anyone know of some extremely autistic tv trope pages?

You can still read the Troper Tales entries if you use Wayback Machine.

autistic manchildren get scared by stupid shit, why do we need so many threads to discuss this?

why are people on the internet scared of everything

There are admittedly some scary moments in there, but sadly most of them are basically “This one character made a scary face and it scared me” or “The bad guy tried to kill the good guy OOOOH!”

Not extremely autistic, but guess I'll share. I recently discovered that they have pages for logical fallacies. What the fuck do fallacies have to do with tropes is anyone's guess. I guess it's not a tropes website but "anything that attracts the attention of manchildren" website at this point.

This but with Heartwarming. God, I hate those pages.

>Series with more than 13 moments that have their own page:
>fluffything: Good lords, is the episode titled "The Job" just terrible. The episode itself centers around the universe being torn apart just because Richard has a job as a pizza delivery guy (Yes, seriously). However, I could forgive the episode's utter stupidity if it weren't for the DMOS moment I had with this episode. At one point in the episode, Gumball and Darwin (who are helping their dad deliver pizzas since he predictably sucks at his job) deliver a pizza to, and I kid you not, a pair of pizza-people who believe that Gumball and Darwin have delivered their baby. Ok, that's actually pretty funny. But, it goes into "WTF, Writers!?" territory when they accidentally drop said pizza causing it to smear all over the ground and the pizza-people's horrified faces. Let me repeat that more bluntly, folks. Gumball, a series geared towards children (well, older children, but children nonetheless) has a Dead. Baby. Joke. I don't care if it's technically a pizza and not a person or animal or whatnot. That does not forgive the writers for thinking that it was ok to make a dead baby joke in a children's show.

this is just a site for idiots to share their thoughts on series

>minor inconvenience happens
>tear jerker

Two male opponents fight
>Ho Yay
The scene takes on a somewhat somber tone
>Tear Jerker
A scene has nuance and underlying complexities that cannot be interpreted in a straightforward trope
>YMMV
It's good for indexing things, but nothing more.

>Note: This page was cut for reason: Documenting YMMV items for a creator.

tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/TearJerker/TheNostalgiaCritic

It's 99% just "the NC made some dark joke or sounded slightly agitated at some thing so clearly this hints at deep emotional scars and profound character work!"
Of course, TGWTG/CA shit is easy mode but there's way worse than this, like the hooker fanfic or the edgy post-apocalyptic fanfic

I dunno, sometimes TVtropes can excel when it comes to real life examples. That's why certain tropes are far more effective when applied to real life.

>the horse show has separate pages for each season

Hell, 9 times out of 10, your imagination can conjure up something scarier based on their description.

holy shit how terrifying

Sometimes the Dethroning Moment are on point..sometimes.

TV tropes userbase are the biggest pussies in the universe, what else in new?

I dont get it

>Steven Universe has a page each for the main gems

I've seen some shit on this website, but this tops everything else. Jesus fucking christ.

After the "scary/disturbing villains" thread Yea Forums had no leg to stand on.
God, that was pathetic.

tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Characters/BojackHorsemanTheHorsemanHimself
>three pages of tropes dedicated to one character
Monkey D Luffy and Homer Simpson, the main characters some of the longest running cartoons, only have one page.

Fucking christ dude, this is a blue board!

I'm sure this would be funny with context.

I'm surprised either has a whole page, they're extremely simple characters.

Is it normal to feel physically ill while reading this

>This is based on opinion

I've never watched/read Wan Piss but Homer Simpson is a pretty simple character who has received no genuinely noteworthy characterization since the late 90's. One might even argue he's become even flatter since then.

Favorite trope names?

>Homer Simpson
Understandable
Don't care for animu to comment on the other kid
Also all things considered, it's not that large so much as just so organized. If you like at the actually listings of tropes, they aren't much larger than others

The YMMV actually makes sense
The other two are just autism

Bojack is a nihilistic self pitying narcisstic depressed fuck. Is it surprising he is so popular?

I am shocked Luffy only has one page though, given how much his fanbase sucks him off you'd expect a treatise on how he is the ideal Ubermensch lasting 3 pages.

But I think Luffy and Homer were children of old media, and while Luffy is relevant in the age of new media, he wasn't born into it like Bojack.

Two male characters talking? Ho Yay. Two male characters walked past each other? Ho Yay..etc.

It isn't even with context
