That's a pretty weak motivation, to be honest.
It's better than Majin Buu, at least, but it still really sucks. That's why Imperfect Cell was better. He at least had a goal and an endgame to strive towards
Once he got the androids, it was basically just "well, got nothing better to do, might as well dick around and show off". Just doing something because he can isn't very compelling

He'd probably want to go off and explore the galaxy.
With Frieza's cells he doesn't need a ship, and his Namekian and Saiyan cells will keep him growing stronger and stronger.
I'd imagine his Frieza cells would also compel him to play around with the remaining Frieza Force (Cell Force?) as his Saiyan and Frieza natures would most def. give him motivations to conquer.
No doubt with Cell Jr's acting as his persona elites.
