I've only ever seen the pilot, and I decided that that was the Final episode I'd watch.
Haven't watched it but it's bad
Good first season. Mediocre second season. It needs to have more story, less filler and bring back the season 1 humor.
Wasting time bringing back Avacato and Lord Commander disappearing predictably until the final episode ruins it for me.
Incredibly dull and predictable
It varies from "meh" to "its okay I guess". It could be so much better. It feels too fast paced, but maybe thats because they tried to cram their story into only 10 episodes? Every episode is just rush, rush, rush to the next scene as fast as they can and it ruins any emotional moments they try to have.
I also really cant stand Garys dialog. I got used to his weird "tough guy" voice, but he constantly says dumb shit.
>"What the crap!!"x999
I aaaaaaaaaalllllssoooooo dont like the art style they went with. It looks too cartoony for some of the more serious tones and scenes they have. They'll have a part where It seems like it should be a good heartfelt scene, but then Im looking at goofy saturday morning cartoon characters and Im just not feeling it. Or the part where Avacado is with his old team and all the general are told to execute their own children to prove their loyalty. Its a brutal scene that should be really fucked up, but "LOL silly cartoon kitties how cute!!"
Basically better writing, more episodes so its no so rushed, and change the artstyle and it could be a good Futurama tier show.
season 1 was meh to ok
season 2 was dog shit
>no naked Quinn
They had one job.
It's good and worth watching. But yeah could be better without fillers.
Saw the pilot, which I thought was pretty 'meh' and haven't had enough interest to bother with the actual series.
There's too many other things grabbing my attention anyway.
>last episode Gary didn't take the traitor back because he went too far with hurting his family and stealing the keys
>Let his mom back despite doing the exact same thing because she's a girl
Way to invalidate the previous episode entirely.
I get the distinct feeling the the writers' room on this show are industry newbies that are big fanboys of different sci-fi shows, but have little if any experience writing for actual sci-fi.
That, and executive interference, would explain why the show is so disjointed and helter skelter.
if i haven't watched it and it doesn't interest me, than it must be crap.
While Futurama wasn't nearly as serialized as Season 1 of this, it actually did a good job of balancing its comedy and dramatic elements, and developing its sci-fi world, and making everything feel like a cohesive whole. That's all sorely lacking in Final Space.
it was because his dad would want him to. The moral choice was to do what she would have done or what his dad would have done and from a pragmatic viewpoint the best way to manipulate her would be to make her see his father in himself.
Sheryl is still his mom in the end, he still cares for her despite literally fucking everything she did.
The first season had a good through line making the build up feel cohesive and earned.
if set pieces and character motivations ect were kinda wonky, ham-fisted. I believed in the art n style and story line.
season 2 throws it away with bad pacing, worse writing , and terrible plot contrivances that become glaring without the solid background structure.
I couldn't even be enjoy the adopted son bit or the final word against the terrible mom it feels in-genuine. I canĀ“t suspend my attitude for the sake of fun anymore. its not even funny anymore.
>It's good and worth watching
No, it isn't.
me too
He confronted his mother and told her the sad truth. Her losing her husband was mostly her fault.
Plus his mother showed a bit of regret after that, where clarence only did some bargain for information
Is there any good art of this mommy?
It needs to tone down the comedy and take things more seriously. You can balance comedy and serious situations but this show fails to do so
I get that that's his mom, but it's true. She should have just gotten away or something. Lose her arm and get a robot replacement
Gary's mom is hot.
Fraid not. Not many people find the art style appealing
When did that ever stop anyone? I'm sure it's just lack of exposure. She has that kind of step on your dick personality and tone of voice that would attract lewd artists if they knew she existed.
One of the best sci fi shows I've seen in the last years. Still has its problems, but pretty good.
I think they do that on purpose. You see the series and its comedic mood, but then it plays certain themes and problems really serious and in a heart bunched way, or gives you not good resolution that leaves you miserabble (like what happened with the season finale in season one where everything went shit and stayed shit).
King of reminds me a bit of what would happened if you mixed Futurama with Mobile Suite Gundam.
>people does stupid things for their family they wouldn't for strangers or friends
Like in real life
That's my impression as well. They have a lot of good ideas but don't quite have the experience to tie it all together.
Sadly is kind of right, it's one of the best western animated scifi shows I've seen in quite a while.
Clarence showed regret when he realized Fox was really hurt. Sheryl was taken in because she's a girl despite doing the same shit.
This is the best answer I'm going to get. Still very sloppy writing even though I dont give a shit about Clarence and I hope he stays gone.
Fox and Ashe were quick to abandon Clarence same with Lil Cado and Avacado.
>regret
She literally told him he was an accident and was going to use the keys to bring back his father for her own selfish needs.
I would request art of her but i don't even have a really good template image for her
