I have a soft spot for The Lion King 2 and other Disney VHS sequels. In fact I probably watched it more than the original movie. Not to say I thought it was better than the original, but it was a much slower and calmer movie that lent itself to more rewatches. Everyone rolls their eyes at the Disney Sequels but I think some of them are pretty ok.

it was only ok because this was the only sequel(s) where they didn't drop the quality. the only disney sequels i can think of not having that quality dropped its lion king, the rescuers and bambi

man, balto just has something that really gets me. i dont know if i should call it nostalgia, but i feel some sadness thinking about it, i think im just attached to the movie for a strange reason.

As for shows that I'll never recommend despite liking it is probably Beast Wars. It's just aged so so, poorly on the visual spectrum that I don't expect it to appeal to anyone in modern day.

Recently rewatched all the Disney animated films from the 70s-80s and I wouldn't consider any of them to be bad. Guess the original Rescuers would count for this thread since it usually gets placed at the bottom tier nowadays but personally I slightly prefer it over Down Under.
