E23 - Mao and BC are preparing breakfast for Adorabat. During that minute, there's so much going on on the screen, I wouldn't even try to describe it in words. That scene just screams they live like a happy and vibrant family.
E24 - "picnic" scene, "bad-weather-comfy-couch" scene. Gods, this is my favorite so far.
They really couldn't show it any more clear that Adorabat lives with Mao and BC 100% time, day and night.
All that leaves me in no confusion regarding that moment when Adorabat referred to her -dad- in E23. For me, she could only have meant one person.

Parker could increase his chances of getting his season 2 by working better with CN and his fans. I don't even think he's completely in the wrong; CN has mistreated his show in few different ways and what he said about obviously wasn't anything personal and would actually be more welcome after the show had ended.

The fun of shipping is the possibility of being right and in this climate of "surprise lesbians" it's actually fun for everyone, the shippers and the haters, to have something to talk about. Something to type in all caps about.

The first half (?) of the season focused on Mao Mao’s arc with his parental issues, so he was the one who had to learn a lot. Now the focus might be shifting to Badgerclops’ issues instead

afaik tumblr automatically shrinks images so it’s basically impossible to get their full size from the site itself. Some artists post full sizes off site but otherwise you’re sol

Even if there's a 500 instead of 1280 at the end you can just replace it. But the've implemented a new one that random images have sometimes and it means the image is stuck at the smallest size because you can't just change the number at the end like normal. For a long time you could get the raw resolution but they've been obscuring it more and more ever since that knowledge came out.

Why do tumblr and twitter keep making things worse with their images, why do they make it such a chore to access the full-size image of something?

Badgerclops used to be Bearclops at one point in time. Maybe they changed his species because they didn’t want to clash with We Bare Bears, or something like that? You can still see him as Bearclops in the ”I Love You Mao Mao” teaser and the ”Bearclops Drawing Song” video from a couple of years ago.

Even then, humanisations will usually have retarded clothes or hairstyles just to keep the look of the characters recognizable with zero regards for what the character looks like.

Like your example - in what fucking world would a person like Mao Mao have a silly-ass cat ears haircut? It just feels like the artist has zero confidence in their own ability to make a human recognizably be "Mao Mao".

Which is especially weird since that's a perfectly fine Badgerclops (except for those little tufts of hair that look like ears, god dammit)

True, true. It's an issue with all humanizations in general. But it also plays into the fact that many of these artists are amateurs and not particularly good at character design.

I thought the spare arm sparking when Mao held it in his hands meant it was malfunctioning.
