If season 4 is on-par with season 1, would you forgive it for season 3?
If season 4 is on-par with season 1, would you forgive it for season 3?
no the damage is already done
Season 1 was shit though. As was season 2
If season 4 was like season 1 I'd be mad because my favorite season is s3.
>Rick and Morty comes out
>Yea Forums sucks its cock
>Ricky and Morty becomes popular
>"le reddit and morty garbage justin is a hack"
please tell me you realize you're hipsters, right?
>Pickle Rick
>Szechuan Sauce
Some things can never be forgiven...
There’s actually two people on this board. I never liked Rick and Morty, the other guy always liked it
it's not their fault you fell into their shitposting trap like brainlets
The Szechuan Sauce meme was kinda funny, but I will never get over the fact that so many think Pickle Rick is one of the best episodes, when it so clearly is one of the worst
it's an okay episode, the action is entertaining enough and the serious parts are nice if you don't self insert as rick like an autist
this user is onto something
No. You don't have to forgive something just because a later thing is better. That's like saying you can't complain about the diarrhea you had yesterday because you had a solid poop today.
>Pickle Rick is in the house tonight....
You know you loved the hype for season 3.
>Szechuan Sauce
this was legit funny, until it blew up so hard and McDonalds bought into it for the free advertising
Yes. Season 1 is still the best one so far.
Then it looped back around to funny again when Harmon reeed over a company making money off the product that he promoted
Anyone who thinks season 3 was that bad is a jagged piece of glass in the anus.
No
It still had its moments, but it spent waaaay too much time making Rick out to be this invincible Gary Stu that has practically none of the good aspects from seasons 1 and 2. Thank fuck the finale knocked him down a few pegs again.
That's literally every show though.
The protagonist of every single show ever rarely loses.
Rick still had traits that showed deep down he loved his family. And even he screwed up now and again (like when he Cronenberg'd the world). Season 3 Rick was infallible, always won, and went too far in establishing dominance without showing any care for Morty.
>they redecorated Yea Forums for one night only during the pickle rick premiere
What the fuck even caused all that pre-episode hype? What caused that one single joke to become an all consuming meme that tainted EVERY single corner of the internet?
Season 3 sucked because Rick as a crazy action hero is fucking retarded and it's retarded every season they do it, but navel gazing over Rick as a character is the other half of why season 3 is so bad. I bet you fucking teared up when Rick tried to kill himself in season 2. Fuck you.
No, not really. And I agree that season 3 sucked, yes. Parts of it, anyway.
Isn't that what everyone has been saying though?
That we've been watching a different Rick from another timeline the entire time?
I’ve never seen such unanimous praise as I did for the R&M pilot; and even as the first season acquired some critiques, even the most ardent critics would still concede that the pilot was fresh, unique, and fun to watch. Guess it just goes to show how far removed 2013-2014 is from now
No?
What parts did you like?
the tales from the citadel episode alone redeems any wrongdoing s3 might have done in other episodes
The citadel. Some of 'Morty's Mind Blowers'. Beth finally realizing she's a massive cunt. Hope that last one sticks.
Fucking yes?
It's literally because of season 3 and the autistic buildup to it. The whole fucking internet was calling it the fucking smartest/best show on tv at the time, so of course this board would turn on it.
It’s the worst
