>Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) is a famous public hero in 1984, retconning "Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Justice League", in which she abandoned humanity for 100 years after World War I.
>Diana is recruited by the United States government to investigate Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal), a corrupt businessman believed to be working with the Soviets. Lord has the power to grant people’s wishes, but at a costly price, and is collecting magic artifacts to become a god.
>Barbara Ann Minerva (Kristen Wiig) is an introverted archaeologist who admires Wonder Woman and wants to be like her. Lord grants her wish, turning Barbara into Cheetah. However, Barbara struggles to control her animal side, and lashes out when the public begins fearing her, forcing Wonder Woman to intervene. Cheetah believes Wonder Woman to have betrayed her, and swears revenge.
>Lord also grants Diana’s wish to reunite with Steve Trevor (Chris Pine), who is revived in the 1984, trading places with Diana as the fish out of water who must acclimate himself to a brave new world. Their reunion is bittersweet, however, as Lord ultimately transfers his soul into Steve’s body, forcing Diana to fight against - and ultimately sacrifice - the man she loves.
We're really about to get Diana snapping Steve's neck, aren't we
Dominic Carter
>Maxwell Lord I like that DC is finally doing something with its nicher characters.
Nathan Campbell
>retconning "Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Justice League" I'm already on board.
Luke Sullivan
Really are trying to erase Snyder. Based.
Grayson Allen
>>Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) is a famous public hero in 1984, retconning "Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Justice League", in which she abandoned humanity for 100 years after World War I. A part of me sorta doubts this. I think she'll be known to the government in the same way a Black Ops team is.
Andrew Anderson
I don’t know, they could be changing the DCEU to more match New 52 Earth-2, with Wonder Woman as the first public hero.
Connor Gray

However, Barbara struggles to control her animal side, and lashes out when the public begins fearing her, forcing Wonder Woman to intervene. Cheetah believes Wonder Woman to have betrayed her, and swears revenge. Let's turn Cheetah into a carbon copy of Jamie Foxx's Electo from Amazing Spider-Man 2, people liked that movie, right?
Christian Perry
>I don’t know, they could be changing the DCEU to more match New 52 Earth-2, with Wonder Woman as the first public hero. Isn't that what they're animated movies are already doing?
Josiah Wilson
I hope having to sacrifice Steve becomes a running gag in every movie.
Kayden Bell
Nah, Superman was a thing, hell the Earth-2 Justice League counterpart was called The Wonders of the World or something like that.
Dylan Adams
With the exception of the wish part, I'm 90% sure that's her Rucka Rebirth origin
William Flores
>Max Lord grant wishes >Electro Cheetah >Diana compromises herself because of 70yo dick >Final boss is superpowered Steve Trevor what a mess
Zachary Scott
WW was a decent movie but Steve totally carried it. How are they gonna force him into the third one?
Carter Moore
This Cheetah characterization sounds exactly like ASM2 Electro
Jaxson Bell
Identical grandnephew
Noah Phillips
Hades will be the antagonist and Wondy will have to venture into the afterlife, she'll find Steve there.
Jayden Nguyen
>Based Totally. Now lets have 84 roll into the Batman introduction set in the 90's, and build off of that to make it so his movies never took place.
I hate that they’re going with the boring villain take on him.
Cooper Moore
The Barbara Ann focused issue of Rucka's Rebith Wondie series is the single worst big two capecomic I've read. A spot previously held by Harley Quinn road trip.
Carson Sullivan
So what's the costly price of Lord bringing Steve back going to be?
Cooper Clark
One More Day?
Oliver Jones
God what an ugly rat face. Can't wait for the next Wonder Woman.
