Frozen II

Where's the final trailer?!

I want to complain about something new!

What's the point anymore? Elsa won't get a GF/BF so there's no butthurt to be harvested from /pol/ or Tumblr

Elsa gate

Never forget

This board won't survive. Literally the only reason Yea Forums survived the first movie is there were actually mods who enforced generals. One look at Steven Universe: The Board tells you we're fucked.

Frozen was only popular due to 'let it go'
Without it, this will be another mediocre cgi movie

>Where's the final trailer?!
Next month

The trailers so far make it look like it might be good.

this year was underwhelming for animation, quality, and money wise.

will Fro2en break this trend?

Why does Disney hate romance now? This and Rey from star wars

Is a main character finding love such a bad thing?

Does Anna and Kristoff not count?

Not main characters

She'll learn to truly love her powers, and marry a genderless snow construct.

Really, it was all Elsa. Her sexy-to-everyone design, her reserved personality, her stunning powers, her voice, & her song. Without Elsa, Frozen would have been lukewarm at best.

>Why does Disney hate romance now?
because strong girls don't need no man!

Humans need other humans
To love and be loved is why we live and not just romantic but all kinds like family and friends

Kek. They're main characters, just not popular characters.

Because the current consensus is romance is a cliché fantasy only found in fairy tales & fairy tales are patriarchal lies to lull little girls into delusion & submission.

Did Moana have romance? I never saw it

This is how they view romance now.
A generation of women is growing up believing this.

Jesus Christ I hate modern polotics being shoved into fairy tales

Someone should make a Bluebeard adaption and go ape with the lady gore. She's saved by her brothers so no love there if thats what you want

I honestly can't tell if you people are joking anymore

No

Then why do strong men have harems of beautiful ladies?

Nope. Most Disney movies don't have romance- just mainly princess films.

Worst part is the writing of the Hans twist imo

Well, that's what we're going to get from the current regime under Jennifer Lee. Feminist drivel & "timely" stories. Writing for the message instead of the adventure.

>Worst part is the writing of the Hans twist imo

they needed a villain since Elsa became the protagonist

No, they didn't. Shouldn't the message have been against witch hunts? Not every problem has a perpetrator to blame.

Maybe if they did make the story about how mob mentality is bad, we wouldn't be in this current cancel culture.

"Cancel culture" exists only on twitter.
Stay off it for a while and you'll feel better

He tried to kill her and her sister.

Because they're the last Disney original characters with good romance arc

absolutely wholesome

He tried to kill them.

There is a standard for violence. Hans didn't try to kill Anna; Anna was dying from Elsa's magic. Elsa was sentenced to death for killing Anna & causing the winter. Hans was just acting as executioner.

It was not justified for Anna to punch Hans. Hans was not threatening violence against her or anybody at that moment. And punching is completely wrong just because the guy lied & broke your heart. Slapping, arguably, spitting, gross but pretty harmless, but punching? That's so wrong regardless of who's throwing it.

Nah, Hans just left her to freeze to death and put out the fire.

Leaving someone to die isn't murder. If Anna wasn't hit by Elsa's magic & Hans did the same shit, that would not be grounds for murder. Only grounds for being a jerk.

They used to catch a lot of shit for having characters fall in love and marry in a matter of days. They basically have to explain to little girls that true love CAN happen, but it takes time.

Even though no little girl grew up believing that shit unless if they were retarded.

also she should break her arm, girls arent that strong

What a bizarre show that was.
At the time I thought it was impressive that Disney had their own TV show, but now they're launching a streaming service with ten times the amount of content. The Mouse cannot be stopped
