We got a list here, they says it's subject to change. What do you think so far? attractionsmagazine.com
Me? I'm sadden that there is no Fillmore or Buzz Lightyear on there, but that could mean they could come later.

I want to fuck disney+
>”every movie and tv show available day one”
>it’s not every movie and show
>Was skeptical
>cnt-f "blackbeards ghost"
>they have it
>cntrl-f "that darn cat"
>the have both
>and mr toad
>and either the 3 cab show or film, but not both
Tempting....
They have the 90s marvel cartoons as well as the pre disney shows that were canceled (sans spectacular) neat
Captain Marvel automatically makes it must-buy for me
>Legend of the 3 Caballeros is on there
Good. I would have gone spare otherwise.
You think we'll ever have those great threads of the show like we did two summers ago?
>No Fillmore!
>No Dave the Barbarian
It's not perfect.
I need to watch this
I love Donald and hear this show is grand
When we get some sweet 1080p web-dls, definitely.
>Bonkers
>Hercules
>Mighty Ducks
>Quack Pack
>Recess
>Teachers Pet
Will be nice to finally get some decent rips of these series.
>Darkwing Duck
Hopefully including the episodes that never got a DVD release.
>The Little Mermaid
>The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
>Timon and Pumbaa
Maybe not in the cropped widescreen that they've been available in for a while. Though probably not.
All in all pretty fucking underwhelming. I'd hoped they'd have EVERYTHING so we could finally get good rips for all their series that've never gotten properly released elsewhere. Also no mention of their classic shorts?
>It’s been two summers already
And yet It feels like just yesterday
It's a nice bunch, but yeah, when you don't see your favorites on the list, it feels like it's lacking. As for the shorts, maybe?
>Three Caballeros
Nice, now I can watch the whole show.
>Hercules series
>Bonkers
>Mighty Ducks series
Fucking finally.
>Doug
FUCKING FINALLY I CAN REPLACE MY SHITTY VHS RIPS.
my guess is that they aren't uploading literally everything at launch for two reasons;
1) so they have stuff to add later on, cause "new" content helps retain subscribers
2) some of the stuff might need work to be ready to put on there
>no House of Mouse or Mickey Mouse Works
Come on Disney I wanna see Minnie's feet in HD.
>Will be nice to finally get some decent rips of these series.
Disney+ better be rippable or else a good amount of Yea Forums will be very pissed off.
And I know a good number of cinephiles will be pissed if the movie transfers are the usual DNR versions that are on their Blu-rays.
Maybe. It´s a way to attract new viewers to the show
>Don't Look Under The Bed
I knew I didn't imagine that shit. I haven't seen that since it premiered.
>No WOY
WHAT THE FUCK
>No Spectacular Spider-man
What could this mean?
Did they actually say they were gonna have every single movie and how available day one?
>Hercules series
Gonna watch it only for her
I like that Randy Cunningham is there, but really, no Kick Buttowski?
>90's X-men
aww yis!
>Doug's Chubby Buddy in HD
Alert the cartoon fatness wiki
That sony owns that series
>Doug
Finally, we can get Brand Spankin New Doug in something that isn't late 90s VHS quality.
Spectacular Spider-Man was made by Sony, Disney never had the rights to it beyond airing rights while it was on Disney XD. Sony also owns the MTV cartoon. The only Spider-Man series that Disney owns which isn't on there is the 60s cartoon.
>Adventures in Babysitting (1987)
youtube.com
You going to keep the line Disney?
They fucking better Satan.
>some of the stuff might need work to be ready to put on there
>Disney """remastering""" stuff
F
Everything is rippable. It might take some time to crack but eventually someone will.
>Literally not going to advertise you have a fucking new top-tier Donald Duck show exclusive to your service
Thx Disney
>None of the Jetex shows
Can't say I'm surprised.
Is it even possible for Disney to air any of the PR seasons they did?
I guess the only caveat to this list is that this is the Norway list and things could change for the main release in November. Hopefully though it's this plus a little more.
>Phil of the future
Where you at fellow future chads!?
youtube.com
Wait what
>The Simpsons Movie
I wonder if the penis scene will be in it.
>she’s in
Hell yes. I’ll wait for the new Gargoyles miniseries before subbing, tho.
>it uses the European Version Only edit
>Recess: School’s Out
Yeah I'm in.
I can't wait for all the megas uploads it's going to feel like Christmas
>No Freddy Got Fingered
>No Kung Pow Enter The Fist
>The Simpsons
Give me info on the Japan branch too.
Pretty solid. I'm pretty happy with this lineup. Only a few things missing that I wanted. Mostly 3rd party Jetix and Fox stuff that I didn't expect them to get.
>Oban Star Racers
>The Magician
>Aladdin TAS
>Buzz Lightyear of Starcommand
>Make Mine Music
>No indication of what shorts will be available
>Only 1 Diary of a Wimpy Kid film
>Ice Age TV specials but not the movies
Are they only putting a few fox titles on just to push the Disney brand first and advertise the Fox additions more later?
>imagining some kid leaving Snow White on auto-play and going straight into Tom Green kino
Yeah, you'd think they would have put Aladdin on the starting line up becuase of the remake (plus it being one of their most famous animated movies). Also wanted Buzz on there too, as for something from the Fox Kids era, Eek would have been a nice addition.
>TV shows
>American Dragon
>DuckTales (1987)
>Gargoyles
>Hercules
>Iron Man: Armored Adventures
>Goof Troop
>Kim Possible
>Mech X4
>Phil of the Future
>Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja
>Spider-Man (1994)
>The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes
>The Incredible Hulk
>Wolverine and the X-Men
>X-Men (1992)
>X-Men Evolution
>Tron: Uprising
They're missing the Aladdin series and Spectacular but damn that's got my attention
You didn't hear?
youtube.com
I just realized they don't have Motorcity. Which is weird since they have Randy Cunningham.
Post movies/tv series that should be on the service eventually
>pretty great starting lineup
>missing shows can still get on the service in 2020.
Yeeeeah. I’m thinking disney is gonna make a ton of money with this.
where those shows at the very least will have dual language?
The strategy is "Hey we might not have your Favorite Movie/Show right now, but we definitely have some things from your top 5. "
No, but that means they should have Ying Yang Yo, SRMTHFG, W.I.T.C.H, Alpha Teens on Machines, and (maybe) Oban Star Racers in the future.
Don't forget
>Is bundled with Hulu and EPSN
They're going to fucking slaughter
looking at some of the omissions it's clear they are making a 2nd wave for later.
Disney only ever distributed OSR. The rights to it are owned exclusively by Sav! The World Productions
>the black cauldren
I'm actually surprised they didn't forget
They have to, every WDAS film is here but Make Mine Music and The Rescuers. What odd films to omit.
those will probably end up on Hulu
yeah Simpsons is a bit of an outlier content wise for Disney+
>Post movies/tv series that should be on the service eventually
my assumption is that eventually Disney will put more or less everything they own that doesn't have rights hangups on there, they've got no reason not to after all
agreed it's going to be brutal for Netflix and some of the lesser streaming services
>They have to, every WDAS film is here but Make Mine Music and The Rescuers. What odd films to omit.
honestly don't blame them regarding Make Mine Music, has to be the worst Canon film made during Walt's lifetime, as for Rescuers hard to say
Wonder if they will add the studio Ghibli movies eventually?
Disney lost those years ago except in France, Taiwan, and Japan.
Maybe The Secret of Arrietty, maybe, since Grave of the Fireflies is already on Hulu.
The big thing is Miyazaki really doesn't like streaming and flat out refused to let his movies to go to anything. Which is why the only Miyazaki movie that has been streamed is a Lupin movie, and wouldn't have any control what anyone does with it.
japan disney+ better be ripped or at least let me find someone with it so i can ask them questions, its starting to look like the best option for me
>honestly don't blame them regarding Make Mine Music, has to be the worst Canon film made during Walt's lifetime
Really? Why?
Despite that though, I gotsta have the whole collection.
>The big thing is Miyazaki really doesn't like streaming
Why does grandpa have to be fucking angry about everything?
For me, it's Onions Luna: en.wikipedia.org
Oh shit, I forgot about that. This thing is really gonna have something for EVERYONE. Families, college students etc. Disney going hard with this.
>No Bob's Burgers
dropped
it's kinda terrifying that they have the rights to all this shit, isn't it? shouldn't they be forced to give up some of the rights to, i don't know, amazon or netflix?
I'd be more fucking scared of Amazon then anything Disney could do
>Billy Dilley
now we're talkin
>The Parent Trap (1998)
Nice
dunno, many of those were shown in Toon Disney with SAP
>Bonkers
>Billy Dilley
>Doug (including Nick's run?)
>Legend of the Three Caballeros
>The Replacements
>Teacher's Pet
The absolute mad surprises...
>Amphibia
>Aladdin
>Buzz Lightyear
>Bear in the Big Blue House
>Dave the Barbarian
>House of Mouse
>Motorcity
>Pepper Ann
>Wander Over Yonder
>Zorro
Where are they?
>Bob's Burgers
>Eek! the Cat
>Oban Star Racers
>Those unreleased DTVA pilots in one container
If only...
>>Eek! the Cat
Bring my boy and his girl back.
>it's kinda terrifying that they have the rights to all this shit, isn't it? shouldn't they be forced to give up some of the rights to, i don't know, amazon or netflix?
honestly by Megacorp standards Disney is fairly clean, not to say Disney hasn't engaged in shady dealings, but compared to many other companies it's fairly light
>Doug (including Nick's run?)
nah Nickelodeon still has the full rights to the episodes made for it, it's the main reason they changed up so much of the show when it jumped to Disney
>Bob's Burgers
that is going to be on Hulu along with anything else Disney owns that isn't All-Ages material except The Simpsons
Do you guys think House of Mouse would ever get a remake, with all the new Disney IP?
Wait who am I kidding, they would never risk it. Pretty sure they're trying to get us to forget the original existed either.
Bob's Burgers feels perfect for Disney Plus's demo tho, they have a bunch of PG-13 stuff on there already and it's mainly aimed at teenage-20s girls.
Shit I forgot to add Nightmare Ned to the last list
There are several House of Mouse movies on that list, but not the show for some reason.
Well damn, at least the movies made it.
Er, a couple of them
>House of Villains
>Snowed in at the House of Mouse
There were House of Mouse movies?? I just remember loving the show when it was on Saturday Disney.
>Even Stevens
Based
If they'll do it in the US is anyone's guess (they won't) but it'd be a hell of an omission in the Netherlands and Europe, where Donald is much more popular.
The Movie is the least of the worries about possible censoring. There's a ton of post-classic seasons shit that is Family Guy tier.
Forgot Penn Zero
Yeah, there's already a TV-PG edited version of the movie on FX anyways. (Only edit is the penis scene tho. Swearing, drug use and Homer's middle fingers were still intact.)
After that crazy crossover in Ralph Breaks the Internet, I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t consider making a similar series.
>that crazy crossover in Ralph Breaks the Internet
That was Disney forcing a "we're sorry most of our movies in the past weren't PC" message into an unrelated film. The entire fucking point of them being there was to show that things are different now with women.
I've already gotten a 2nd job to buy the lifetime pass. You have to trust that Disney will keep it worth it.
Yeah, House of Mouse was nothing like that shit scene. Mostly because it was actually good and didn't shit on Disney's artistic and cultural legacy in the most shallow and lip-service-y way possible.
Why does every female character these days have to be either a boring invincible robot or a manic pixie dream girl?
The lack of the Aladdin series buffles me, but fuck. That's a lot of good stuff.
Oh hey, Cool Runnings.
We are entering a new era of duck billed waifus.
>Flight of the Navigator
>Spacecamp
>Bedknobs and Broomsticks
>Pete's Dragon(1977)
Gonna have a nice nostalgia trip.
>The Rescuers Down Under, but no The Rescuers
?
The series is in the television list
Add The Gods Must Be Crazy to that list.
Someone's going to get pissed about that one and I can't wait.
I'm surprised it included the original Pete's Dragon. I thought they made the new one specifically because of how problematic the original was.
I wanna rewatch:
>Darby O'Gill and the Little People
>Recess: School's Out
>20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
>Tron: Legacy
But they still won't touch Song of The South.
>20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Another gem for the trip. Too bad Poseidon Adventure isn't listed.
Nope.
I was hoping "The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh" would be available, as I'd like to see it again. But this list will do.
If Disney negotiates with the co-producers of those shows.
Also you forgot Get Ed (animated by a Canadian studio).
>No Song of the South
You could at least cutout the animated segments and make it viewable or something if they really need to compromise.
Does anyone even care about that movie?
>>No Something Wicked This Way Comes.
Maybe they're keeping it for next October?
>The Book of Pooh
I legimitely freaked out when I saw this. I never thought this show would ever be legally available ever again. Loved this as a kid
You think they would show Pucca on the service?
Needs less superheroes and more princesses
>no Sister, Sister
what about princesses who are superheroes?
no proud family? I oculd have sworn they said it was launching with Dis+
>Gummi Bears
>DuckTales
>Rescue Rangers
>TaleSpin
>Darkwing Duck
>Goof Troop
>Bonkers
>Gargoyles
>Timon & Pumbaa
>Quack Pack
>Mighty Ducks
>New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
>The Little Mermaid
>X-Men
>Spider-Man
>Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends
>Marvel Action Hour
>The Simpsons
>select classic shorts
All that matters. Just add Aladdin, Raw Toonage, Marsupilami, Wuzzles, the rest of the classic shorts, the 80s Disney Channel shit, and all the Baby Boomer nostalgia stuff like Zorro and Walt Disney Presents and we're golden.
The list has the movie but not the show for some reason.
This only mean we could finally get some good rips.
Disney+ allows you to download anything for offline viewing, though there's probably gonna be some sort of DRM catch with them we haven't heard of yet. Once that's cracked, you're good to go.
who would be brave enough to pirate from the mouse?
sounds like an easy way to get your door kicked down and dragged into the Disney Vault
>Boy Meets World
Damn it...
Makes sense. I know that the Criterion Channel uses whatever DRM that Microsoft makes to protect their stuff even when downloaded.
You're only in trouble if you get caught.
Calling it that it's being saved for Year 2.
Then it'll get a weird trailer like Simpsons did
They'll probably bring the series on Disney+ with the movie.
>feet in HD
Disney owns that show actually I don't think they even need to negotiate
if I were Disney, just add everything animated on their distribution library, even the DFE, DIC, Jetix, and Saban shows they still own, along with Crusader Rabbit
Maria feet were better in that show anyway.
>20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
>absolutely 0% chance of a new rip without the tealing
notonbluray.com
Why are we still here, just to suffer?
Aren't all the classic Disney movies on Disney+ based on the blu-ray versions as well? Pretty sad.
It's funny how all the Marvel animated series in Disney+ are better than their current ones.
better than the current comic series?
>that moment in the movie where Bart puts a black bra on his head so it looks like he has mouse ears and says "I'm the mascot of an evil corporation!"
>this scene will be on Disney+
Holy shit.
A shame how they're the only Saban shows confirmed for D+ at ths moment
Modern corporations love insincere self-mockery as a way to make them look "down to earth".
>not The Why Why Family which can easily be shown like a never before seen in the US show and could get an audience
>80s Disney Channel shit
Ah, back when they were premium
>Spider-Man (1994)
holy shit, they got it
still a better DRM situation than with video games
Not really, it’s become more of a meme. The only reason to have it (or at least the animated parts) is more to show people where the theming of Spalsh Mountain came from.
It's the lesser of two evils. DRM in any capacity is bad for the consumer.
Skimming through, I noticed they put The Skeleton Dance on the list, despite being a short. So I guess that one’s a priority?
is it going to be removed from hulu?
Why does it have Cap 1 and Civil War, but no Winter Soldier?
Because WS was shit I guess? Only reason I can think of to not include it.
Haven't checked, but if CM, Ironman 3, and Thor 1 and 3 aren't there I'd take that as confirmation of the theory.
>Because WS was shit I guess?
Winter Soldier is easily top tier MCU what the fuck are you talking about?!
Family Guy had jokes about mickey/disney censored after the fox purchase on Disney owned networks. I'm sure they'll cut them out of the Simpsons for Disney+
>Hercules show
Nice.
They do own hulu too and might be fine with doubling up on some stuff.
I'm kinda scared about The Simpsons. I heard that some episodes are stretched and some are not. I'm hoping you can change the aspect ratio like on Simpsonsworld.
>No Indiana Jones
Boo
It's not a show, but they also have Richie Rich's Christmas Wish on there, which was a Saban produced movie that aired on Fox Family. So more of the Saban library will probably be put up eventually.
Viacom is probably trying to hold onto the distributions rights to the originals while they can, same applies to Doug
Disney has no claim to the Nickelodeon seasons of Doug, nor any desire to acquire them.
The Disney seasons was pretty much a fresh start for anyone viewing. Certain characters did change thanks to the time skip.
>Robots movie isn't in the list
What the fuck Disney?
Barely any muppets
Fucking Disney
>No Zorro TV Series
Shame.
youtube.com
>Hercules series, but no Aladdin series
That seems kind of odd to me
>Show finale happens
>Phil and love interest finally get together
>The also fix the Time Machine immediately after
>They both regret all the time wasted not going out due to their cowardice
That was a oddly melancholic finale for a generic tween comedy sitcom.
>
>Mazevagina because the other ducks wants to rape her and spoon out the other ducks semen.
Where are the PG-13 Fox Sci-Fi movies? Why buy Fox if you aren't gonna put Independence Day or Minority Report or I'Robot on the service to add sone more family friendly action films?
Interesting enough stuff the have me mildly interested but not enough to bother with another streaming service that isn't Netflix.
They can't show all the cards in their hand yet since they're going to need to show the service will be updated.
