Lil Nas X - Panini (ft. DaBaby) [Chowder Video]
This would have been better if they added in the whacky back ground characters like in the show and added in I'm not your boyfriend in the end
Is this legal?
Possibly. I doubt they asked CN or Greenblatt though.
Schnitzel spitting bars.
It’s literally the name of a sandwich
The animation isn't as bad as I expected, other then the lip sync.
If they can argue parody, then yes.
I will make it legal
Don't you be a meanie
Based
Hits too close to home.
>Greenblatt
I think he's happy somebody even remembered Chower enough to make a song about it.
So I’m guessing Lil Nas had a crush on Panini when he was little or something?
>meh its the dance video but with a chowder picture nice bait OP...
>watch the video
What the fuck, thats cool as hell
>So I’m guessing Lil Nas has a crush on Panini or something?
Yes.
Isn't he gay?
Bi, but I guess he leans towards men a bit more.
They could've put the guy that lives in the clouds at the end of the video, real missed opportunity
youtu.be
He gets puss from time to time.
*similar except
there's also Willow Smith's Marceline song
youtu.be
No, he made this song as an analogy of her (who is severely obsessed with Chowder) and the fans who left him behind after he became more famous thanks to the success of the crap that is Old Town Road.
Based desu.
Not my cup of tea but it's always cool to see something you like inspire people like this. Good for Greenblatt.
Old town road is a great song though
Don't forget J.I.D
youtube.com
Where the fuck is the Rodeo remix Nas?
>Little Nas X gets to make a song and 2 music videos about his waifu
>Genny Travoski got to bring back his acclaimed cartoon back and sunk it all for his waifu
Thats some dedication
I have several questions about this video, mostly why? Chowder is long gone
Rodeo is a shit song, next single will either be F9mily, C7osure, or new material
2000s nostalgia is rapidly growing in popularity now that zoomers are old enough to have a disposable income
I think 3 videos, actually. There's this, a visualizer, and an actual video by mike diva coming.... whenever.
The music video already came out.
Mike Diva video is out already
youtu.be
Was this actually done by the show. Because they gave Panini some huge melons
yep
Someone asked Carl about the video.
That is so lit
That's what I was wondering as well but I guess parody laws are strong af
I'd love a remix that took Cardi B the fuck out of that song and replaced her with someone talented
So what's our solution to the Zoomer Question?
>Millennials: So what's our solution to the Zoomer Question?
>Gen X: So what's our solution to the Millennial Question?
>Boomer: So what's our solution to the Gen-X Question?
>Silents: So what's our solution to the Boomer Question?
>G.I.'s: So what's our solution to the Silent Question?
>Lostlets: So what's our solution to the "Greatest" Question?
Except I'm not a millennial and dead-as-Lincoln serious.
Does anyone have the Lapis Lazuli song that Lil Nas did back in the day? It used to be just there on Youtube but I can't find it now
Fine, not really. This retarded shit just drives me up a wall.
he's a pretty nigga i got to admit
wait wot, he actually a lapisfag??
See, this is what the fuck I'm talking about.
He used have a song and a little amv of the episode where lapis, greg and steven go fishing but it's not there anymore
I remember it being pretty good
Reminds me of those late 90s flash videos.
But this isn’t a parody. Everything in the video is very clearly supposed to be from the Cartoon Network series, Chowder; the characters, the backgrounds, EVERYTHING. They didn’t even try to avoid copyright controversies by tweaking the characters’ designs or color palettes.
I’m no narc, but I do wanna know how this is allowed. I’m sure if Lil Nas X’s team had made a similar video that was Phineas and Ferb-themed, Disney would’ve been on their asses almost instantly.
The difference is the little faggot became a sacred cow overnight because he was kicked off of a pointless list for not being a certain genre of music, so trying to sue him would just be bad PR that CN can't afford. Disney could (and, make no mistake, absolutely would) take him to criminal court because bad PR is to them what the common cold is to modern man.
youtu.be
The original video doesn't exist, he privated every song that came before Old Town Road after some literally who company tried to sue him with $25 million after one of his songs contained a sample of "Carry On" by Bobby Caldwell.
I ask again
He ran a nicki minaj fan blog. I'm an open minded guy but that nigga is gay.
It's a great hook
Billy Rays voice has gotten a lot better too
aye thanks man
>This is what zoomers actually believe
it didn't actually use any footage from the show so as long as they aren't profiting off of it it's fine.
>so as long as they aren't profiting off of it
That's always been bullshit, first of all. Second, even if it wasn't, by what definition is he not attempting to profit here?
Soulful
SEETHING
Imagine needing to Crimestop different opinions on celebrities.
>emo trap shit
The song is good but the video is terrible and i have no idea why this exist
It exists because the Mouse Utopia replication study known as Generation Z are now a market unto themselves.
> referring to a specific demographic as generation
congratulations! you fell for the marketing gimmick
Born between '95-2012 is hardly "specific."
What ages do you think separate early, mid, and late 2000s nostalgia?
How could anyone forget Chowder?
>now that zoomers are old enough to have a disposable income
Not most of them, yet. Cherish every moment while you can.
His response. People asked him about the song before too, he finds it cool, but has no involvement.
I don't think CN would care enough to take legal action anyways
>nigger music
It wasn’t the biggest show of its time, and only lasted about 2 years before the Adventure Time hype.
lil bitch
*Lil Nas X
anyone that stands next to anyone is having sex?
At least I'm not a nigger
Why doesn't he ask Liliana Mumy out?
I don't think she cares about it.
Didn't he release that mixtape on SoundCloud for free? Why sue if he's not making a profit off it?
Wish he'd rerelease it when that bullshit blows over, it's not half bad
Go back to Yea Forums
This music video reminded me of how much I miss this show and that I haven't seen it on television in over 10 years.
Also, it's pretty cool that Lil Nas X said that Panini was actually partially inspired by the actual character from the show. Makes me wonder if there will be any other Yea Forums characters referenced in other media in coming years.
youtube.com
This was made and nothing happened, so iguess is fine, also i think Soulja boy made something with Johnny test right?
I remember when Millennial Youtube ranters dominated the internet, and went on about how CN/Nick died in 2004 (when they cancelled all the 90s shows).
But now we're at the point where Zoomer nostalgia for post-2004 shows like Chowder is officially mainstream.
For a short time after Old Town Road rose in popularity, all his Soundcloud songs were on Spotify, despite being self-released.
This was animated like one of those Elsa and Spider-Man vids, and I’m a lil’ creeped out.
>
Well, all the money went into the actual music video. That thing is theatrical quality, one shot of the airplane excluded.
I'd need to have been there before for me to go back.
In other words, we're rapidly spiraling into a dystopia.
Chowder and Panini's actions and expressions don't make any sense in context of each other. This annoys me,but I guess it's not unusual for most animated hip hop music videos, so if that aesthetic is what they're going for I guess they got it.
Think it's cause it's mirroring the original music video
Better yet, what years do you think someone aged 24 should be nostalgic for?
>wasn't involved in the video
>it's on his channel
How does that work?
Don't you mean lil' nigga
>Implying the people who made this remember anything from Chowder except for the basics
There's a 7-year-old somewhere who, in the future, will do with Summer Camp Island what Lil Nas X did with Chowder.
Nigga what?
Literally fucking nothing. No one under the age of 30 should be nostalgic for anything and it's embarrassing how socially acceptable 20-somethings and zoomers crying on the internet over mediocre shit that was still airing less than 10-15 years ago, that they can still watch any time they want, has become.
>No one younger than me deserves to remember anything fondly!
How far up is that broom?
Thiccguy here.
people are now telling me i predicted his latest music vid.
Hardly know about these rappers but this one's way better.
Well in fairness I've never seen Chowder.
Good job m8. How’d you do it?
Who. Would. Have fucking. Thunk. Next you'll tell me a song called "Deedee" will have a video referencing Dexter's Laboratory.
i'm related to Nostradamus
the song is shit but I'm really glad they didnt make future edds stoners like everyone else
Panini is cute.
This is almost really good. It would have been nice if it weren't so amateurly animated.
>the basics
Lil Nas X? More like a fucking bad mess
That's not even a joke, you just said his name and a dictionary definition of his (for want of a better word) music.
BASED
MUNG
POSTER
>muh 'Lil Nas X's music SUCKS!'
lol, keep being a contrarian
This is what the "urbans" call music?
you sir, are old
...
Now that's just mean.
I guess not liking shit meme music (I repeat myself) made by hacks with unearned fame and a sense of humor that ages like already-sweating cheese makes me a fucking Lost-Genner in a zoomer's body.
It's what zoomers are calling music. Yes, you are in hell.
I miss when rock was the emo music. At least it had actual singing instead of talking
