Last thread died too early and I couldn't wait to post my newest haul edition. Fucking Comic Con made me spend WAY WAY too much, but also great deals....so I'm broke but happy.
that is Warlord 22-63, about 40-50 issue of Chuck Dixon Nightwing and about 60+ issues of Silver Surfer (those last two were basically fill a bag for $20 so I filled more than two and he didn't care)
actually all 3 of these were dollar bins (or less) finds. Like how do you have the entire run of 1602 in a dollar bin? Storm is missing issue 1 and 12, but Avengers Invaders is full, all of Ellis Hellblazer, a small gap in Azzarello's Hellblazer but fuck...finding this much Hellblazer for a buck each was nice.
my stack of signed stuff except for the right column. oh yeah, OP pic trades are signed by Tom Grummet (X-Men Forever) and Beauty signed by Haun. I had a lot of fun talking to creators this year, all of them were very friendly. Though Mark Texeria was a bit...stand offish, but when I showed him the Thor to sign he opened up a bit and said how challenging an issue it was cause it was so emotional.
>Like how do you have the entire run of 1602 in a dollar bin? I get it at comic stores where they don't know shit, but I've found Kirby issues at my LCS in the dollar bin before. I don't get that shit.
Jaxson Young
This week I only bought the first Snyder's JL trade, maybe I'll get more stuff tomorrow.
The Ellis Hellblazer makes me jealous.
Joshua Carter
who are the best Hellblazer writers? >Delano >Ennis >Ellis >Carey who am I missing?
Justin Baker
Jenkins is fine, Diggle run could had been fine but got cut too short, i haven't checked out anything post vertigo aside from the first series so I don't know if the list grew bigger but I'm doubtful it has
Jack Watson
All the postVertigo stuff has sucked, but Spurrier's new book might be good.
Adam Brooks
Oh yeah, I read some Jenkins from the library, I liked it. Actually made me a big fan of everything Jenkins does. His Thor is one of the best Thor Books ever.
Matthew Torres
His Spider-man was great too, aside from Ramos art in some parts.
Christopher Taylor
>Warlord nice choice, user. How much did the bag cost?
Jace King
I haven't bought anything yet. But I am going to take my nephew for the first time to a comic shop this Thursday. I already told him he can get whatever he wants.
Thomas Cook
Recent Moon Knight Annual by Bunn was really good. Check it out lads. He will certainly be getting an ongoing to coincide with the upcoming show. Any guess on who the writer will be? Perhaps Bunn again
Ian Adams
he price tagged it as $80 but told me to make a deal. So I went through his dollar bin and $2 bin and grabbed about 20 other comics and offered him $80 for it all and he made the deal. DESU I didn't get much good from his dollar bin except maybe that Sergio comic. Still, I can't complain, he tagged me as a Grell fan immediately and he was losing money at the con cause he was buying shit from other vendors, so he just need profit and marked me but not in a bad way
Justin Roberts
Cullen Bunn already had a stellar run in MK if he writes it again I'm in.
I have high hopes for Spurrier, Coda was so good, I want to get it but the first trade is not available in the local Amazon and is overpriced at the LCS that has it.
Jace Harris
I agree that has all sucked in general. I would rate them though, from most suckage to least, as >Constantine Then the DCYou and Rebirth series are kind of at the same level. I'd give the edge to the DCYou series though, because I preferred the artists (Riley Rossmo, even though he was slow and had to have fill-ins, Ming Doyle, Travel Foreman, and Vanessa del Rey) >Constantine, the Hellblazer >The Hellblazer
The rebirth series showed a little promise (returning John to Britain), but quickly faltered. The writer they got brought back long forgotten Delano lore (Mercury and the travellers), but pretty much wasted his twelve issues telling a meandering story that never got resolved. Tim Seeley wrote a more cape-ish arc (The JL appears in a dream sequence, and Huntress stars in his second arc), then someone random did a two-parter about Constantine in the US again. Seeley returned for another arc (connected to his first), but the damage had already been done, and the book was cancelled. It's funny, both Tynion/Doyle and Seeley had John trying to pull off big gambits in their last arcs, and those arcs mostly worked.
Tyler Bennett
Shit, I meant to make a note about the rebirth series' art. It was almost entirely uninteresting. Hellblazer is no stranger to odder art styles, but this series was rough. Moritat was phoning it in for the first arc, and then it sort of turned into fill-in mode. The funniest fill-in was Philip Tan. Tan's art can be great (and he did some good stuff in the New 52), but THIS just didn't fit the story that was being told. Not really right for Hellblazer, but more interesting than the sort of "house" stuff that came later.
I read Warlord a bit and it was some solid reading, enjoy the issues.
>on topic posting I'm only ordering some reprinted floppies to stick into poster frames to liven up my wall a bit. It's cheap, if nothing else at under $2 a pop.
I just saw there's going to be a signing of some big artists near my house this weekend should I bring a ton of books to get signed? is that rude or awkward? should I ask for a sketch? The only one I've ever met before is Liefeld
Leo Torres
This week I bought the Werewolf by Night omnibus and the FF by Byrne omni.
Matthew Garcia
don't bring too many books, like 3 max unless you are buying stuff at the table. I think Sketches are voluntary, but idk too much about that
Nathan Taylor
>should I bring a ton of books to get signed? I think 3 is a reasonable number, but if you must get more I would do it in batches, get three and get back in line.
>should I ask for a sketch? They will probably add something small of their own volition but dont expect that they should. If you want a sketch in another piece of paper they will ask to pay them too, almost certainly.
Xavier Ward
What I hate is going to those "upscale" thrift stores that get stuff donated and then go on line and price it based on ebay. The had unbagged and taken out the boards and put a bunch of floppies into regular bankers boxes (like copy paper boxes) where they can swim around with all that extra space, and were trying to sell 1990s and 2000s issues for $3. They don't even sell their Playboys/Penthouses from the same time frame as expensively.
Carson Johnson
Can't wait for all of you to get buyer's remorse in 5 years and then trash your boxes of floppies after realizing this industry is doomed forever
Asher Hughes
Please put these threads on hold until I get paid so I’m able to buy more books, thank you for understanding everyone
Robert Morales
Anyone bought the physical copy of Cheshire Crossing? I finished it yesterday then I learned that it's cheap to get a copy and that I'm in love with Alice. Also the artist is one of /pol/'s favorite toys, but that's neither here nor there.
Chase Thompson
>Punk Mambo signed by Adam Gorham Based. What's with the pornstars underneath?
>What's with the pornstars underneath? you're comic con's don't have a bunch of lewds? this was some burlesque dancer selling a bunch of cards where she made goddess write ups on the back of each. Chatted up her and her husband for a while, very nice people. Fuck Sandiego Comiccon where they don't allow that stuff anymore, let people have fun
Joseph Davis
Anyone have the Infinite Crisis omnibus? How is it with that page count? I want the contents but not the massive tome, and the way the tie-ins are collected in trades seem absolutely retarded.
Me.
Austin Peterson
Big ones for me are Ewing's Ultimates 2 and Unnatural vol. 3.
Justin Murphy
Remember kids, it pays to visit your local library from time to time.
Here's what I've been able to buy from mine over the last year or so.
>tfw no Hellsing Omnibus What are you waiting for Dark Horse?!
Brayden Morgan
Well we don't really have proper comic cons in the sense of the word, no... Just a very expensive merch sale of items I don't give a fuck about, no artists beyond some "big head on the beach" caricaturist, and a Let's Dance Tournament. Oh wait how could I forget, the two stands where they sell dollar bin floppies at mint/new prices despite being OLD AS BALLS and in poor condition some of them, and the other where they sell the most pedestrian trades and hardcovers also at international prices and make it so they're doing you a favor because "the economy, y'know". Ah, and the "Lolita Cosplay" section, which is absolutely not what you think.
Anyway cool cards man, they look nice, I like porn/sexy stuff but not when it's posted on the board, that's my limit (not your stuff, that stuff is nice).
Joshua Sullivan
What do you guys think of my friends longboxes? 1978-2001
I really dig those out of continuity standalone miniseries/trades that celebrate a character. I'm thinking of stuff like All Star Superman, the Loeb/Sale books , Alex Ross " The World's Greatest Superheroes", Cooke's DC New Frontier , Silver Surfer Requiem. What are some other Miniseries like these.
Here is stuff from last weekend. Harrow county is getting really fun, I'm about to finish the last trade today. Hoping to get headlopper vol 3 this Wednesday, the new hellboy issue, new rumble issue, and maybe tommy gun wizards if I find it
Harrow County was very enjoyable, problem is I've completely forgotten it's second half. I'm sure it's good, but it didn't leave an impression.
Anybody else very disappointed by Berserker Unbound?
David Edwards
Fucking hell. I've ordered so much recently, telling myself I would hold off for a while, and now just tomorrow's new releases alone are a full order. Headlopper vol. 3, Beasts of Burden vol. 2, 20th Century Boys vol. 5.
>Harrow County >Prophet Based. I was slightly curious about Tommy Gun Wizards too.
Was issue 2 bad? I know I was pissed when I realized Deodato was clearly tracing. I've never read a book by him before, and I really liked the art until that suddenly clicked and ruined it for me.
Lucas Hill
Went to SPX this past weekend and bought too much stuff. Have a few pics but i’ll Just post one for now. Still exhausted and glad to be back in town, but it was an amazing time, as it always is. Got to meet some of my faves again too, like Simon Hanselmann, Katie Skelly, and Jaime Hernandez.
I unironically read it for the cartoons and articles
Adrian Brown
>The Handmaid's Tale Have you been watching the show? I've wondered whether to read it, but seems like it doesn't go as far as the show does so I haven't really bothered yet.
Henry Jenkins
Any good sports comics? I know there's plenty sports manga, but I want another flavor
Based collection, dollar bins are the absolute best. You get so much cool shit from them
Charles Flores
>Daredevil Yellow >Hulk Gray >Spider-Man Blue How are they?
James Green
Terrific, with Spider-Man Blue being the best
Austin Hernandez
>symbiote Spider-Man >Hulk vs Santa What library did you get this from?
Cameron Rivera
kek >Well somebody likes the shooty-shooty. I don't follow. Are you referring to the punisher books? They're awful I know.
Gavin Lee
The Punisher, Dredd, even BPRD... Lots of guns!
Luis Ross
I see. I guess I do like the shooty-shooty
Zachary Cox
Nice, thanks for the answer, wasn’t there another colored issue? If not I have to check them out, what’re the stories about without too many spoilers.
Ayden Morgan
Captain America White >what’re the stories about without too many spoilers. They're about the early years of the character
Luis Carter
They're not really unique stories. More like tributes. Captain America White is recounting his origin Spider-Man Blue is Pete reminiscing about Gwen Stacy's Death.
Bentley Edwards
They're all retrospectives/tributes on the early years of the characters.
you can tell this person suffers from at least two mental disorders and serious daddy issues.
Zachary Garcia
Just reposting this cool sketch from one of my favorite artists at a local con a week ago. And a couple of indie books but nothing to show off imo. Got stuff in the mail too.
was intended to be a really bad joke about his nose. i apologize.
Tyler Flores
Reminder that the comics industry is a cancerous cesspool that should have died years ago and buying TPBs in any form equals supporting SJW leftist propaganda.
I was so fucking pissed when I went home from college one day and found out my dad threw out all his old Penthouse and Playboy magazines from the 1970s to 1980s.
William Reed
With that Netflix adaption coming out soon, what do you think the chances are that DC will reprint the Sandman trades with the original coloring? Because if they do, I'm going to be FUCKING LIVID that I've been buying the 30th anniversary editions.
So how good the Marvel HC are? I'm getting cold feet on the Immortal Hulk one and maybe I'll go the trade route if they don't include extras.
Ryan Ortiz
They're very good in my experience, and they tend to add the regular stuff you see in the trades. Don't get cold feet! I'm going to buy it too.
Aaron Cox
cool shit! I legit downloaded a recent Playboy for the Gail Simone Vampirella comic and got distracted reading all the articles I love when artists can make a silent comic work, and this delivered on that. >Captain America White isn't that like...a little bit racist?
Carson Brown
bump
Lincoln Bailey
Just grabbed this book. I haven't dug into it yet, but it seems pretty interesting. Talks about comics and their roots in a lot of non-Japanese Asian countries.
Nice. I'm bummed I had to miss SPX this year. Did you go to any of the panels? I definitely would have liked to see the Cartoonist Kayfabe one. Who are Queen of the Damned and Odd Noises in Empty Rooms by? They both look cool.
Apparently Hanselmann has a comic in the newest Playboy.
Frank Thorne (yes, the Red Sonja guy) had a comic in Playboy. Guy is the archetype of the perv artist. Playboy used to attract a lot of good talent in its heyday.
Oliver Fisher
My local one. People donate books all the time, and normally they end up selling them dirt cheap instead of adding them to the collection. It's rare, but comics sometimes come in too.
When I say dirt cheap, I mean DIRT CHEAP. That whole thing was less than $3.
Charles Nguyen
Bro fuck you how lucky, so if I go to my library and see if they have any donations (specifically comics) they might have some
Jayden Bennett
Thanks a lot, will definitely put them on the list to buy
Tyler Collins
>Two Hellboy books a quarter of an inch taller than all the others.
Reeee.
Bentley Jenkins
For the person who was womdering what Misery Love Company looks like here ya go. Kinda reminds me of Jeff Lemires are
Does shelf have any regulars that people can instantly recognize?
Cooper Turner
>Shred me for my shit taste A lot of that is on other shelves so I'm not sure what you're expecting.
Jordan Cox
We have that loki user, and that user that built his own shelf, also that venom user, judge dredd and there is a bunch that I recognize but dont have names for
Gabriel Fisher
Vampi user too. We have cards for some people
Connor Bailey
Get the 2nd volume of Sunstone. It is rewarding.
How do those The Darkness compediums hold up? I know the Witchblade ones fall apart too easily
Bentley Watson
Marvel-now was my first foray into comics, when ever I get new stuff I give them away to friends to make space. Ive got a fair bit of manga (mostly shonen garbage but I like it) but the notable stuff ive got is the complete run of vagabond, some jojo and some junji ito.
Lucas Wright
My library doesn't sell floppies, but I've gotten some decent trades at dirt cheap prices. Some good fucking books too. Discard sales rules.
Zachary Fisher
The pages are holding just fine but the inner paper bit of the spine? has peeled away a bit, probably because I didnt stretch the spine when I read it
Josiah Rivera
Not this shit again
Kayden Reyes
Mainly the villains. Boxman, Agent 312, and Princess Venom. But it’s been a while (thankfully)
Hunter Harris
Yeah there are some very recognizible shelves but none of them use trips /shelf/ is a strange general.
Gavin Watson
I actually use a trip, but I drop it when I post here... I don't like attracting unwanted attention, it's better this way. Plus like you said, lots of these shelves are recognizable on their own, no need to insert ourselves in them.
Michael Nelson
Where were you when TheComicsJournal proved they were hacks by hating on our boy?
>none of them use trips Thank Christ for this. I’ve always hate tripfags and to be part of a general that doesn’t have any is a blessing
Isaiah Morales
I don't remember the title but I recognize middle bottom as a Philippine comic that once appeared in Mango Jam. Maybe.
Andrew Bennett
nice to know , Rod, always wondered if you were in these threads
Carson Stewart
You might. It's possible they'd ship it off to another location and to be sold there, so you should ask them for this info.
Samuel Richardson
It's weird because he got big doing Hip Hop Family Tree for them They must be salty he turned traitor and did a lowbrow comic for us simpletons who can't understand real comics
Jacob Nguyen
>I haven't bought anything yet. But I am going to take my nephew for the first time to a comic shop this Thursday. I already told him he can get whatever he wants. Good uncle, I have also been going this recently with my nieces and nephew, make sure they know how to take care of them and buy him the $1 reprints if you can in the case he’s destructive. No point in getting an original comic or expensive one only to have it ripped up.
Blake Powell
That was said 15 years ago
Christopher Lopez
Never feel bad about haggling, worst you can get is a “no”
Ryder Gomez
Piskor is a hack
Austin Richardson
I stopped posting because everyone always just made fun of my Millar books
Colton Williams
How old is your nephew? Buy headlopper vol 1, it's a great and easy to follow story, the art is perfect for young kids, and it's just fun. It's a little bloody but I feel like children are exposed to worse just watching tv
Ethan Roberts
user your shelf is remarkably average. Good to see someone else bought that Deadly Class omni. Now I don't feel like I was the only one who got onto Remender's wild ride.
Jason Thompson
bump?
Daniel Perry
whatcha reading
Ian Thompson
Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen. I'm not sure what to make of it, but a comedy book is always nice to have. Now I'm waiting for some actual books to come in, so I'll be reading those.
Carter Thomas
A friend lent this to me recently, very bizzare but Im enjoying it
Im thinking of selling my Astro City hardcovers and waiting for a better collection down the road. The binding sucks and even on such small books there's ridiculous gutter loss. And the spines are horribly ugly on a shelf.
>GUNNM you mean Alita? What are your thoughts on it so far
Tyler Myers
Nearing the last stretch of 1980s Vigilante Holy shit this book is rough. Shame it will never get reprinted after the first trade did so poorly. Adrian and Peacemaker are nuts
Jacob Flores
Nice, Michelinie and Layton Iron Man is great
James Hall
I recently took the autism pill and slightly arranged stuff by edition size/format like you guys, and damn. My shelf is far more aesthetic now. I was skeptical at first but I like it.
Anyone read Invasion? I never have, but this was just such a weird release with a team I like so I had to get it. Once I'm done reading Infinite Crisis I think I'll go back and blow through the other big events just to say I did.
Big Damn Sin City is OOP, right? What'd you pay for it?
Daniel Turner
undeniably
Aaron Young
Definitely OOP but not too terribly rare. Got mine for 90 which is a steal
Oliver Russell
Invasion was pretty crappy. I'm pretty sure that Giffen said back when they were collecting it that "DC must finally be scraping the bottom of the barrel!", which is funny because he's doing that pseudo sequel to it right now that you bought. It was the second or third year after CoIE, and DC was in "do big yearly events" mode (see also Millennium and Legends to a much lesser extent). It has some good Todd McFarlane art for the first two issues, then Bart Sears takes over (McFarlane had to go back to Spider-Man). Claremont seemed to have a weird thing for it, because he parodied it in one of his Outback X-Men series (with the Dominator's Gene Bomb replaced by a JEAAAAN Bomb).
A couple of the tie-ins were great though. Ostrander used it to highly elevate his Suicide Squad story (the Squad had just been revealed to the press following the assassination of a US Senator, and Waller used the Invasion to get good PR). Swamp Thing was also sent back in time due to one of the Dominator's weapons.
Invasion did directly lead to the excellent Giffen/Grant/Kitson L.E.G.I.O.N. series. I expect some references to that team in the new series.
Gavin Martinez
I really enjoyed it, I bought the whole Ghost saga plus his return, I was very pleased with it.
Sebastian Davis
That is a big damn steal. Good for you user
Joshua Moore
>The Punisher was conceived of by Gerry Conway, then-writer of The Amazing Spider-Man, inspired by The Executioner, a popular book series created by author Don Pendleton, in which a Vietnam veteran, Mack Bolan, becomes a serial killer of criminals after the Mafia-related deaths of his family. Conway described the inspiration in an interview from 1987: "I was fascinated by the Don Pendleton Executioner character, which was fairly popular at the time, and I wanted to do something that was inspired by that, although not to my mind a copy of it. And while I was doing the Jackal storyline, the opportunity came for a character who would be used by the Jackal to make Spider-Man's life miserable. The Punisher seemed to fit."[8]
Only if it's in like the top 5 percentile of stuff I've ever read
Thomas Johnson
I've only read the Bus from him, I need to grab that book and his Hieronymus Bosch one
Logan Barnes
Is it that obvious?
Easton Lewis
Cool. What's qualified for you so far?
Blake Sullivan
Off the top of my head? Hellboy (went from trades to libraries), Batman Year One (went from trade to absolute. Great absolute to have by the way, since it includes copies of both colorings on both paper stocks.) DC new frontier (paperbacks to absolutes, what an awesome comic.) Bendis Daredevil (went from trades to omnibuses, which I had sold them off when I heard the news of the reprint. Woulda made a cozy buck.) Miller Daredevil (also trades to omnis.)
Probably a bunch more. Usually it's a case of going from trade to omni. The omni has to also be affordable. Like, I'd love to replace my Thor Masterworks 1-3 with the Thor Omnibus 1 but that thing is like a thousand bucks so no thank you.
Isaiah Morris
Tell me about that Paul Kirchner book, I've been looking for a collection of Dope Rider for a while.
Asher Young
bump
Levi Parker
Its rad. I dont think its a complete Dope Rider but id need to do more research. Its just a bunch of selected works including some fun smut
Samuel King
Guessing from what his website says, I think it might be all the old Dope Rider stuff and extras, before he brought it back in 2014. Probably planning on releasing a second volume when there's enough material.
Nolan Collins
there's that guy who has all the chew stuff including a boat load of chogs.
Ethan Ramirez
Just saw this in the new Marvel solicits;
>DAREDEVIL/ELEKTRA: LOVE AND WAR GALLERY EDITION HC
Are these just oversized editions or IDW-style 'artist editions' where the artwork is in the original format?
Owen Hernandez
rad. Dude is great
Evan Torres
Enjoy that Hellboy my dude. The first trade I ever bought was Hellboy vol 8, from a dusty old used book shop with a huge porno section in the back.
Alexander Ramirez
Usually gallery edition means artist edition.
Chase Campbell
Nice, I've got my eye on that Future Shocks book. I might move that up in the queue. Hope you like Hungry Ghosts. I thought it was a bit lack luster but not bad.
Grayson Walker
Yeah that's what I thought, but in the past Marvel have always licensed their artist editions to IDW
William Morgan
Both Elektra Lives Again and Love and War were printed in a wide format larger than the normal trade or issue, so the Gallery Edition will probably present the art in it's original or larger format and not squished to normal comic size like the omnibus does
Samuel Morgan
well idw's pretty much out of business, so who knows
If we keep buying Orc Stain he will come back to the book...right? Kinda, cause I'm in lots of your storytimes
Caleb Bennett
I'm serious. Back in February, their adaptation of Wynonna Earp was halted as the company was looking at selling. In March they hired J P Morgan to consider a total sale of their holdings. In June, IDW Media Holdings reported a $3.7 million net loss, with $1.6 million coming from their comic publishing. That was the second quarter financials. Last week quarter 3 was released, and they lost another $1.5 million
Cameron Carter
I keep chancing upon copies of Akira #38. I believe this is the 10th copy I've bought. With the announcement of the remake, it might soon be time to sell.
On an unrelated note, I'll be traveling to LA from Japan for the first time in a few days. I'm bringing my largest suitcase to stock up on comics.
Which shops in the LA area would be great for older floppies or discounted/remainder marked trades?
>milquetoast wikipedia summaries by some random loser whiteboi >completely ignoring graffiti and B-boys >soul
Isaac Green
yes
Jonathan Cox
I couldn't name a single one
Christian Fisher
What is Tales from the Crypt?
Parker Nguyen
Then you're pretty casual.
Asher Carter
educate yourself, then return to /shelf/
Easton Evans
We can only hope
Jaxson Reed
OOP
Grayson Flores
>copy Kyle Baker's KRS-One comic >but boring and without style
Jaxon Reed
have you seriously never heart of Steve Niles? Have you never read Vertigo?
Jonathan Parker
Great stuff. Alack Sinner is fantastic. I need to buy The Puma Blues at some point. I loved Zulli's TMNT issues
Andrew Myers
Got this today. I'm a little disappointed... There is only 50 pages of classic Katy. I expected a mix of eras because that's what Archie does but I really thought the book would be at least half Woggon. Oh well it is what it is.
Ive heard great things on Alack Sinner but this was sorta a blind purchase. I got them both for 15$ total so I figured it was a well worth blind buy.
Brody Phillips
>Were these just a random assortment of issues you found or did you want these particular ones? Great question, and Well a little of both really, went to a couple LCS over some time and checked their 2099 stock and bought what I could when I could. Surprisingly rare, the only character that anyone has the original copies is Spiderman. Bought the Punisher 2099 #1 as a sign from God that I should have it (went looking specifically for it and it was the ONLY issue there at really cheap) couldn’t say no. Still haven’t found any Doom, or Ravage, or GR, or Hulk 2099. But I shall continue looking. My personal favorites are SM2099#1, #15, #33
Dylan Allen
Yeah I've never been able to find any 2099 outside of SM2099 at any of my LCS. Found my copy of #1 in a dollar bin sale one of my shops was having, and just the other week found a copy of SM2099 Special and 2099 AD Apocalypse(and the foiling on it is ridiculous) in the dollar section at another shop, beats buying them online and lord knows I'll probably never see a full collected version of the 2099 line. Did buy some Ghost Rider 2099 online from mycomicshop and it was definitely worth it.
Well then you have some homework to do, go read comics or not and just keep shit posting
John Garcia
>Found my copy of #1 in a dollar bin sale one of my shops was having Lucky as hell, I got the #2 SM2099 for $1. >Did buy some Ghost Rider 2099 online from mycomicshop and it was definitely worth it. I need some GR2099 in my life it was one of my favorite runs with the best adaption of the character. >just the other week found a copy of SM2099 Special and 2099 AD Apocalypse(and the foiling on it is ridiculous) in the dollar section at another shop the foiling is the absolute best on all the first issues and the reason why I bought the first issue of SM and Punisher.
Nolan Flores
Man Conan Exodus was great. Pick it up boyos
Zachary Sullivan
Anybody going to the Harrisburg comic con this weekend?
Brody King
it was pretty good. But honestly the best comic coming out now is HoXPoX, the only thing that is close is Lucifer.
Easton Carter
Agreed. I already posted about it earlier in the thread. Just fucking incredible. I hope Ribic does another.
Gabriel Roberts
Yeah HoX was great too. Emma is based
Ethan Lopez
Let me save you guys 5-10 minutes: it's a heap of crap. Even Pichelli's pencils are butchered.
what is funny is that Emma seems to be the most in character and the one not completely brain washed by X. I'm fucking loving the nudest mutant storyline but wow it's weird. ya fuck that, this is nepotism at it's peak
