Not an OST, but Mr. Lynch did a few albums definitely worth checking out. This one he did with Marek Zebrowski is one of my favorite albums to play when driving at night.

come back in 999, 999 years, 364 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds and I'll prove you wrong, op
thanks for the heads up, always loved the Inland Empire OST but didn't know there was a full album of this
didn't even particularly like the show
Good answer. Thief must be watched on a big screen with a loud sound system.
Purple Rain, Taxi Driver, Jet Set Radio Future, A tribute to Jack Johnson, Bomberman Hero
Yo why do people like this so much. I'm a big soundtrack guy but this was a snooze fest for the most part. Laura Palmer's theme was cool. The frost of four times it was played. All three songs get played four times with minor differences after already going on too long in their original versions. How the fuck did it ever reach the highest spot for an OST on RYM and musicboard? Halo exists. Minecraft exists. Undertale exists. Hollow Knight exists. Etc etc.
That particular release doesn't have most of the best songs from the show, you need the Twin Peaks Archives to find the good stuff that's actually played in the show. That soundtrack was for many years the only way you could get any music from the show, it wasn't until 2012 or 2013 that Archives were released.
see also twin peaks obviously, similar vibe but a bit darker, but the tracks have variety and its actually a well sequenced album
twin peaks sucks
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
*mogs*
>Sycamore Trees
God that song is so comfy.
and the winner is ...
So desu ne
Don't forget the lifetime's work of Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly etc.)
This, way too based for a soundtrack
Pink Room is kino
Suicide Squad, obviously.
only good thing about the movie

Oh yes.
Dark Mood Woods is the underrated gem from season 2.
This one is great as well!
I know it has become a meme, but I genuinely like it. I think it's the only good film directed by Harmony Korine.
fuck polanski, fuck baphomet, fuck you

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
What meme?
Methinks Korine is a brilliant but somehow still underrated moviemaker. His storytelling might be off putting, but his output in unmatched.
Seriously, give Spring Breakers, The Beach Bum and Mr. Lonely a chance. Even the stuff he did with Larry Clark is worthwhile to watch.
While we’re at it, we cannot ignore Lynch is one of the pioneers of dark ambient thanks to the Eraserhead soundtrack he “composed” with Alan Splet.
