Make her like a platonic Catwoman type villain. She's got a bit of a rougher edge and occasionally does some illegal shit but when push comes to shove she's not a monster.

I never saw before but I really like how she's kinda spunky, but there's hints of a sadness inside that can be explored in more serious stories. It's the same balance that I think made BTAS Harley Quinn take off; she can play the role of a fun villain when needed, but you also like her enough to want to see her redeemed in some way.

Gail Simone did that, but she's literally the only writer who ever wants to use Giganta as anything more than a jobbing henchman or a recognizable face to fill out a villain group shot.

The way they more or less have her currently is a pretty great spot. She's not a good person, but she's entirely an evil person either. She's a woman who spent her entire life being weak and bullied and when she finally managed to overcome her illness and gain power through sheer force of will and effort, became exactly the same kind of person who made her life shitty. At the end of the day, no matter how she rants and raves about how life is unfair and difficult, she's simply a bully, and there is something so incredibly relatable and pathetic (in both senses of the word) about because of it.
