I have so been in that moment where I try to make all the servings even and I gotta scrape off some and it’s just tedious.
What are you doing sittin' at the TABLE?!
These were really good when.I made them. Courage was so good.
That's not macaroni and cheese
Id hope so it just seems to be plums with whip cream in a cup.
But fuck me to imply thats bad at all.
how did courage get away with using the same voice clips all the time in a really charming way.
>Whats-HUH?!
>Oh my!
>Yay!
>Blah Blah Blah!
they were just really well done and well used.
Except Muriel used vinegar and sour cream. You tell me how the hell to make that taste good with plums because apparently she found a way.
That's the joke
I know, I'm just saying this isn't one of those TV recipes you can easily recreate and have it not taste like shit
oh...I forgot the details then.
she always used vinegar in everything didn't she?
Yes. It's a running gag.
the tower of dr zalost is the best episode of courage
fight me
I never gave it much thought. Must be because old people lose their sense of taste. I know the show was the first place I ever heard about cajun food.
thanks babish
this. same reason they reused voice clips in ed edd n eddy and it worked just as well
Huh this show used A LOT of 3D and detailed textures.
Funny enough, once I started studying culinary, I also end up using vinegar in almost everything.
I really love that "PS1-FMV" style of CGI.
The music from that episode was a banger, too
Can't believe they only produced 2 full length episodes.
I kind of dig the 3d in this show. It feels very striking and contrasts with the 2d background to make shit stand out and look creepy.
It’s better
It was a surreal, unusual, and absurd cartoon so the audio work reflected that tone.
Freaky Fred was better. I can't think of any other kids cartoons whose entire episode premise is, "A scary poem read by a freaky barber".
Underrated
is Muriel and Eustace an interracial couple?
one of the more spookier villain designs
man that bit when they switch heads and are running around would kill me as a kid
I agree.
Mmmmm Granny Stew
vinegar is more versatile than most people would think. Acids can really enhance flavor, but sadly tend to be overlooked.
for me true sleep killer was Demon in the Mattress.
Sure.
yup
IT'S DOC GERBIL'S WORLD
Reminder that those plums are capable of completely curing one's depression. They're like edible hope.
I can't, it really is the best episode, but this was definitely a runner up too, to the day that episode still freaks me out.
THE MAN IN GAUSE
>We will never get clean soundtrack
ITS NOT FAIR
Based soundtrack fag
I liked this episode because Courage, Muriel, and Eustache actually had to work together instead of Courage saving his two oblivious owners or Courage saves the day while Muriel is a victim and Eustache is a punching bag.
It would be lovely if I could have a cup
of
TEA
What was so good about it?
It just seemed like a pretty generic fantasy story about a villain who needs wuv. Do people just like it for the cool tower or what?
My man.
Definitely my two faves.
There is nothing to worry about, nothing at all.
But there is nothing I can do.
Aren't they baked plums?
The space squid episode made me cry. Don't tell anyone.
HULLABALOO
REMEMBER?
The things i do for love
Whatcha were your going yah fool
Kill yourself Smashfag
Pickled in vinegar, baked and served with sour cream
That looks so goddamn delicious
There is nothing to worry about. Nothing at all. Nothing at all. The swelling is going to go down. Just keep soaking it. There is nothing to worry about. Just keep soaking it.
This genuinely fucked me up as a kid. I'd end up changing the channel when it came on just to avoid the risk of my family seeing me cry over the pink dog cartoon.
SANTA CLAAAAAAUS!
This episode was basically perfection
The one thing that always bugged me about this is that it’s basically showing that the only person Eustace can be kind to is himself.
I don’t think he knew? I mean, he didn’t have his glasses.
Wholesome
It's not that absurd. Creme Fraiche is pretty similar to sour cream, and is often served with sweets. And there are vinegars which have quite a sweet flavor profile, even if that probably wasn't what they were thinking of when they wrote it.
his tongue being torn off by the lollipop terrified me as a kid
Chocolate is bad for dogs.
You are plums you mong zoomer
You are potatoes you fag swooper.
Interesting. Have you tried something like Happy Plums?
lmao
nice
Can't say I have. Might have a shot at it the next time I see some decent plums for sale.
>Muriel! Close the Windows, It's Drafty!
Žalost is good overall, but that one episode where Courage defeats all the villains in his basement by screaming his lungs has that moment as the top tier scene in the show.
glad to know i wasnt the only one
Don't do this to me.
"you're not perfect" was designed by john's older brother who died in 2001 before the final episode aired
milk chocolate isn't that bad for them. it's pure or dark chocolate that fucks them up
A lot of people say that thing freaked them out but it never really bothered me.
This fucking mask on the other hand, is like an icy hand grabbing my soul.
The unique kinda of weird horror in Courage has yet to be achieved again in cartoons
