So wait until then to make a thread, genius.

Kind of excited, but also there's other things to watch.

gotta get the hype train a rollin', genius.

Is it? Wow, that was a short week.

Not holding my breath.

>simpsons was mostly a parody of family sitcoms
>futurama was mostly a parody of classic sci-fi
>disenchantment isn't that much of a parody of fantasy rather tries to be fantasy with some comedy

>.jpg
>not gif

You dun fucked up OP.

Hmm, I don't remember Bean's top being so low-cut...

Wake me when F is for Family comes back

Then you can call me when the Bojack comes back

Tuca and Bertie died for this?

I wish they didn't just plop all the episodes all at once
this is NOT a show I'll binge like Bojack S4 so discussion is gonna be all over the place

This train sucks :c

Hi I'm Elfo

Same, hopefully Disney+'s model makes them reconsider

I wish demon to be more like MTT pigeon-ish
And you are dead!(as I remember)
D-Do you have a patreon?

Fuck off Elfo

When does it get good? 5 episodes in and I'm dreading continuing

It quickly escalates at the last

We don't know yet

Honestly was bored of the the entire season. Only the cliffhanger made me think they might do something different.

It kind of doesn't. It offers some promise that it may eventually get good, but that's kind of all at this point.

Yes.

>Buddy Thunderstruck S2 never ever

What hype?

They’ve made a few... changes.

the show fucking sucked

Ten Hypes

The new backgrounds look nice and give more of a personalized vibe than "generic medieval city", I'm excited

Ew.

Also the fact that they're visiting literal hell at least sounds more interesting than anything that happened in s1. OP could've linked to the trailer anyway.

It's ridiculous how the medieval fantasy comedy show has got so much better artists than Dragon Prince does.

I can't wait for 10 episodes of a show to drop at a once, watch it all in one or two days, then forget about it!

Ugh.

It doesn't get worse if that's a consolation.

It’s a slow start all the way through.
It doesn’t get good, but it shows some promise that s2 will be better.
I’ve watched enough shows that have awful first seasons to give it that chance

I have no idea where all of you people see the promise that S2 might be better.
Maybe they improve on the story, but that was only one part of the problem.
The biggest problem was that it's a comedy show that's simply not funny. Barely any joke made me chuckle and a bigger number were cringey.
Also the characters aren't that interesting.
Unless there were major changes in the team, it will stay just as creatively bankrupt.

Personally, if they're able to flesh out th3 characters more and make more interesting stuff happen, I don't care that much about the comedy. I know already that comedy probably won't improve and they'll just keep doing variations of the same four jokes already done better in the simpsons and futurama, so I gave up on that.
However I'm still hopeful for a role reversal between elfo and luci that ends up with us having asshole elfo back and luci becoming a jerk with a big heart of gold. There were signs of this possibly happening, so I'm hopeful. As for the rest... as long as the plot isn't insultingly bad like say, starvs, and the action is decent, I'll be okay. That's what I mean when I say that I hope it'll be better.

This is not S2, this is the second half of S1, they were made at the same time as far as I know

S1's biggest problems were the fact that the main character trio just weren't that funny, spending so much time on Elfo's crush and hyping up mysteries that wouldn't even be explained until a lot of time later.

It looks like they’re gonna focus less on jokes and more on lore, which always makes stuff good

>which always makes stuff good
Not for something that's supposed to be a Simpsons/Futurama kind of show.

What always worked for those was the 100 jokes per minute style of writing.

It doesn't get worse, but it doesn't get any better until pretty much the penultimate episode.

... which is just a bunch of cliff hangers thrown against the wall to hook at least some people into S2.

I can only imagine he's being sarcastic. Focussing on lore is never good.

Oh for sure. And I'd bet dollars to donuts they pull the same shit this season.

I completely forgot medieval futurama existed

Underrated

tfw no beer-swilling girlfriend

The first half of the season is the funnier half so if you're looking for laughs give up now. The story ramps up in the last 3 episodes though.

Why? Does it have anything to do with you being a shill by any chance?

everyone is a shill for the stuff they like

What did you expect?

this

BEANS IS TRANS ?!?

You mean Deado

Sure.

Blackadder did it too well.

trash show

It's a reference to a Simpsons joke.
'Cause all Disenchantment has going for it is "made by the Simpsons guy".

based

It makes for a better binge watching experience to be more serialized.

>"I'm drowning!"
>"I'm Elfo!"
Thats the one chuckle in the entire season this annoying wimp managed to make out of me.

You don't want a hopeless alcoholic for a girlfriend. Trust me.

What if I had a hopeful alcoholic for a girlfriend? Y'know, one who acknowledges their problem and seeks to correct it, but is still open to having a strong drink whenever the situation asks for it?

Thats not how alcoholism works. Alcoholics are either drinking themselves to death or completely clean, there is no inbetween with them.

Sexy

Hi I'm el barto

I wanna give dick to this buck teeth degenerate

Fine, I'll just have a girlfriend who drinks every now and again.

Dammit, just let me have a girlfriend.

Kill the series.

Try more action, less Simpsons comedy. Adult animation comedies are a Dime a Dozen.

No.

For what purpose?

Does Disney+ not drop full seasons at once? Fuck that, I hate artificially being forced to wait and unable to choose my own pace. I'd rather watch 10-15 hours of content in a couple weeks than over the course of several months.

>When does it get good?
Should I tell him?

Yes.
