what no cocaine and no bell peppers does to a mf

>Micheal Jackson
Stop listening to pop trash
Anyway, have you guys listened to the last The Cure record?

i have aids wtf

Nah, Bad is clearly better. Some songs on Thriller are too disco-ish and that makes the album dated.

gaybros, it's over...

>Michael Jackson's new album is so cool and just as good, if even better, than the last one.

For me it's Living in a Box by Living in a Box from the album Living in a Box.

Guns N Roses finna save rock no cap

I have a friend who was inspired to become a hobo since hearing this song as a child. Classic.

This new ep sounds pretty interesting, anyone else think they'll be influencial?

It's the End of the World as We Know It is the best song of the year, probably seconded by Where The Streets Have No Name or like True Faith.
As for albums? Holy shit Spacemen 3 is good. This could really go somewhere I tell ya

The Smiths - Louder Than Bombs
The Smiths - Strangeways, Here We Come
Celtic Frost - Into the Pandemonium
The Replacements - Pleased to Meet Me
Sonic Youth - Sister
R.E.M. - Document
Squirrel Bait - Skag Heaven
Dinosaur Jr. - You're Living All Over Me
The Lemonheads - Hate Your Friends
The Sisters of Mercy - Floodland
Mayhem - Deathcrush

Not an amazing year, but decent for mellow alternative stuff. Too bad it seems like hardcore might be going away. It's starting to seem like this hair metal shit is going to last forever. Been living in Seattle for a little while, and it's always rainy here, between the meaningless pop bullshit on the radio, Reagan's fucked corporate politics, and the shit weather, it seems like me and everybody in Seattle wants to die.

i've been tape trading with a friend in Seattle and he gave me "Soundgarden"'s Screaming Life EP. This shit sounds heavy as fuck! You aware of this?

bumo

They've been getting some buzz. Also a band called Green River, who half the time sound like the Stooges and half the time seem metal, and a straight up glam band called Malfunkshun. There's also a neat band called Skin Yard. It's shaping up to be a nice local scene, which is good because it seems like the only Pacific Northwest bands anybody's given a shit about for a while are the Portland punk bands like the Wipers and Poison Idea.

Bros...they were just starting to get popular

SST was more popular than you think. These guys were relatively big in the 80's indy sense.

This song became the first MTV theme.

Whitesnake's remake of Here I Go Again is better than the original

Floyd heads ate that shit up. Crimson Heads were like "Tony Levin totally fits as Roger Waters' replacement".

None of it was true.

I kinda liked it, it's not as good as the earlier stuff, but it has some good moments to it.
