and moments.

Even though this show will never get a second season, it was still an enjoyable ride and ended with no regrets.

This is why in S2 Todd and Esther should drop Reggie and get a new friend. like Shane.

Maybe it has to do with the nature of his creation. There is speculation that when creating beings in Endless, your emotions at the moment plays a part. Since Todd wanted a being that was like his brother, perhaps Guy having a kind of wisdom to him is from that.

There actually could be a lot to that. Todd was trying to make a brother, but Borbo was trying to make a new daddy. So that could definitely add to the wisdom factor. There's also the fact of Borbo's participation. Perhaps having a resident of Endless make the new creation imbued Guy with some of that secret knowledge. It's totally meta.
