I’m curious what Moira and Xavier’s grand plan is. We now know that Mags and Xavier want to bring back the 16million muties killed in Genosha. And have effectively created an army of suicide bombers in the process.

There’s still the matter of a mutant supremacy and fighting the machines. Infinite muties via clones really just puts them on even ground on a resource level.

So there’s still gotta be something more.

And to be fair, judging by the forms the Beyonders took during Secret Wars, for whatever reason big damn robots seem to be the Kryptonite for Marvel as a whole.

Ok, so I just got high and I got to tell ya, I got to preface my post by saying I've been perturbed by both this story, ALL bio-science resurections, cloning, mind cloning, Girl Peter in Ultimate and Pixar's SOUL.

Ok. Understand, an eternity in hell fire is where most Souls go, Christian Doctine from the Gospels is kinda clear, the gate is narrow and the road straight that leads to Salvation. But wide is the way and broad is the path that leads to destruction. Few find one, many the other.

So that's what S O U L means to me.

Second, though I do believe in an afterlife I also believe suicides to hell, that Judas made the choice that we are all suppose to avoid.

And that's why I was grossed out a little by every clone story (Except Sinister in San Francisco by the sleeping Celestial). That's why I was disgusted by Peter in Otto's old dying body crying over Mary Jane and the kids. In my mind Otto had tortured himself by burning over his own mind the grandma's of being Peter Parker, he had burned Peter's memories and chemical emotional value systems, he felt like Peter while only having Peter's memories, But it was still Otto Octavius's Soul.
It's a horrible thought but when you have Ok has an after-life then technically his soul would leave the body and Mephisto would be looking at Otto Octavius, impressed with how well Otto tortured himself in the last moments of his own life. But once separated from his body Otto should have supernaturally recalled everything about himself and only vaguely been able to parse the more recent hot burn of Peter's memories.

So when other posters are asking how many Scott Summer's are in hell, they are implying that each baby soul miraculously given to each pod person human would die and be another Scott Summers soul either in heaven or in hell.

Charles Xavier needs religion. He has a good idea but he should have gone internal. You mentioned that they had sailed into heaven and brought back Nightcrawler's soul. Xavier should have backed up the mutants super naturally through the Phoenix , through Illyanna Rasputin, and I guess through Moira Mactaggerd, Legion, and Proteus.

I still think it's too much of a departure from the status quo to be 616. I assumed it was going to dump into 616 as her last life and some of the ideas in it would carry over. The krokoa stuff is cool but charecter personality changes and the outright feeling the xmen are doomed for failure due to obvious fuck ups makes it feel temporary.

All the advertisement shit for after still has alot of krokoa in it though so well see.

2 or 3 years would fuck up different lines of comics working together. Essentially xmen would be in it's own universe which would be cool but only if it never has to merge back. And it will merge back cause the writers are hacks.
