Kiss saves santa and Scooby doo
The gang tries to use their skills and experience to pull off a ghost hoax like the ones theyve been busting for years, towards some sort of good cause of course. Some up and coming douchy new Mystery Inc kids who are in it for the money and Instagram likes show up and hijinx ensue
Tom & Jerry & Scooby
We may have peaked with Scoobynatural
Scooby-Doo in the style of a True Crime show.
This is probably gonna sound too try-hard and edgy, but what about the Scooby Gang in a legitimate horror setting?
They themselves are played straight, and do not change from what they've always been, no attempts at making them more dark or mature, and basically they just have plot armor to protect them from the goings on around them, but the world the inhabit and the mysteries they solve are actual supernatural, slashers, monsters, people they meet and interact with are routinely killed, that kind of thing.
They've come close to doing this a couple times with MI, some of the movies, even that Robot Chicken sketch, but I'm talking a Scooby Doo with an R rating.
That's done in the supernatural x scooby doo episode but I wouldn't mind seeing more of it.
The Gang is called up to investigate a case in Kansas, but get stuck in the town of Nowhere. There, they're allowed to stay in the home of the Baggs family: Eustace, Muriel and their dog Courage.
While Muriel forces Eustace to fix the Mystery Machine, the gang discovers many odd and scary things in the small town. Fred and Velma are convinced most of the monsters are fake, Courage does his best to protect the guests. It is until they catch one, that the gang finds out that they're real monsters.
With a gigantic danger nearing the Baggs family home, The Scooby Gang and Courage try to find multiple ways to prevent a disaster and save Nowhere.
The Gang wrongfully caused the arrest of an innocent man and a countersuit is filed against mystery Inc.
Shaggy and Scooby have literally every blatantly magical thing they've done come back to them at once including all the adventures they never told the gang about. Chaos ensues.
Alternatively just the KISS movie except it's all real.
this
That crossover was r-rated?
These are all excellent ideas
Not sure the tone of Courage matches the tone of Scooby, but maybe it could work?
I believe there are edits with the real "ending" removed lol.
It works two ways:
>ramp up the wackiness with the Scooby Gang to match Courage
>tone down the world of Nowhere to comply with Courage
And if Dilworth would be working on it too, I think it would definitely work. The bigger problem is what kind of monster/force they should face?
>comply with Scooby-Doo
Sorry, misspelling
It had cartoon gore and violence. It wasn't that gruesome, but it was close.
I really liked the Scoobynatural crossover and The Scooby-Doo Project for the parts when the gang got genuinely stressed and panicked. Stuff like that is so satisfying to watch. I just want to see the gang experience a heavy situation with heavy emotions in response, but while still retaining their true character.
I'm mostly trying to remember Courage from when I watched it as a kid, so maybe I'm wrong, but I remember Courage being pretty dark and scary, and putting the titular character in some pretty fucked up, absurd situations. I'm not sure how well that would combine with something like Scooby Doo, which, while having its fair share of absurdity, is much lighter by comparison. Nowhere is certainly a depressing setting that would need to be toned down to comply with Scooby but mostly I can't see the way Courage interacts with Nowhere fitting the way Scooby Doo interacts with most of their settings.
Yeah Scoobynatural worked really well so maybe this could work. Scoobynatural was pretty funny too.
The show had its creepy and disturbing moments, but it's also shows genuinly good comedy (black or not) and great, heartwarming moments. And while Nowhere is somewhat odd, it still a place with a lot of goofballs. But it tends to maybe too surreal for Scooby-Doo standards.
A good idea is to
>mostly focus on the gang's interaction with mostly Eustace, Muriel and Courage
>take some wacky elements from Nowhere
>make the Gang more surreal (but not too surreal)
>keep the genuine horror of the series on a sustainable level - not too much Courage, but not too Scooby
Yeah, if that balance between surreal horror and wackiness could be achieved I think it could work, but achieving that balance would be pretty hard, no?
It's the same as the normal series, but Scooby has managed to get Daphne and Velma to secretly give him handjobs when nobody is looking.
The gang winds up in Finland where a spooky ghosty happening abounds. It actually winds up being Belzebubs recording a new video for their band, but some other devilish spooky wants this band gone from their woods. I'm thinking the Belzebubs try summoning and their own devils since these 'devilish minions' are actually pretty lame.
How the fuck has this not happened already?
This should happen with their Cinematic Universe
If Stretch Films is co-producing it, then yes. With some Warner crew members who have worked a lot on Scooby-Doo to balance it out, I see this working
Interesting. Well if it could exist and achieve its potential, I'd love to see it
A time traveling series would be fun. They gang ends up stuck traveling history struggling to get back to the present. On their way they solve some of histories greatest mysteries and time inaccurism that are caused by rival time travelers. I'd call it 'Scooby-Doo When Are You?'
>'Scooby-Doo, When Are You?'
God tier title
>'Scooby-Doo, When Are You?'
Absolute kino title
So is guess who any good?
It's up and down.
Scooby Doo meets Snow Miser and Heat Miser.
Has there been a Scooby Doo christmas movie with classic characters?
I like this as long as the gang keeps as wholesome as they should
Scooby Doo and Jabberjaw meet Aquaman
The gang get's kidnapped by aliens and marooned on a planet where there are pig people that turn into trees.
Is this a reference, or just drugs?
I'm pretty sure that was a plot to one of the ender's games books
None of which I am aware.
Scooby-Doo meets Paranormal Detective Hellboy.
the gang goes to the malt shop
Definitely.
We need that episode for sure.
Scooby and Shaggy eat acid in a parody of Climax
Does KISS have their own rogues gallery?
I'd watch the hell out of that
They had evil Robot KISS from their 70's tv special
Then those robots should team up with this guy
Lupiin the 3rd vs. Scooby-Doo
Does he rape Velma or Daphne?
In all seriousness though, that would be an incredible cross over.
Scrappy gets killed by the Piggies and they escape by manifesting the Harlem Globetrotters into existence through their memories.
He definitely flirts with Daphne
>The gang get's kidnapped by aliens and marooned on a planet where there are pig people that turn into trees.
never thought I'd see someone reference Speaker For The Dead on this site...
Scrappy Doo return with a new "likable" personality.
>Scooby Doo and The Transformers
>Scooby Doo and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
SOON
My kind of jam, but this one seems to obvious to not have been done already. Any Scoobscholar around who can confirm?
Yeah, it's the second one, I think.
Great book.
TMNT just had a movie teaming up with Batman, who has teamed up with Scooby on several occasions so a team-up between TMNT and Scoob isn't that far-fetched.
Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Ghoul Brothers!
What really sets Mystery Incorporated apart from the other shows for me was that it had an actual engaging mystery which is lacking in nearly every other Scooby incarnation. I always wanted to see the next episode so I could uncover more of the puzzle.
Most shows of the franchise just focus on the comedy, but I feel like you can do both. It doesn't even need to be a series long mystery like MI. A series with hour long episodes would be enough to setup a good, self-contained story and still allow for all the goofy shenanigans that SD is known for.
Replace the virgin freddy with the chad johnny
Mystery Inc fucked up changing the character dynamics with the Shaggy/Velma thing 2bh
Absolutely. The appeal of the whole premise would be juxtaposition of having the scoobies be so out of place in a setting like that.
Like, you've got a house cenobites, ripping folks to shreds with hooks and chains, and Fred is still like "looks like we've got a mystery on our hands. Let's split up to find that puzzle box."
And the reactions to all the carnage would be Zoinks, Jinkies, and a running montage with door gag
Scooby Doo: Night of the Deadites
>it had an actual engaging mystery which is lacking in nearly every other Scooby incarnation.
wrong
They have never done this yet and I've rewatched the franchise in honor of the 50th anniversary. They should keep it to an episode or movie though, a whole series would lose it's appeal after a while.
I don't know why but Daphne looks pretty good without her scarf and with the popped collar
A crossover with the other 'Scooby clones' like The Amazing Chan and Chan Clan, Speed Buggy etc or a crossover with just the Shaggy clones
Yeah, Scoobynatural was great.
I mean, I could see a fun mini series that crossed over with popular supernatural TV shows/properties, though.
>Zach Bagans Ghost Adventures
>Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
>Lucifer
>Preacher
>Stranger Things
>Buzzfeed Unsolved
>Buffy
>Evil Dead
>Twin Peaks
>Blade
The Scoob among us would sound kino, desu.
>they end up in the 80’s
>they inexplicably have Scrappy Doo (voiced by Frank Welker) with them and no one mentions it
Scooby Doo meets Taimanin Asagi
>still waiting on that anime adaption with actual horror elements
>anime
cringe
I'm actually surprised theres no scooby doo ova or manga at least
I don't think Scooby ever got big in Japan somehow.
Looking at the Japanese wiki page, apparently although broadcast through the 70s and 80s it was less popular than other Hanna Barbera shows like Flintstones and Wacky Races. Most later series after the Scooby & Scrappy shows weren't even localized (some movies and specials did get localized though, including Zombie Island and the ones right after it.).
How about one where Shag and Scoob get really high and he lets Scooby give him the knot?
A show with the tone and artstyle of Zombie Island with an overarching plot
I wonder why. It seems like it'd be right up their alley
Skooks and co. meet Freddy and Jason
Make it more "adult" give it hentai scenes
Just think, right now there's some japanese fans talking about subs over dubs about Scooby Doo.
Does 2ch have a western section?
This sounds like the perfect plot for a Ghost Facers crossover
They should use those skills to take the douchy kids down
I'd like to see crossovers with
>Ghostbuusters (and/or Extreme Ghostbusters)
>TMNT
>Power Rangers cause why not
Other ideas that could be interesting include
>a Christmas movie where they team up with Santa Claus
>an "Into the Scoobyverse" where the gang meet multiple other incarnations of themselves from various eras
>a sci-fi movie similar to Loonatics Unleashed which completely reboots the gang into a futuristic space setting (The Jetsons could have cameos)
>a similar Elseworlds-type story where the gang somehow have superheroes similar to that one SpongeBob episode
>a Scrappy-Doo returns movie
>a Scooby-Dum returns movie (these could both be the same movie)
>the gang in a nightmarish dreamlike reality similar to A Nightmare on Elm Street, maybe the story could be that the end up in Hell itself
>a mockumentary that treats the gang like real celebrities and explores what goes on behind the scenes, revealing all sorts of interpersonal drama we weren't previously aware of
>a movie themed around a parody of James Bond movies
>another live-action movie
>Into the Scoobyverse
We kinda got this with Mystery Inc but I want this done proper
The gang visits Daphne's mega-rich uncle who owns a logging business in the Amazon. Ghostly jaguar warriors and a winged serpent are disrupting his operations. The gang does what it does, and it turns out that the warriors are the Planeteers and the serpent is Captain Planet.
The gang then helps with the ruse, and Daphne's uncle quits and turns to one of his other billion dollar projects. Alternatively, the Planeteers go to Brazilian jail.
Scooby Doo meets Mortal Kombat
based on the original movie
Shang Tsung dies after a nutshot from Fred
Tom and Jerry, South Park, and Scooby
Scooby Doo meets the Teen Titans would make a fun movie
Since they’re doing throwbacks to old movies and shows, I’d like to see a new movie based on a Pup Named Scooby Doo
A Scooby Doo/Godzilla crossover done as a sort of mash-up of Hanna Barbara Goji and Godzilla vs Gigan.
They did that with puppets a few years ago.
>X-Files not the top of the list
Bring pic related back and Del Chillman
>SCOOBY DOO:DARK MYSTERIES
>A horror style Spooky Scooby Doo reboot which feature remakes of classic Where are You and Scooby Doo Show episodes in the most Spooky way. The series also has lots of brand new monsters and a story arc revolving around a governement organisation that wants to start an Alien invasion to rule the world. Del Chillman returna as a conspiracy theorist and old Friend of Shaggy while the Alien from Alien Invaders returna, Crystal, to join the gang and stop the Alien Invasion. It's revealed that all the myths and monsters inspiration were ayy lmaos.Crystal will die in the final of the series to save humanity and Shaggy will cry but he'll marry Daphne while Fred will marry Vana Pirra. Velma will stay alone.
Doubt it. Scooby Doo consistently does good crossovers.
I know, I want to see the actual artstyle come back because these are really good character designs. It helps that it was more cartoony than other iterations.
Also, Zombie Island was mostly animated by japanese people.
I love how lenient WB is with Scooby Doo and other HB IPs, it creates great material.
The full gang was never part of a hoax, but Velma did help pull one off to guard Egyptian treasure
‘Scooby Doo: Streets of Coolsville’. I’d watch it
Scooby-Doo meets The punisher.
