This. At least writers like Ewing are self-aware of it, and he even had future Captain America Dani Cage tell the 616 Avengers: "Yeah, my future ain't ever gonna happen, the events that caused it were avoided in your timeline".
And then there's idiots like Bendis who is all "Tony Stark will totally be Sorcerer Supreme in the future, guys! I'm sure that the writers that come after me aren't going to ignore me the same way I ignored them!".

She's the only one who had her own comic for a long ass period of time and the most developed of the Parker kids. Of course she's the best.
It's normal because men have a biological drive to protect women and when it comes to daughters you know other men are going to want to get in her pants and take advantage of her vulnerability. But the best thing you can do for her is making her self sufficient and the means to protect herself because you're never going to be there 24/7 for her.
I'm going to assume that J.J. wrote the story with his son, and Henry is writing the actual script.
All I know for sure is that Pichelli is doing the artwork, and that means my boner will have something new AND of high quality for the first in a long while.

Judging by these first pages and the way they're framed, it looks like JJ Abrams took his son's script, assembled a storyboard, then sent it to Pichelli, who drew over the story. Even the panels look like storyboard frames and not the sort of thing an artist who has to follow a script consisting of "panel 1/panel 2/panel 3".
Of course they'll tell you it's legit 616. Until another writer comes and retcons the fuck out of it away.
That is if Abrams can even finish the story.
