I've been autistically thinking about their dynamic for the past few days. I've got this headcanon where Tak falls back to Earth, but all of her Irken equipment is malfunctional and her Pak is severely damaged. She somehow ends up mooching off the Membranes for their lab after forming some sort of truce with Gaz, which is Gaz agrees with because it would piss off Dib. I think it'd be funny if Gaz constantly sabotages any attempts for Tak to fix her equipment by spilling soda onto it or squeezing pizza grease into her Pak. Anyway I think Tak's consistent presence will make Gaz less lonely and it would be cute.

Males kept the bladed, scythe-like antenna from their ancestors while females evolved to have more curled antenna used to attract males, the curliness of the antenna being oddly arousing to the males. Males were the foragers and providers of Stone Age Irkenkind whiles females reared their children but Stone Age females were stronger and more vicious then males, so much so that most males feared their mates and did everything they commanded. Many eons down their evolutionary line when Irkens would start to relay more on technology (which was particularly early compared to other developing alien races thanks to the Irken’s highly developed minds) the male’s bladed antenna started to regress. It was during this time where Irkens became less savage and more refined and intelligent, leading to the first steps in the golden age of Irkenkind, The Age of The Noyng.
