Puss in Boots Series

Honestly the ending to this Netflix series was really disappointing

You fault for expecting anything good from a show meant for 13 year olds

>Puss and Dulcinea ride off into the sunset to spend eternity with each other
What else do you want

Everything not being undone

I like the 'Fuck whatever your canon is, our OC waifus are real because we said so' approach.

yeah but who cares lol. nobody remembers anything aside from those 2 and the city is safe again. it's a win win!

All I remember is that Dulcinea is a tulpa and that's it. I remember some fragments of episodes and some of the more out there jokes. Like Puss rolling a barrel of milk while the cow stood on a poodle of it.

So many lives were made better because of puss, such as the duchess or skeletons. And puss dos was lost

I just remembered the furry episode

Isn't that every episode?

>13 year olds
That’s being generous. 10 year olds at best

Sush

Wait, I think I know the one you mean.

her eyes are too big

Her HEAD is too big.

>Robin hood is FRENCH in Shrek (despite being an anti-norman saxon)
>puss is a Castilian (despite being a french story)

Is DW retarded?

It's fine.

Dreamworks shows like this, King Julien, and Voltron have a tendency to finish off their best villains too early and then anything that comes after does not even measure up. Only Trollhunters and 3Below avoided it.

You'd think they'd avoid this problem with a definite episode number.

I will give it credit for having the characters end in a very different state than the started at. Kind of the point of the last season, really.

She also has four fingers when everyone else has five.

Its because she is not a real cat, if you haven't figured it out yet.

But not everything wasn't undone. The point was that Puss has and will bring continuous calamity. Being an adventurer does not work for a calm and safe environment. The truth is that many of the issues in the show can be tied directly to Puss or something Puss had done. Even if he doesn't open a portal to hell it would be something else. Another old enemy, another wandering magical monster, you name it.

If it's any compensation, Puss and future Dulcinea had changed and they probably would go about helping his Mentor, Magic Sword master, the witch, and the Golem. This would be because Puss had already been able to resolve the issue and could resolve it again with the character growth he has made.

Kitty Softpaws is, objectively, the better love interest for Puss. Change my mind. Pro-tip: you can't

We'll see more of her when Puss in Boots 2 premieres.

Oh, wait, it never, ever will.

Softpaws was the exact same character they have Salma Hayek play every time.

Hell, that was pretty much the same character as from goddang Dusk till Dawn.

I gave this show an honest watch, I like Shrek, and the Puss movie, and Puss as a character, and even Eric Bauza, but I just couldn’t care.

That’s the only episode I saw, and I felt it was enough.

At least you gave it a try. Can't say fairer than that.

Excellent filename.

Dang.

What's the relation between the movie and the show anyhway?

So why didn't Softpaws costar in the show? Was she too expensive for Netflix to keep on? Didn't they have fucking kids?

I would totally fuck her up the ass

>not fucking a pussy in the pussy
>choosing the poo-poo hole instead

The show is a prequel to the movie, which is a prequel to the Shrek movies.

Oh, a pre-prequel
Not to be confused with a pre-sequel or a sequel

And yet, nothing IN THE ACTUAL MATERIAL suggests Shrek even lives in the show and movie's universe. Official word is meaningless if shit isn't in the actual work.

Well, they do at least feature one ogre.
But yeah, regardless of the prequel setting, this feels more like it's own thing really.

It's terrible. The first season or three are boring but the only payoff in later season after you've watched the boring seasons.

I unironically believe that Kitty Softpaws might have been made for another project but was shoved into Puss in Boots at the last minute. Her art style is drastically different compared to the other characters. It’s like they don’t even belong in the same show.

>good ep

He is the only good thing that came out of the Shrek films. Why doesn't the movie get a sequel? It was a success

There was a romance novel with human Shrek on the cover as well.
