I'm cautiously optimistic but I've been burn before. Watching Geoff's Saturn girl phase out of existence in Dooms day was almost the last straw for me. The new designs vary from alright to questionable or out right bad. I really like Bendis's Young Justice, but I know big team books are his weakness, and here he is about to tackle the biggest comic book team in comics. The future for the Legion doesn't look so bright in the next few years.

I maintain the way to bring them back was basically do Wonder Comics, 3 books Legion of Super-Heroes, Legionnaires, and Adventure Comics, Bendis gets one as a containment book and the other 2 are teams to get excited about, maybe they crossover annually or something, and you can constantly be rotating the teams bc there are so many Legionnaires

And you wouldn't even need to underplay the role of the early characters, just have it be a few years into the team's history. He could introduce all the shitty OC he wants without needing to ruin anyone.
Keep Superman's history with them and you could do a fun adventure with Jon not going far enough into the future and teaming up with his teenage dad.

The main characters are two brothers who get powers with their friends on some island or something and then the younger brother turns out to be evil. It follows several generations of the superheroes from the same family. I though the author was Bendis but not I don’t know.

It depends on how sales do.
Personally I don't think this will sell that well. At best maybe "better than typical Legion sales", at first, but I don't believe Bendis has the same star power he used to have. If you look at GOTG, X-Men, and Iron Man there was initial interest and then it either gradually fell or slid kind of fast, in spite of the stunt things he did like Iceman coming out or Iron Man getting replaced by Riri and Doom.
