>tfw you have no identity
>you have nobody
>finally you get some people you bond with
>they recognize you as a person and not just an agent of P.L.O.T.
>they're all guys but it's fine, you'll just be one of the guys
>literally always do the right thing, never ever fucking ever a bitch after IM2
>alright I can't have kids but I can have love surely
>no
>all the guys either get the hero ending where you get the girl and kids or they get to go on
>I get to sacrifice and die with only regrets
>it's not even the emotional climax of the movie at all
Jesus Fucking Christ.
Tfw you have no identity
>finally gets a movie
>they push Tony Stark into it
>can't even get a thread going
I was honestly astounded by how hard they shoved Black Widow into the fridge. Surprising how little outrage that sparked, considering that it actually was bullshit.
It's legitimately the unfairest dhit. Quillfags need not apply.
Why do I feel like crying? She's a fictional character...but still. What the actual fuck?
Crying? Who's crying? It's just a movie,
>finally gets a solo movie
>10 years after people start asking for one
>after they kill off her character
>they shove RDJ into it
>entire point of the film is to introduce a replacement so they can have a new franchise
It's like ScarJo is being forced to train the Indian immigrant who will be replacing her for 1/3rd the salary.
No one cares that some dried up old hag died.
If they actually went through with the Widow Hulk romance, it would've been fucking awful, and you know it.
She'll be back. Movies might actually be able to pull off the revolving door better than comics since they're at least limited in who they can bring back by contracts.
>Surprising how little outrage that sparked
Because they draped the movie in mystery, so you weren't even allowed to discuss it at length because of spoilers. In a way they prevented any negativeness by making people police their own opinions about the movie until everyone had seen it.
Hulk explictly said he couldn't bring her back, even with the power of the infinity gauntlet. They're not going to do it.
At best, you could get another prequel or a flashback scene in a different movie.
They wouldn't waste a resurrection on a character like her when they could easily re-use the Black Widow callsign on another younger spy girl.
It didn't have to be hulk but hulk was better than fucking nothing.
They'll make her black this time, since she's a redhead.
Sure, but then they'd have to call her Red Widow.
Florence Pugh isn't black.
Should have been Cap they had tons of chemistry in WS. Ruffalo banner is dogshit
Yeah but Cap wasn't at the end of his hero's journey then. The Peggy cope is wrong too.
>Surprising how little outrage that sparked, considering that it actually was bullshit.
Women are mad. Some at least, the ones that still care about BW. The Russos are nowhere near as popular now as they were at the end of Winter Soldier.
Yeah that pissed me off a bit, literally regressed him as a character just so they could write him out.
>The Russos are nowhere near as popular now as they were at the end of Winter Soldier.
Imagine thinking this is true.
Let me rephrase that: the Russos aren't anywhere near as widely liked by the people that know about them as they were at the end of Winter Soldier. Now that people have seen them direct the biggest franchise crossover ever, their profile is obviously much higher, and that leads to better job opportunities, but creating crossover fiction is hard, especially when you're bound to be working with some characters you don't get how to write, and fans who only care about one character's arc that has a place in your movie. A higher fraction now of the people who know about the Russo Brothers seethe and outright don't like them now than did when they were nobodies.
While that might be true, they're all held in a higher regard than many of the big directors handling other franchises, because despite some of the salt from Endgame's most definite choices, they stuck the landing.
And right now, one of the things they'd like to direct is the Fantastic Four, which if they manage to secure, will get even more fans on board who will forget about Fat Thor and fridging Black Widow and Gamora.
Do you even know what being fridged means? Black Widow was a fully realized character whose death was an organic outcome of her story arc.
>not emotional
fuck you it was hella emotional, they kept mentioning it through out the movie.
you know, cap could have traveled back in time and bring her back be fore the fall. its not like thanos was in that time line anymore.
not by the stones but time travel could work, since the time line thanos left behind was left behind and there was no threat.
I mean thats how gamora came back
>you know, cap could have traveled back in time and bring her back be fore the fall. its not like thanos was in that time line anymore.
The main timeline sure, but that one would've been doomed. Remember, that Thanos 2014 went forwards in time to the 2023 timeline, but in that timeline he...
... Okay, let me think about it some more.
>And right now, one of the things they'd like to direct is the Fantastic Four, which if they manage to secure, will get even more fans on board
A third live-action version of the FF is far from a guaranteed hit. It's a brand normies already know they don't care about.
You mean fourth?
Also enough time has passed since Fant4stic (4 years), remember how long it took between ASM2 and Civil War? What matters to most people is the version, not how many times they've tried. If straight remakes can be successful, a new version of the Fantastic Four in the MCU will do fine.
Google the original, Star Trek associated meaning of Mary Sue and come back. People misuse the fuck out of words like that. Especially retarded teenagers on Yea Forums.
Are you kidding? It's largely forgotten in the hour and a half between her death and the epilogue.
And I didn't say it wasn't emotional, I said it wasn't the climax, rather it was the Act 2 event used to show that shit got real.
he could just bring nat back from the 2014 timeline. same as tony. like they did with Gamora. what's the worst that could happen? Thanos would be dead. Barring someone like Kang taking over being the big bad, that universe is safe.
