I have been giving this ship some serious thought as of late.
It came up in another thread. They were the first CG/Steven combo to fuse, they both overcame insecurity at trying to catch up with the CGs. And their fusion has three arms, which might suggest something.

Their fusion is easily the worst gem in the series, and it's not even close. For that reason alone, I'm out.
They are definitely the closest relationship when it comes to Steven and the CG. Hell, most of what he did was just spend a day with her doing stuff they normally did.
