Here's how it looks, she had a plot but it was the third or forth priority. She wanted to go on about her fetish in a quippy way. What I like about this book is this whole plot is impossible if for any other reason than that the FDA keeps hormone drugs and hallucinegens out of approved food products. You got to realize that the products that do have potentially harmful chemicals have ppm that they are calling it trace amounts is like calling a micromachine the same size as that giant jeep.

Yeah. So issue 1-3 have a very straight forward story with literal cat monsters. 4 only makes sense in the context of the first 3 and is still hyper “real”. You can see the story throws out random plot elements in 5, and just kinda meanders for the rest of the run.
So yeah. Definitely a last minute plot swap.
