The 2099 series but specifically Spider-Man 2099
Reprints of the greatest comics that marvel has been sending to my LCS’ for while.
The Ironman/Ghost saga (4 issues)
A LOT of the old and classic FF comics

This is now a /floppies/ thread, post recent buys/your favorites

Totally fine with that, long live comics.
Spider-Man 2099 added, as well as DOOM 2099.

What's the general consensus about Grant Morrison's Marvel Boy? I like it even though it's pretty heavy-handed with the anti-corporation message, but barely anyone talks about it outside of Hypercrisis threads.

Mark Waid's Daredevil features the single greatest superhero story this entire decade.

Which one

Small list of comics I’ve enjoyed, not just reads, just comics I wouldn’t mind having on my shelf.
>Amazinv Spider-Man
>Avenging Spider-Man
>Marvel Knights: Spider-Man
>Marvel Adventures Spider-Man
>Scarlet Spider
>Agent Venom
>Superior Foes Of Spider-Man
>Superior Spider-Man team up
>A+X
>Superior Ironman
>Thunderbolts
>Journey into Mystery starring Lady Sif
>Beta Ray Bill Godhunter
>Spider-Man Renew Your Vows

Welcome back Frank may precede MAX so make sure you read that first

I really damn like it because of it, though! But I dig how Morrison went ahead with the weird factor of the Kree tech: the imagination-fueled ships, the local Supremor intelligence grown out of the ship, cockroach DNA, the "astrogods fueled by epic genocide" from the First Firmament... He's the only one (aside from Ewing) who can make unseen concepts sound really cool and make it work in the setting.

Always start with Lee/Kirby's Fantastic Four run. It's the backbone of the Marvel Universe.
The Fantastic Four (1961) #1-102
if you want to, you can keep reading until Stan Lee leaves the title in #125, but it's not necessary.

After that, read The Amazing Spider-Man (1962) #1 - 137, where the New Green Goblin appears.

Also suggest reading The Silver Surfer (1969) #1-18, The complete original run

That's really the essentials of Marvel's Silver Age.

I'm a big advocate of Hickman's Avengers/New Avengers. Secret Wars is meh, as is Infinity. But they both have cool moments and are tie ins.

That's a good fucking page

Are you the same guy, that did same thread for DC comics by year? Can you share your table?

>Spider-Man 2099 added, as well as DOOM 2099.
Based. Good shit. Long live comics.

I am the same guy. So far it's this atm, but I'm gonna work on it later

I'll post later

Based, been recently buying a shitload of FF reprints and I really like them and enjoy them.

What Morrisonian concepts had Ewing used? He is more similar to dumb Geoff Johns concepts like multi coloured Lanterns and Zoom corps.

Gerber's Foolkiller was in the 90s.

oh my bad

Pfft haha, similar to Johns, sure pal. And no don't come at me saying you're right, I'm not even going to dignify an answer.

Am I supposed to find that to be creative?

You're not supposed to do anything, aside from staying delusional.

Thanks. I'll be waiting.

Alright. Life bringer Galactus and One below all are at the same creative level as the works of Moore, Morrison and Ellis.
