Personally, I think Salvador Espin draws a good Deadpool. Kind of brings out the (Somewhat subjective) charm of the character.
What artist do you think suits specific characters the best?
Ivan Reis on Aquaman
David Marquez Tony Stark
Jim Aparo Batman
Gary Frank Superman (for obvious reasons.)
Curt Swan Superman
Byrne's Reed Richards.
When I picture Cable, it's the Ian Churchill version.
Captain America by Zeck, probably because I first read Cap in Secret Wars.
Ron Garney for Daredevil. Chip Zdarsky is also good.
Forgot image.
Ed McGuinness will always draw the definitive Deadpool to me.
Humberto Ramos does a good Spiderman
Frank Brunner on Dr Strange
Jesus Saiz is another one I like in a very different style
Shit everything else unfortunately
That's a weak example because he doesn't even draw a good Peter half the time.
Stakoe Moon Knight
Mark Bagley for everything spider-man related.
McGuinnesspool for me
I'll post a few o' mine!
Cappullo's Batman is PERFECT to me. He's like an unstoppable human wrecking ball under Capullo's pen and I love it.
Shit. Forgot the pic.
Declan Shalvey's Moon Knight is simultaneously ethereal and gritty, reflecting the character perfectly.
Darwyn Cooke's Wonder Woman, yo
Snyder doesn't deserve him. Also a lot of credit should be given to his regular team of inker Danny Miki and colorist FCO Plasencia. His stuff never looks as good when they aren't involved.
guruhiru gwenpool natch
Ed Benes does a good Huntress and Black Canary.
Kelley Jones on Scarecrow is a godsend.
His style is really hit or miss in some aspects when he's drawing ordinary people. But when he's drawing monstrous characters it works really, really well.
I don't know if he's ever done a Clayface story but he definitely should. He seems tailor made for the character.
Saying Michael Kaluta and The Shadow is cheating because Kaluta is single-handedly responsible for refining and defining The Shadow's modern design, more so than any other artist sans the Rozen brothers.
So instead I'll say Eduardo Barreto, who is really, really underappreciated.
