The atmosphere and dread of everything is fucking great, it feels like the electric analogue to DSBM. A lot of your soundscapes and motifs honestly remind me of Xasthur but with synths.
Yeah it sounds cool, maybe add some more directhin though
Sounds good, something I could see in a movie sound track
Sounds good and I like the aesthetic but I’d have added more traditional sounds to give it some drive and a hook
I thought this would be an angele cover. Cool art work

thanks. directthin? is that a musical term im unaware of? I googled it and it is actually something relating to photography so maybe your reffering to the images lol..or you mean like directon as in have the track go somewhere? I agree but thats what came out. its literally a loop of tape sellotaped togeather, just experimental really
thanks for listening, will check out your stuff
Sorry I meant direction. Sort of a rise and fall. It’s a good aesthetic and sounds good, not harsh or prickly like some of the genre. But to sit and give it full attention for the duration isn’t easy, it’s more for background in a game or movie is all I meant.
hahah yeh man no worries. Maybe I could do something else with it actually. re-work it somehow.. nice one!

I give feedback and comments on Souncloud.
Listened to the EP, my favorite is Jalousie, you can notice the dub techno influence on that track, Parted Lips it's a so so Ambient track, great on the ambience but not very interesting on the textures. Palpitation is a cool mid-tempo track, but in general the sounds and the acide bassline don't a lot of impact on my ears.
Was out of the game for couple of years, had a kick to make something new so there we go.

Sad to be gone has some really nice vocals, and the mix and everything is just stellar. The guitar riff is nice and catchy too. The part starting at 2:07 is really good, I actually think this song would be super cool to see live. Good stuff!

I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by this, excellent work! The bass-line somehow sounds like dozens I've heard from 80's synth music but is still unique in its own way. Very nice balance of highs and lows, and of steady rhythm blended with unexpected arpeggios. The video is also a great complement so overall I think you nailed this as a nostalgia simulator.
Amiga4ever! Thanks!
Thanks a lot, it's been a trip working on this non-stop.
oh man, you got some real nice sound going. Would love to hear it recorded in a studio. Rough deal that you guys can only jam 2 times a year.
Love the drum beat in reckoning.
This is juicyyy. Love the mushy psych feel of the guitars and the solos are badass. instrumentals remind me of psychedelic porn crumpets.

Thanks! I used the vibraphone on GarageBand. I've used it in a few other songs as well to provide some subtle background riffs.
Ah a vibraphone, nice job. Really adds to the song.

Great performance both with the guitar and vocals here. You've done well to supplement the percussion with nuanced accents on guitar and the frequency balance between the guitar and vocals lets everything be heard evenly. The only improvement I could suggest is de-essing the vocals a bit, but it's really just a minor nitpick honestly. The harmony between humming and guitar is also great. Excellent quality here for a demo!

sounds really nice and well produced for a demo. the subtle harmonics are nice, and so is your voice. a very calming voice over a very calming guitar. late summer vibes. loved it my man

Vocals are perfect! Nice, flat, melodramatic, foreign and slightly out of tune, just how Lisa likes them. Flawless work there! Is the guitar a clean DI recording with ITB amp and effects? It's a very clean tone! My only complaint is the drums lack of oomph in the low end but the rest of the mix and the playing overall is solid!
This is my work posted from earlier if you'd care to listen and share some feedback
thanks a lot man, it means a lot! yeah the guitars are DI recordings, I always record them this way.
congratulations for keeping up a band while rehearsing only twice a year, that's pretty impressive, especially as I can hear the chemistry between you two.
I was so surprised when your vocals first came in. I was expecting a totally different kind of voice for some reason. but it sounds great. you guys occupy a lot of space with just vocals, a guitar and drums. I actually wasn't even expecting music of this kind at all, given the tags. sounds a bit like American Football, so I would've tagged it midwest emo maybe.
'Unintended Consequences' was my favorite song of the two. the guitar tones are so clean and beautiful. loved the instrumental sections most of all (that riff at 10:38 man, just awesome)
good stuff user, keep it up!
Recs. I love the sound of your work! Keep the improvising up, it's always fun to just tune away at the piano when in the proper mood. ^^

this is very pretty user. really good quality for a demo. what exactly are you planning on changing for the release version? I tend to cram as many tracks as possible into my songs so I'm a bit biased but I wish there was at least a little more going on.
I feel like there was a lot of good build-up here, wish there was more payoff. the fuzzy bass is cool.
I agree with the other user.
