This album feels like it’s the 2000s and it’s summertime and you’re lazily laying on a mattress on the ground with your best friend in a drowsy bliss inside a lower middle class suburban home. It’s perfect
I never knew I needed Grindcore with thick as tar Sludge sound combined with at times self-referencing and self-aware hiphop bravado.
More like Chud
brother we must venture out of Asian music
Pretty much all of his albums on first listen but this one especially.
Love the acid-inspired artwork on that AC.

Please don't hate. But this was a revelation to me.
Mars Volta, from one of their few radio singles and an interview ,one of first time I heard there were artists that did songs longer than 4 minutes, when I was a kid.
Mr Bungle was a trip later on.
I do that all the time, but this was the first album that came to mind
Emperor Bear's EP1, an album posted in small treasures thread here on Yea Forums where people shared obscure shit, many years ago. It struck me how comfy independent music was, and that anyone could make good shit, and that the mainstream was creatively exhausted.
Still listen to it, even if it's been scrubbed from the internet.
