Looking up daughters of Spider-man to find out if the Spider-girl from M2 has any relation to the red electric looking Venom from Alex Ross's Earth X. Burb. Going to try to have intelligent and positive conversation but if Yea Forums becomes a feeling schizoid mess I can just go check out Loki drawings of something.
Hint:Loki was an auto-correct error.

Better question, would MJ make a good mom?

The red looking chick is Mayday from that dimension bonded with Venom

They have the same name but the wiki doesn't link Earth X Venom to M2 Spider-Girl. I remembered there was some kind of link, probably just the name and I was right.

>into the trashverse
I think is more your style

he can be my daddy UNF

I can't wait for Peter B. to be overprotective of May in the next Spider-Verse movie

We don’t know much about that MJ, though, aside that she won’t put up with Pete’s shit (nor should she). If she can keep that manchild in line, a regular kid will be fine too.

I think they're just both named may. Though I do remember that they both do look similar

No.

There's also the little girl in the Spider-man family comics. I don't know her name. Hopefully not Anime Parker.

There 's also Araña,a character who would have been a hundred times better as Miguel O'harra's daughter, or even more sane, if Peter Parker was always a white Hispanic from Queens and his daughter would therefor be half white spanish, half red head american.

annie may is seriously her name, I have no fucking idea why. Though its funny I was just reading through the recent ben reilly scarlet spider by PAD and they had a little girl who looked just like the girl Mephisto tormented peter and MJ with during OMD. But no one ever commented on it at any point

I love you but I would rather we scream together until Miguel O'Hafta and Peter Parker merge into one light skinned hazel eyes semi-jewy (doesn't known how to speak spanish) mostly Aryan Hispanic and May Parker+Poison Symbiote or Anti-Venom Symbiote become Araña.

What? Just keep peter white and darken miguel a bit user. I don't like race swaps that seem pointless, though I wouldn't mind if Arana got her old costume back and became a sort of side kick to pete

The last time I had this conversation it was on Penny-Arcade forums and it pre-saged the coming of Miles Morales. I don't want to do it again. Go back in time and take ask around Queens New York and find out who had no parents and was living in their aunts house when Stan Lee was inventing Spider-man. Then Hypnotize whoever invented Miguel O'harra and ask them why Spanish name/Irish name was used for Spider-man 2099.
I despise 99% of liberal culture, as poisonous as it is, but it has its uses. Acknowledging the white washing of last media is one of them. All the characters in early comics were either Regular (White) or gimmick (Black, asain, Hispanic) main stream characters HAD to be non-denominational in their ethnicity/religion/culturee, but it's really obvious that Peter is incredibly Jewy, if not Jewish, and also, in my opinion he was probably always half Puerto Rican half Irish. No accent, no language, just a regular white American to everybody. New York is a thing.

What else can I say on the subject? Oh, I doing want to talk about how important it is to darker Hispanics they IDENTIFY as Hispanic or how much very type of brown person hates American brown people. I don't want to get into what it feels like to go NOT to a Puerto Rican day parade because you know it gets flooded by dominicans.
I doing want to go into a lot of stuff.

Mostly just how Araña needed to be Peter Parker's Daughter. Or at least Miguel O'harra's daughter.

Boop.

Peter david created Miguel O'hara, I suppose he thought doing a mixed race white guy would be the best representation of the future. But honestly Miguel just needs to tan. But Petes irish dude, while stan lee obviously used some of his own childhood to frame petes personality Ditko made him in his own image, and I imagine he pushed for irish because its the closest to his own history (slavic) while still being popularly american in the 60s. Though I do get what you mean, how do you feel that so many of the hispanic characters in comics being created recently seem to exclusively be puerto rican? Miles Sideways America and the new (and old I suppose) white tiger. I always thought that there's a lot more to pull from in south american countries for characters rather than just falling back on what new york jews think is ethnic but it is what it is, though I got no problem with puertos I live in an area where there are quite a few of them and most are solid dudes, not to ghetto but not to straight laced.

What screwed Arana (besides not being pushed enough) was her name change to spider girl. She had a solid name and solid gimmick she just needed to be pushed in peters books a bit more, make her a ward and give them a rapport

I feel nothing on the subject I am emotionally dead.
Also Bucky Barnes is Puerto Rican. I.M.O. If you looked mixed, or have brown eyes and don't express as an ethnic person, if you have in-accented language, I don't care if your from Morocco or New Zealand, you're Puerto Rican.

Reality isn't even fucking real, yo. You know I found out there were black Germans in pre-Nazi Germany. The other day I over heard two middle eastern/Asian people speaking a middle eastern language in a German accent and I was in awe. I got excited and actually almost felt something socially. I asked them about themselves and I said jokingly that Americans think we are the only people that mix.

Anyway, Araña having a Spanish name but no connection to Peter Parker despite looking a lot like Peter was really bad. It really read as illegitimate child, shamed and pushed off to the side. Very bad. She was so obviously either Peter or Miguel's daughter. (Not mentioning the clones because they're all Peter as far as I am concerned).

So which would you rather? Time Travel plot or all the universes progressing at different rates?
>Daugher
Wouldn't she be more likely to be his grandma?

Also, speaking about Araña, her entire design completely how do you say reversed its value, goes from negative numbers to positive numbers?

If Araña is "some rando" as the kids say, then her lack of a costume reads as chintzy and second hand. Her skin normal clothes showing leave her looking poor and exposed. Her weird exoskeleton looks tacky and vague.

But if she's Peter Parker or Miguel O'harra's daughter than her skin and clothes showing expresses confidence and belonging, more of an adult that her father and able to wear equipment rather than a costume. If Araña comes FROM Peter or Miguel than her exoskeleton shows her mastery of something like a symbiotic or her refinement of something like futuristic technology.

What was REALLY missing from Araña was heritage to do contextualize her look for the audience.

But there are plenty (not really, maybe a few) of innocent fans who we get brining that kind of insecurity to the character so if you like Araña I could understand why you might not see the importance of what I am explaining.

Dude I'm polish and irish and I have brown eyes, we are an earthen rainbow. I assume that arana was just a half thought out idea that never got a proper push. I liked her mostly but got annoyed when she took maydays name for no reason. She has a name and a niche all her own but in this day and age of everyone is spiderman theres never going to come a time where she'll get a chance to be actually unique

Yeah that seems like the point, she was hot on the trend of teen heroes with regular ass clothes with hero logos on them.

No, in fact he's going to kill MJ with his semen

You are making my point for me. That's Superman's younger clone. Might as well be a son he had with Lex, he carries Superman's Crest, is called Superbly and hangs out with Titans.
HE looks cool that way. And Araña would have looked cool too. Is she Peter's secret Love child of something?

I couldn’t be more crazy than you if I tried. Good Christ.

I mean I want to sit on his lap and call him dad.

She’s just some mexican(?) chick whose tribe gave her access to her powers. You’d think JMS would’ve used her since he loved to crank up the South American stuff for Ezekiel

Yeah, wasn't there a May Parker that was hidden from Peter?
That could have been a part of the Ezekiel stuff.

All this could be compressed into fewer stories, Kaine, Ezekial, Ben Rielly, Araña, May Parker.

Honestly May having that costume is both the best choice and plays on the clone conspiracy bullshit in the best way in both giving May a costume and giving her an “Uncle” Ben.

Miggy was Irish Mexican so it was ok, also dirty little secret, 2099 line of comics went into more of the multicultural and leftist storylines and characters but actually did them from a 90s politically incorrect view which worked.

Seeings how he's able to keep himself alive compared to the other Peters, I'd said, you get what you get.

Time Travel plot would be interesting. 2099 goes back to the past to get Peter B. to help with funky dimensional bullshit going on in Neuvo York, ends up getting May instead.
